Hi guys, I've been a lurker in this thread for so long.

Now I decided to login my account again after 2 years of hiatus. lol

So here are my thoughts on all these Mamamoo dating rumors.

 

- I personally think that it's 2youggirls based on many reasons that you guys already share.

- For me Moonbyul is just so GAY (She choked my gaydar so hard.) that I can't see or imagine her dating any man. Idk if it's only me who think she's just so gay but as Moonbyul trash,everything about her scream gay to me.

- As for Solar, even though she's glued to her phone so much in this era and that could be a reason why we think she's dating someone. But in my experience, my friend(who is also gay) and her gf also glued to their phone too and they even sit about 2 seats away from each other(oh yeah and it's me who sit between them and she kept feeding her gf across my face.)

 

So idk, I'm trying not be too delulu here. If the rumor is real or not I'll still supporting them.

first off I want to say that anything anyone posts regarding someone else's sexuality (in speculation) is going to be of stereotype. The only way to make any statements or basis on this kind of thing is pointing out characterizations that we stereotype this certain group of people to have. So someone immediately seeing amber and how she dresses and assessing that she is a lesbian (in a non judgemental or negative way of course) is fine and completely understandable (I'm sure even she understands). Before I proceed with "evidence" I would just like to add, what is so wrong with thinking someone is homosexual? Whenever someone makes a blank statement that someone is gay they are constantly confronted with needing evidence as if a person can't be thought of as gay and that be it. If I stated someone was straight and paired them with the opposite gender no one would constantly ask for evidence of them being straight, it would just be accepted that that is (or is a possibility of) their sexuality. Why can't people accept that there is a possibility someone can be gay and it's not wrong / something that needs to be factually backed up or else never stated, if a person thinks they are.

 

again I am going to state these are stereotypes and don't apply to EVERY lesbian but we can't deny that a good number of them do these things so simply as evidence (and good reasons I think she is a lesbian) I am going to put them. I want to make note that the behavior I am pointing out will mainly pertain to more 'masculine' (butch, stud etc.) females of the lgbt community. Also, I know that a lot of these have to do with her tomboy image (nails, backpack) but that all still ties into her overall

 

her nails. Chica always keeps them short and rarely paints them, mami's a top, sign #1

her bookbag (lack of purse). When the lesbian on girl code said how she carries a backpack instead of a purse and was like "gay code" I cracked up cause it is so true lol

the way she sits. Many non femme lesbians sit like this. Her whole demeanor in the way she sits reads lesbian, or at least female who isn't trying to attract a male

her interactions. Now I will admit, with Amber it is super hard to (based solely on interactions) make any statement on her sexuality cause she is absolutely amazing at treating men and women fairly the same BUT with females she definitely is more dominant and has this character of 'I'm the protector over you' (which I would say is slightly out of character for someone who is the younger sibling). Also, when a female is doing something like that back to her she obliges but makes it into this funny 'haha, you can do this now but I am still the person who will protect you' thing. And when it comes to males she doesn't show even the slightest sign of attraction. It's funny cause she is always treating them as competition and upon first meeting she is comfortable with them instead of reserved like most females are

what she finds sexy. Most heterosexual females when told to be sexy do it with the mind of attracting males thus doing very "girly" or sexual things. Amber's view (or at least how she chooses to portray it) of sexiness is the total opposite and is what most of your more dominant lesbians do

 

Lastly, the fact that she started dressing the way she does young (I think her sister said around middle school) which is usually when you start discovering or at least developing your self and your sexual attraction. And the fact that she is from America where the stereotype of women who dress this way being a lesbian is strong means she knows good and damn well what message she gives off and continues to dress this way signaling (at least imo) that she doesn't care or that some of it rings true.

 

 

Now I could totally be wrong and she could be as straight as a ruler but with this stuff I think she is a lesbian and whether its true or not (which none of us know) the fact that I believe her to be a lesbian shouldn't be that huge a deal just as if I believed her to be straight.
