I liked Hyunsuk from the beginning but Yoonbin rose up real fast a few eps in, didn't ever think I'd end up wishing for Yoonbin before Hyunsuk but I did I'll really miss him in this group, really didn't expect to get so attached to him (and Mashi tbh, I noticed I became a bit indifferent about this final reveal the past two days but maybe that was just me preparing myself for the worst lol). With that being said, congrats Hyunsuk, you worked really hard to get here and you deserve it so I'm happy for you. And like many already said, he'll make a great leader too!

Well, almost 24 hours later and after watching some of Jaehyuk's fancams I'm a lot more calmed down, when the news broke out and I was reading the response here I literally typed up numerous messages but never posted them cuz although none of them were necessarily malicious towards Jaehyuk, it's not his fault or anything. I really hope he improves, I never paid much attention to him but I liked his mannerisms in some of the fancams I saw, I'm sure he'll work hard to get better before they debut. I'll still feel weird seeing them perform without Mashi though. I was so focused on Yoonbin before that I didn't realize just how much I wanted Mashiho in the group, he really was robbed. Hoping Yoonbin will be announced Friday, even though I actually dreamt Hyunsuk was chosen over Yoon last night (right before waking up for 6th member reveal lol, the distress I felt when I woke up lmao). As much as I love Hyunsuk, I don't really see him debuting in this group anymore if it's OT7. Some part of me is still hoping for OT8 (I think OT9 is a reach at this point, although realistically OT8 is too lol) and it's so annoying but I can't seem to shut the thought of a hidden member or surprises whatsoever lol even though I know I should prepare to be disappointed after Friday.

Ugh I'm gonna go to bed, it's gonna take a while for me to get over this and tbh without Yoonbin (and additional members at this point tbh) it's gonna take a LOT for me to actually stan this group. Hope Jaehyuk improves before debut I'll just leave it at that...

Congrats Jeongwoo! He blew many of us away the first episode and continued to grow (quite literally too lol) over a short amount of time so I can't wait to see how he'll continue to grow once they debut

Btw I wanted to quote you earlier as I was backtracking but there was so much to read so I kinda forgot lol but that post you wrote about this nightmare of a situation being torn between Hyunsuk and Yoonbin (I'm p sure it was you otherwise sorry ) but I just wanted to say I feel you on that one Although with what seems to be YG's vision for the group I think I'm also okay giving Hyunsuk up if Yoonbin makes it, but I still lowkey feel guilty about that.. This show really wrecked us all emotionally lol.

I agree, I think there are examples of groups with 9 members that work well so I would be okay with it, I'm both curious and worried how YG would manage such a group tbh lol I hope they can do it. When the show began I never imagined OT9 would even be considered but I'm like 99% sure they at least discussed it within the company with the members that became popular kinda by surprise. Def not 10> for me either, I normally stan small groups so it's more of a personal preference I guess, but I am a casual fan of Exo and they're with 9 so I guess it depends. As long as YB and Jeongwoo make it, if I'm not mistaken you want them to make it too right?

With regards to people saying that having a group of 7 members shouldn't be done bc iKON is also 7 and they would be too similar, Winner started out as 5 just like BB but they had a distinct vibe and sound, I think a lot of people generally say (whether then as 5 or now as 4) that Winner is different compared to the vibe other YG groups have. So I don't think it would be an issue as long as their sound is unique, which is why I do hope YG will try something new this time with a more youthful vibe, otherwise I can definitely see how people would draw too many comparisons and this would not work in the group's favor imo. I'm starting to be more and more convinced that OT9 needs to happen in order for my faves to make it though, and I would support that but just my two cents on having 7 members lol.

Yay, found this place as well I'm 22 so older! I'm actually curious when everybody here started to notice/stan him? For me I did notice him in the beginning, he seemed kinda cool/chill even though from what I've seen in vlive stuff he's a total cutie too lol. I really liked his rapping too once we got to hear a little bit more (on vlive too lol, probably would've stanned sooner if they didn't do him dirty cutting off his performances) but I didn't imagine him in the final lineup cuz I thought other members might be more popular, I feel like a bad fan lol but I'm so happy he was able to rise like he did, talent did that!

Never posted here but been lurking since the episodes started, only last weekend I was able catch up on the final 3 episodes, I avoided this thread for some weeks to avoid spoilers, but now with the final episode coming so soon I can't help myself checking in for spoilers Personally, I really hope GL will debut, I would love to see how YG would manage a more fresh, youthful group. Also, I really want Yoonbin to make it pls make it happen YG Like some others here I'd accept OT9 if it means Jeongwoo and Yoonbin can debut lol.

They're coming to Amsterdam omg trying to get tickets is going to be a struggle but I'm gonna try Also hoping they'll post lots of pictures in all the cities they attend although they probably won't have a lot of time, would still be awesome cuz their pics are always on point.

Also hi I haven't posted here much I always leave a comment and disappear for like 6 months but I'm excited for the comeback the little bit we heard so far sounds promising

My Korean is nowhere near good enough to understand everything, but most comments are saying how pretty the girls are and how cute Jennie was when she was scared/crying. The last one talks about Jennie and Rosé's waist mostly I think mostly praising their bodies. Rosé and Lisa's height was also mentioned a few times. I wish I had the time to learn more Korean lol but hope this helps a little bit.
