I would put Nayeon in the mascot category -- a role recently reintroduced into kpop by Crayon Pop's Soyul. Nayeon isn't the main vocal, isn't the main dancer, isn't the main rapper, isn't the main visual and isn't the leader despite being talented enough and having trained long enough to handle any of those roles. But she's probably the most compelling and memorable performer in the group, both because of her ability in addition to her appearance. She's the mascot! Oddly, Nayeon may or may not share the same birth date as Soyul. But that has nothing to do with anything.

Veloce, Badkiz, Peach Girl and BPPOP also scheduled to appear this month. Although, I guess live performances could be a little awkward right now if all Berry Good can do is the one song three different ways.

The idea of 0 schedules is kinda disingenuous as the internet does not discriminate against rookie groups. A little self-determination is a requirement in these situations. At least post the dance practice vids for gosh sakes. Also kinda disappointing is that since they're from a company that specializes in performing music live, they haven't been set up to do some live performances somewhere. Sure, Korea still not at full speed post-Sewol, but certainly they could get time at a horse track or something. And the right semi-pro fancam'er captures a performance, and they'll end up with more viewers than appearing on cable TV anyway.

Also, general nervousness and inexperience. If I remember correctly, that particular The Show: AllAboutKPop performance was their first time recording a TV performance -- it just aired a week after their live debut on M!Countdown. . After watching all the lives, I'd say Taeha and Nayeon have been the best, with Nayeon getting a slight edge because she looks to be having fun (maybe too much fun) which fits better here versus Taeha's somewhat robotic perfection. Then Kowoon, who might surpass all of them as she becomes more comfortable, stabilizing her voice some. Heck, it's already starting to happen in the last perfs. Finally, the messy rappers. And it's weird because they can be messy in completely opposite ways -- sometimes iera lacks a little energy while Subin should be banned from having caffeine. . The dance capability of this group is really intriguing. Intriguing in that they all appear to have ability (usually bad dancers in a group are easy to spot when they debut ), but the way they've toned down the interesting choreo from the MV points to them saving something, or hiding something.

Berry Good can't even get 2 minutes on Music Core this week. And they're not on stInkigayo's list for this week, either. Unless they've been hidden under the etc. Arirang's Simply K-Pop does have them on the schedule for today. Airtime 1300KST. Should be up on youtube immediately afterwards. And if you're in Korea, Berry Good is recording more Simply K-Pop performances on Monday.

Appearing on 6 music shows, it was a Berry Good week, indeed. And iera even got to perform her part on 4 5 of them. Well, I guess we can still look forward to iera's broadcast debut as a rapper. And who knows, one of these weeks they'll start making Music Bank again -- maybe -- so there's still a debut left to go! (Just a quick edit because I see they got an extra 30 seconds on Inkigayo. Made all the difference. )

The official site is going with iera for whatever that's worth. And MBCKpop uploaded their Show Champion performance. Looks like iera has disturbed some youtube commenters with her current thinness. She does seem thinner compared to the MV/jacket shoot. But having watched a lot of kpop, I'm not that shocked.

As for spelling their names, since Berry Good's official site has it spelled Subin, Taeha, iera (so it doesn't look like Lera ), Nayeon and Kowoon, just go with that. Untill, you know, they change their minds. Which could end happening as frequently as they change Nayeon's hair color.

Here's Berry Good's performance from Show Champion today. There's some big news... Nayeon no longer blond! TINT performed right before this, and I wonder if Lee Mirim might have been a little jealous as she had to suffer through blond hair for their entire debut promo while Nayeon got some really early relief.

Berry Good's Simply K-Pop was recorded on the 26th, and the show's airtime recently changed to Fridays 1300KST on Arirang, so it still has yet to air. Once it airs, it'll then be on youtube. Last week, Berry Good did record an appearance on SBSMTV's The Show -- it was their first TV recording -- and that aired yesterday: Last I saw, Berry Good is next scheduled to record/appear on MBCMUSIC's Show Champion today.

Newsen just posted pictures of Crayon Pop allegedly rehearsing for the SBS Gayo Daejun. So, if everything holds form, Crayon Pop will have appeared on KBS1, MBC and SBS today. That'll work.

Oddly enough, that's the dude responsible for Girl's Day's "Oh! My God" video that people accused Crayon Pop of borrowing from when they released "Saturday Night" as their debut promotion. And now... The circle of kpop.
