  1. Probably. Although, a couple of posts ago in this thread, I wondered why was ICIA was running around Korea performing Delight songs, and as it turns out, there was some sort of join venture between Bros Media (Delight's company) and Icia's company (along with Badkiz' company, but that's not relevant here). So why wasn't Delight running around performing their own songs? Goes back to 'probably' but you never know.
  2. If you felt like the was a little noisy, they went ahead and released another version: Choicho is a very interesting kpop vocalist. Anyway, Mad Soul Child literally still has their name all over this, so I'm assuming Rubber Soul has moved their stuff over to UMG's Happy Tribe Ent., as well.
  3. Hard to believe that appearing for ~0.3 seconds in Gray's TV commercial for Subway didn't cover all Nada's 4 years of expenses.
  4. It's been so long since HelloVenus released something, it's hard to compare (don't even remember bothering to check those Devine Channel buzz singles they did last year). Being in the 300's on the daily chart is about what a Berry Good or a Laboum usually does when Suzy doesn't mention them on Instagram. But it's early. That they're showing up on the search engines is nice. Now if Koreans like the song and find the choreo engaging, then they'll get going the right direction.
  5. HelloVenus does have a new publisher. It's something called "(주)ì¸í„°íŒŒí¬" which Google sez is an online shopping company, maybe. They released ASTRO's last album, as well. I see some Korean fans theorizing that if Fantagio was using a more traditional kpop publisher, it could be doing better on Melon or whatever. But after watching Korea's digital music market get kinda weird over the past couple of years along with the challenges' HelloVenus' fanbase has had to deal over an even longer period of time, I doubt that would significantly change anything in this case. "Mysterious" is #367 on MelOn's daily chart, btw.
  6. Brave Sound did a lot of charity work this past year, producing great songs for Nine Muses, Dalshabet, Stellar, along with their own Brave Girls and Cherrsee, all while generating very few sales in return. So it's understandable 2017 would start with Brave Sound trying to make some money. It was their exclusive work with AOA that allowed Brave Sound to move into their very own building. Hey (hey), if things go well enough, maybe they'll be able to offer Hyeran and Yujin a lil' something to make the crappy ordeal of nugu idol life a little more palatable.
  7. "Wassup" not nearly in the same level of nugu obscurity as the song was fairly notorious among a certain part of the Korean population back in 2013. I mean, pretty sure the military was using it as part of their marching drills. And also, Nada. Anyway, still nothing on Delight or even just Yeondu. Last year she at least showed up on a random as Tae Jinah's opening act.
  8. With the first member changes, that they took a group that was fairly young already and managed to make them 9 years younger, it appeared age was a driving factor there. Sure they got taller and added some marketing nepotism, but Taeha's comments at the time about how she was sure she was too old to be kept sorta confirm it. Fortunately for Taeha, I guess they needed at least one girl around who knew what she was doing. That they've gone ahead a couple years later and added a girl who's now their second oldest (and generally on the old side among girls debuting this year in groups similar to Berry Good), they're either trying to fix something quickly, or her dad's initials are JTG.
  9. They barely updated their SNS when they were active. The only not really interesting thing that has happened recently is this other nugu group called Icia (formerly SIDA which apparently is like Korean for AIDS ) went around during the summer covering Delight's last single "ë‚´ê°€ ì—†ëƒ!" for some unknown reason. Sure, it's a good song, but nugu groups don't usually get ahead with the public by covering songs from other nugu groups. But I haven't really cared enough to see if there was some sort of connection here. I'll include some off-topic fancams if anyone cares.
  10. So... because so many people were stalking her, presumably because of her looks... she decided she might as well become a celebrity. That's some significant degree of difficulty for a high concept comedy bit right there. I wonder if this was Seunghee's idea.
  11. Well, in the autumn of 2015, they were preparing to release their 2nd mini album, when they didn't. At the start of 2016, Da-ae, Yoha and Hyuna were no longer in the group and CMEnt were holding auditions for new girls. Now they are getting ready to finally release that 2nd mini album with main vocal Nara now the leader of the group: If you go to the facebook page linked in this thread, you can see the new girls practicing in the old outfits. Anyway, kinda random but in February, Nara appeared in one of those KBS 7080 concerts to sing a duet with Lee Sangwoo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBNehHhsquI Is Lee Sangwoo her father!? Nara's pretty good, but so were the former members. Probably Yoha was too old and Hyuna too much of a proportions thug for the Nara's-our-last-hope dynamic that's obviously going on here. Wish them the best. Hopefully something more like "ì‹«ì€ë°ìš”" is coming soon.
  12. If Skull & Haha feature on the track as artists, it'll most likely be at the beginning of the track, as an intro of sorts where they spout out some random summery reggae jibberish, mon. And then the girls take over. It's pretty common. Brave Sound, JYP, ... Even Apink had that one track they almost promoted that "featured" Beast's Junhyung spouting off some nonsense at the beginning before disappearing. More of a concern is that a reggae concept might be perceived by the kpop audience as a "me too" move considering there currently is a girl group reggae concept that is dominating the realtime charts at the moment. Kinda dampens Oh My Girl's run of creative offerings -- but screw being creative if it me-too's them to a number #1!
  13. Recently, maybe from promo. Originally, maybe this ubiquitous 80's club hit/soundtrack staple.
  14. There's probably some deep symbolism involved with Hyojung and Binnie taking off their right shoes while wearing green outfits.
  15. Not exactly the first time Hyojung wobbled into a performance of "Closer": That's an automatic .9 points deduction.
  16. Watching Show Champion right now, and it's raining so hard in Ulsan, if Oh My Girl did go there, maybe they just turned around and went back home.
  17. Apparently Show Champion is doing a concert in Ulsan, and Oh My Girl are listed on the poster: But they aren't listed on the set list. So, TBD. Or, ì¶œì—°ì§„ì€ ìƒí™©ì— ë”°ë¼ ë³€ê²½ë 수 있습니다.
  18. This CinD vocal is very interesting. And she might not even be old enough to get into a club.
  19. Yeah, just started to happen to me, too. SME is Sony Music Entertainment, so I guess 7-1 has recently signed with them or something. And if that is in fact the case, as a fan of groups that were under Sony.kr like Wa$$up and Wings, things are going to get very annoying.
  20. Always questioned Playback's decision to after she had left the group because, it just wasn't the same.
  21. That Mnet PRODUCE101 thing uploaded more profiles: http://www.mnet.com/tv/vod/170822
