I was looking for more Hyunsuk receipts and I found another CIX member. Seunghun saying a male actor is his husband and gushing about him in PM. Also him telling CIX fans not to get jealous when he mentioned another (male) actor he liked. The man Seunghun asked if he could kiss is Donghyun Kim, an MMA fighter. Him wanting a kiss on the lips. He also said his ideal type is someone with an actor-like face.

The original pann post is full of people asking the OP what they’re talking about and giving evidence that the other members are also being promoted by the company, but that won’t get y’all talking, I guess.

Maybe when CIX’s contract with Warner Music Korea is up C9 will change them to KakaoM or CJ E&M/Stone Music, but tbh I don’t really see that happening. It might affect their contract with Warner Music Japan if they’re connected and CIX puts out Japanese releases between their Korean albums, so it’s smarter to stick with a bigger Japanese company. Youtube views are important for winning music shows, yes, but Numb had issues because C9 bought ads for the video for the same time that fans bought ads, so Youtube froze the views for a long time and then deleted them. Then there was a copyright strike on the video. Numb and Hello Strange Place did better physically and digitally than Hello Stranger, it was only the Youtube views that were lacking and there was a reason for that. Maybe I’s performance for The Eye wasn’t on CIX’s channel or Stone/1theK but it hit 1M in less time than Numb did.

Contracts. CIX is distributed by Warner Music Korea. It says Warner Music Korea on their albums. Poetic Narrator (also from C9) is distributed by KakaoM. I think Younha’s albums are KakaoM too. That’s why you’d see their videos on 1theK. Cignature is distributed by CJ E&M and that’s why they’re under Stone Music. CIX being under Warner Music Korea means they won’t have their videos on Stone or 1theK but they get promoted by the larger Warner Music family of international labels like Warner Music Japan, which handles their Japanese releases and seems to be doing well on that front, Warner Music Taiwan, and etc. It’s not about C9’s connections, it’s about how C9 is planning on promoting them.

There have been debuts announced but I guess they’re pretty nugu. There’s Ateam girls, Mystic girls, and C9 Girlz coming. Top Media has MCND this year, YG has already announced Treasure, and the post-X1 groups that are going to undoubtedly debut this year while everyone is feeling bad for the boys. I can see Starshipz, Woollimz, BDC + Eunsang, and maybe Pocketdolz all either having an official debut this year or a soft debut with a few songs here and there and a fanmeeting tour.

Brand New Music definitely because not only do they have AB6IX and BDC, but they have other well-known artists who are known for topping charts. They’re really establishing their name by having inter-company collabs and a “family” concert which I notice many mid-tier and higher companies do. To me, mid-tier companies don’t only have a known boy group but also other established artists. Woollim had Infinite but also Nell and Epik High before Infinite debuted. Jellyfish had VIXX, Park Hyoshin, Seo Inguk, and Sung Sikyung. C9 has other artists like Cheetah, Lee Seokhoon, and Younha (who have all done decently on the charts with their recent releases), and are about to debut a new girl group and a co-ed duo in 2020 so I’d say it depends on how well their artists do next year. I don’t know about KQ. As far as I’m aware, they only have Ateez unless Block B are considered KQ artists too?

All that matters is both names passing the Google test. It was nearly impossible to search for Good Day related content because it’s both a generic English phrase and a very famous Korean song.

My opinion on Wanna One members sexualities based on how they've acted post-disbandment (and post-the need to play up ships for fans): Jisung - Suspicious, I still think he's not straight but I can't really explain why. It's just a feeling. Sungwoon - He doesn't seem straight to me. As LGBTQ+ people know, we tend to flock to other LGBTQ+ individuals. Even if everyone in the friend group is not out to each other at first, over time people slowly realize that they're not straight. There are members in the famous Padding Squad that come off as not straight and there are other close friends of his that have had their moments. He's been an idol since 2014 and there hasn't been a moment where he has seemed interested in a woman. The thing with Sungwoon is that he's very friendly, but he is also very focused on his career. He doesn't do things that might upset his fans. When he has to interact with women, he keeps it very professional and he's very smart in that he knows the right things to say so that his words can't be misinterpreted. Only because of the people he surrounds himself with do I think he's not straight, but other than that I don't have an opinion. Minhyun - I haven't really been following NU'EST so I have no idea. Ong - No idea. Jaehwan - Straight. Daniel - Straight. He seems very comfortable with himself and his sexuality to the point where he's not afraid to point out how attractive another man is, but nothing comes off as not straight to me. Jihoon - Gay. Woojin - Straight. Jinyoung - Possibly bi due to things he's done before the disbandment, but if I only knew post-disbandment Jinyoung, I wouldn't have an opinion in either direction. Jinyoung is in the same camp as Sungwoon to me where he's friendly, but he's also very focused on his career. He doesn't want to do things that might upset fans. There's been his pre-debut posts about Kyulkyung and he has acted weird around her when Wanna One and Pristin were promoting at the same time and at award shows, but that could be chalked up to the fact that fans know about his Facebook posts about her (for a time if you searched her name on Naver, his name would come up in the suggestions and vice versa). Daehwi - Gay. Guanlin - No idea. He doesn't promote in Korea much and he's currently focused on his career and occasionally dealing with Cube's bullshit. There are a lot of men he greatly admires and he's not afraid to show it for fear that it might come off the wrong way.

AB6IX: Daehwi's the most obvious and Woong is suspicious. I can write an essay about those two but I think they've already been covered in this thread. CIX: They don't have much content and they're all still getting to know each other so there's some natural awkwardness between the members. Jinyoung has had plenty of suspicious moments with AB6IX Daehwi and Park Jihoon. There's also a video going lowkey viral right now on twitter of him falling in love with Jimin. There's also Seunghun who has a weird obsession with Jinyoung's butt. A once in a while ass slap is one thing, but every morning? But honestly it could mean nothing. BX seems very affectionate to people he's close to like AB6IX Woong, Treasure13 Hyunsuk, and D1CE Woo Jinyoung, but nothing that comes off as suspicious. There's not a lot of content on the group so I really don't know.

That rainbow Burberry shirt seems to be a trend in Korea right now. I've seen quite a few idols wearing it and some have been gifted it by fans, so I'm not entirely sure the idols themselves know the meaning behind it or if they're wearing it to purposely show support for the LGBT community, but at least it's going to a good cause.

This is surprising to me. I'm not a LOVE so I don't know much about him pre-Wanna One, but fans usually dig up everything they can about the members (so I know about a few WO members' past relationships and of course rumors here and there) but I haven't heard much about Minhyun. It's kinda dangerous for an idol to have a motae solo image if it's not true because it's so easily debunked with how much kfans investigate into their private lives and they just come off as liars but I know fans keep things to themselves to protect the image of their bias. Strange that YMC made him have that image when everyone else freely admitted to dating in the past. Because I know him from Wanna One activities and only a few Nu'est things I've watched on Youtube, I've just always assumed he had no interest in girls at all. I don't have a lot of evidence backing it up so I don't talk about it here, but he just gives off that vibe.

This might be because Jihoon is too shy around him due to his crush. I've seen Jihoon blush at Donghan pulling him close, Daniel holding his hand, Guanlin pretending to kiss him, Minhyun interacting with him, Taehyung being in his general vicinity, and now a male fan talking to him. He definitely gets shy easily (just look at any time he has to act cute) but I don't think I've ever seen him get the way he gets in those moments I've mentioned previously when he's around female celebrities or female fans. He's a good actor who can hide his emotions well enough most of the time, but he can't hide how red his face gets when he's embarrassed or shy (and he can get really red). I'm 100% convinced he's gay. The only thing that made me think otherwise before was him at 9 or 10 years old admitting to having a crush on a girl he couldn't stop staring at when he was on Star Golden Bell but I admit it's not unusual for a gay person to have a crush or two on members of the opposite sex at a young age.

I think it's just because he finds them attractive. If it was really a "recognizing his own" thing where he can tell they're LGBT, I think he would mention Daehwi too, even if it's in a "I think he has a bright future" way as to not out him. On the topic of Daehwi, I find it interesting that he's the only WO member who is open about his friendship with female idols. Everyone knows about how close he is to Somi and Twice. Sungwoon is friends with like everyone and a few female idols have mentioned that they're his friend or they became friends with someone else through him. Cao Lu has mentioned Daniel a few times but he always makes sure to talk about her as his senior in the industry. Even Jisung who takes pictures with females in a friendly way (he doesn't do the manner/hover hand and he's not afraid to get close to them in a picture) as far as I'm aware has never once mentioned being close to a female celebrity. But Daehwi has talked about how close he is to Somi and Twice, hugged Somi after the final episode of Produce 101, and said "Twice, I love you" during Weekly Idol without fearing people would take it the wrong way. Maybe it's because he's so young and he has a cute image that he believes other people will understand that he's like a brother to them, but it reminds me a lot of how Key and Heechul never really felt the need to clarify that they were just friends when they talked about their friendships with female idols. I remember when I was younger when I wondered why there was never any dating rumors between Key and Nicole even though they seemed to be really close and spent a lot of time together, and even though I thought Key was gay at that time, I still wondered why MCs who always tried to create a dating rumor between idols for laughs never tried that when Key talked about Nicole or Soyou. In a lot of ways Daehwi reminds me of Key, even though Daehwi seems to be a lot more secure with himself and savvy than Key was during his rookie years, so I found this similarity between them very interesting.

I didn't mean to project. I just wanted to explain why I (and maybe other people who feel the same way) don't take the way Minhyun acts with Jinyoung to be a sign of attraction. It could absolutely be projection on my part but I don't wish to speculate that an adult is attracted to a child, especially when Minhyun does things like hug and kiss him.

Because Baejin is 17 years old and Minhyun is 22. At least for me, it's not in favor of any ship. my perception of them is based on Minhyun being an adult and Jinyoung being a minor, so I see him as being a protective older brother. He acts a similar way with Woojin too and it just comes off as brotherly.

A genuine question here: Has there ever been a male idol who danced with Hyuna and looked even a little thirsty? I remember during the Troublemaker era when people made jokes about Hyunseung being the only male in the world who could do all that with her and not be the slightest aroused. People said a similar thing about E'Dawn and Hui working so closely with her during Triple H promotions.

I don't see it as anything else but brotherly affection. Might have to do with the fact that Jinyoung is the same age that Minhyun was when he debuted, so he might feel more protective and affectionate towards him. Plus, there was a military guy during PD101 time who talked about how Jinyoung looked a bit weak/frail which might bring out the protective instinct in women as well as men which he thought explained why Jinyoung had quite a few fanboys in the military.

As people have already told you, the general consensus is that Daehwi is gay so there's no need to add any extra discussion about him. I think his relationship with Jinyoung doesn't cause more discussion here because 1) a lot of what Wanna One does is fanservice 2) people don't really pay attention to Jinyoung to determine if what they have is just a close friendship or something more 3) they're minors so it can feel a bit weird to speculate what they are to each other.
