  1. jungwoo is really tryna take over ten's place as nct's most "out there" member i think taeyong's reaction was probably the most suspect thing about this moment tho like mark and jaehyun didn't have to expose him like that Click here to view the Tweet
  2. wow ok... that's pretty interesting if someone has the original full video, please link me!
  3. true. jimin has gotten so much more comfortable in his own skin since debut, which i think has more to do with him overcoming his body dysmorphia (tho i still worry about him sometimes), than coming to terms with his sexuality. jimin seems less bothered with his height, in fact he seems to actually embrace his more feminine qualities, like having a smaller frame and a higher voice than the others. this could be an indicator about his sexuality. i kinda disagree about the fashion though. while the dangly earrings and big sweaters might seem like a stark contrast to the hypermasculine image he had early on, i think this actually just shows how the trends have changed within the last couple years. jimin has great style, but he isn't exactly very experimental or radical with his fashion. he usually just wears whatever is popular. to bring up namjoon again, i definitely feel like his skirt collection deserves to be mentioned here. now THAT is radical.
  4. same i only recently found her channel but she's so funny! and when i saw that she makes videos for girl groups too i smashed that subscribe button with the speed of light. i have no idea why someone negged you when you're literally just stating your own opinion. i disagree about the namjoon and jimin part, but then again my perception of them is constantly changing. when i first joined the fandom in 2014 i thought of rm as the straightest member and jimin as the gayest, but over time i realized that was mostly because my own preconceived and internalized notions about how masculinity and femininity relates to gayness. jimin could definitely be gay, but i just don't see it anymore. even in this video he says "guys don't kiss" at 4:17 to jhope... i think he definitely enjoys male attention, but attraction??? idk man. namjoon on the other hand? has a whole book of receipts lmao. at first i, like everyone else, just thought he was a very chill ally, but now it's gotten to the point where even straight fans are doing a double take at some of the stuff he says.
  5. this is a cool compilation of some of bts' more suspect moments enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLI6fVl7ZRk i'm fucking LOSING it at 1:36 sdbfgdghfgf namjoon please i still think taehyung (gay), yoongi (bi) and namjoon (bi) are the only members who like men, but all of them have enough suspicious moments for you to make a point about them being somewhere on the kinsey scale, so make up your own mind.
  6. can we stop pretending like xiumin looks younger than he really is? he is 27 and he looks 27, not a day younger. sure he has nice skin, but that doens't mean he looks like a teenager. he is a grown ass man and he looks the part too. i just really don't understand why exo fans feel the need to constantly infantilize him.
  7. same she literally screams lesbian to me! i have no idea why people here are so adamant about her being straight or "bi curious at most" like first off all... her relationship with kim saeron is REALLY suspect with all the soulmate and boyfriend and girlfriend stuff they've said, but people just brush it under the rug because they're young. also tbh i've just never seen yeri show any signs of interest in guys.
  8. i know someone just got (rightfully) dragged for posting that "jaeyong" birthday kiss, and i don't wanna make this into another shipping debate, but i'm taking my chances lol Click here to view the Tweet "it's been a long time since i received a kiss from taeyong hyung" + the fact that jaehyun was visibly flustered... inch resting 👀
  9. i didn't mean to insult you, but i realize the fanfic part came off as a personal attack, so sorry about that. i just thought it was really random to say "this happens all the time in asian dramas" as proof that it would be the same case with jikook. anyways lets just agree to disagree and move on.
  10. we already knew yoongi was #Woke but it's nice to see him actually get the opportunity to talk about the things that are important to him karl marx whomst???? i only know min yoongi the idea of a namgi side project literally has me SHAKING @bighit give the gays what we want!!
  11. first off, there's a difference between calling someone "brother" and "hyung" and actually comparing them to your real life biological little brother that you've grown up with. that said, i DO take jungkook's words at face value too. jungkook was so young when he first came to seoul, and he was a long way from home. the other boys took him under their wing and more or less raised him from he was like 14 untill now. how would it not make sense for him to see them as his family? but lmaooooo at you bringing in drama tropes someone's read one too many fanfics
  12. this is SO on point thank you! i mean, jimin has literally said outright that jungkook reminds him of his little brother. people equating that brotherly affection to romantic/sexual feelings is just.....weird imo.
  13. Click here to view the Tweet tell me this isn't a big fat gay mood
  14. jeno and jaemin wildin on their vlive AGAIN Click here to view the Tweet this is so funny because renjun is literally like
  15. posting about the dreamies always feels a bit weird, but these two ping me so hard. i know a lot of people will probably brush their skinship off as them just being young, but both of them are 17, it's not like they're 13 anymore... idk if there's anything there but it's still cute to see them act so lovey dovey x the way they were sitting when mark filmed them is really cute too (from 0:50)
  16. yeah i didn't mean that their main objective in moving away and trying their luck as idols was to hook up (though that's probably a plus), but literally just to get out. being stuck in a conservative small town when you're gay can feel extremely suffocating. i literally chose my major when i was 15 (specializing starts really early here) just so that i would HAVE TO move away from my family to study, since the local schools didn't give that option. i knew that if i stayed i'd probably kill myself. and it worked. just by moving to a bigger city and living with other teenagers, i felt an enourmous weight lifted off my shoulders. the overall attitude towards homosexuality was so different that it drastically changed my self esteem. by living away from my parents (much like these idols) i could also explore my sexuality in a safe enviorment. getting out of the expectations of marriage and filial duty is of course another big plus for idols.
  17. sorry for dragging this out, it's just too funny to let go! can you believe that busan, the second highest populated province of korea, with over 3 and a half million inhabitants, is completely extinct of any lgbt people??? it's truly a mystery how this came to be this kinda reminds me of how that chechen leader claims that gay people literally do not exist nor have EVER existed in chechenya (after years of systematically hunting down and executing gay people...) like LMFAO what kinda logic? but since we're on the topic of geographic affiliation, i definitely think there's something interesting to be said about it in relation to lgbt issues. lets look at a site called the geography of hate which maps out the concentration of homophobic sentiment across the us. it shouldn't come as a big surprise to anyone that the southern states are generally the most hateful. this phenomenon isn't exclusive to usa either. you can just google "rural homophobia" and you'll find thousands of academic research papers and autobiographies about how difficult it is to grow up gay in a rural place. conservative ideas are generally way more prominent in the countryside. i can attest to that from my own experience. even in norway, which is considered to be one of the most progressive countries in the world, it's definitely not easy growing up gay in a small town. i've personally seen the isolation and the hatred bring kids to take their own lives, and i've felt that same hopelessness and loneliness almost kill me. there's a reason most queer people flee to big cities as soon as we have the chance. this is why i suspect there are more lgbt people among idols than the general public. especially for kids from small towns who want nothing more than to get out, the kpop industry gives them that exact opportunity, since almost every entertainment company is in seoul.
