  1. I like how his friend shuts him down. He looks so intimidating, but....
  2. He did say that he turned down a lot of dramas to be on this show. I honestly feel like he'd rather do music than acting, but like most of the Chinese talent shows go, 9 out of 10 of the popular contestants end up in acting. Having a solid music career is hard and he was in talent shows before, that's why he already has a lot of fans, I guess he wants to sustain that and this is the best platform for him.
  3. The suspense is genius actually... 1. Get Cai Xukun's throngs of fangirls to tune in next week 2. Get Justin & Jung Jung's throngs of fangirls to tune in next week 3. Get people who are just curious about Fan Bing Bing's baby brother to tune in next week
  4. I mean I'm surprised to even see them there, are they involved in music? I know this guy writes his own songs and has mvs out, but if he wanted to pursue both an acting and singing career, why did he sign with Huayi? Yes, all the ones that come out together are from one agency
  5. I love the comedians (that giant is so goofy), I love Cai Xukun's #1 fanboy and I love the poor baby that had to sit next to the Yuehua boys, just wanted to pet him and tell him it's all right. Princes of Dubai comment @ the Banana Culture boys had me rolling
  6. don't recall, there were so many names flying around, these celebrities are probably either from the same company or was in a drama/movie with one of them
  7. Just found out Jeffrey was in a BL drama. I feel like half these guys are on the show to prime themselves for an acting career, because a lot of these companies aren't primarily music companies
  8. He definitely has presence I'll give him that....I am kind of loving his #1 fanboy
  9. I was just watching the intros and knew I saw one of them recently, finally figured out he was in Where the Lost Ones Go The guy from Huayi Bros. must have also been in movies or dramas, the Yuehua boys are likely also. no wonder some individuals have so much celebrity support. Also remember the 2 that were in Rap of China.
  10. From Ex Files 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPxs1Ql16F8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FykvsOyu3TQ
  11. Didn't really know who she was before, but I just finished watching Where the Lost Ones Go and both her and Fan Shi Qi did a beautiful job.
  12. Right now trying to juggle Tribes & Empires, Nirvana in Fire 2 and Where the Lost Ones Go
  13. Only if fans of a certain person on the show is willing to sub it, otherwise no, they don't care to export their entertainment outside of China. For instance if Luhan did not join Running Man China or Lay for Go Fighting, we probably would not have subs for those shows.
  14. Heard A Love So Beautiful is pretty popular online, main girl is also the new Shan Cai in Meteor Garden remake.
  15. Since everyone is talking about movies.....holy shit @ Wolf Warriors 2. I always felt there is not enough new Chinese action stars, kudos to Wu Jing who went from getting small villain roles to starring and directing the highest grossing movie in Chinese history. I mean with so many Shao Lin discipes, why is there such a lack of young martial arts stars? All the well known ones are way past their prime, we are in desperate need of some young blood with some actual skills. With the bombing of The Great Wall and huge success of this home grown action flick, I wonder what changes we will see in the movie industry there. Already reading articles about Hollywood studios rethinking their strategy for joint flicks that appeal to both audiences to instead create Chinese movies for Chinese audiences. Yes, she does have a dance background
  16. King's Avatar (Chinese) if you are into ESports fantasy action
  17. Both Viki and DF are going to air The King's Woman tomorrow, I love Dilraba and Zhang Bin Bin, but I can already tell it'll probably end tragically and I'm already so drained from all the other historicals. I need a cute modern drama. Also really want to watch Wuxin: The Monster Killer 2, but no subs yet. I can't think that far back, but I really like When a Snail Falls in Love (same author as Love Me If You Dare), Ode to Joy 1 & 2 (it's a very realistic modern drama, but it's not for those who want pure romance), Dr. Qin Medical Examiner (forensics) and Wuxin: The Monster Killer, because I really like Zhang Ruo Yun, and lately been enjoying The Eternal Love which is a ridiculous cheap web drama with Ye Qi from Princess Agents, but I still prefer Go Princess Go which is an even more ridiculous, more low budget web drama that's highly addictive.
  18. My new jam!!!! I really wish there was an easier way to find out abut new Chinese music, I don't follow the charts. Found this through a Chinese entertainment news program.
  19. Movie just came out and it's a completely different vibe
  20. He is a straight up lunatic if you watch him on varieties, but all his songs are so gut wrenching and depressing. It's like he's bipolar or something.
