  1. Yes that thought has occured to me and is fairly worrying. I feel like YZJ has a long lasting career tho, his voice is perfect for all those osts. TBH, Kun has always struck me as very smart, you know. He has been the other member in addition to yzj who has constantly been putting out music, and his lack of variety kind of adds to that mysterious image, you know? I hope he finds a company, honestly.

I feel like what Nong and Chengcheng are doing with acting is also a good plan to last long.

Off topic, but does anyone know if the perfect restaurant is beong subbed? I can't find subs anywhere

Kun has his studio, he doesn't need a company. He's been handling his own stuff pretty well by the looks of it. I've always seen him as very calculating (not in a bad way). I guess it's because of all the things he had to experience making it into SWIN, being stuck in a horrible contract with no future prospects and then getting hit with that lawsuit at such a young age when he decided to leave. He can't afford any missteps if he wants a long and successful music career. Most of these talent show winners in China go onto acting and never return to music, a handful will put out a single every once in a while or sing an OST.

  2. They probably saw the questions over the sudden LZN+WZ bromance and ended it as quickly as it begun.

Speaking of riots, there's one happening rn over LZN's #2 ranking.

Not just the fans of the Jonghyun-ed trainees

but the fans of the trainees who consistenly ranked in the top 5 and suddenly dropped to the bottom ranks were also pissed.

    Even SZ's fans were pissed.

They say that his current ranking is questionable bc he has fewer Weibo followers compared to the other trainees.

There are also rumours that aside from iQiyi and BG, Netease also helped push him bc their mascot is a koala.

Is this what Ciwen Entertainment's boss was bitching about? I also saw somewhere about people cropping out both Zhenning and Mingming from group pictures....so petty. I dunno, after Retreat I noticed plenty of support for Zhenning, most of them made him their one pick unlike some of the other originally popular members who a lot of people liked, but not as their main pick.

  3. some of the trainees doing the shotgun choreo in Blackpink's Kill this Love

    ===

It also trended during its airing (Mnet's positivet twt, XLH joke to ZYX and Jolin's mentor collab perf) but it trended the most at the finale.

I said I won't be surprised and that he would very likely get in

    Very likely =/= 100% datassplz.png

BIGPINK was a thing during the course of the competition, it just wasn't in the episodes, they garnered quite a following

They really should make their debut since Lian Huaiwei didn't make the lineup either

Heck, OUTMAN should debut too, I need to see Ye Zeming on stage again. They could totally do just as well as UNINE

  4. awwww

TBH tho I have a lot less worries for these boys about after they disband because they have undeniably set up strong individual fanbases

I wish Kun was there, I just want to see ot9

Yes, even though most fans are very upset about the lack of group activities, I feel they are very well positioned by broadening their individual exposure at a time before this whole rush of boy groups. If it's successful in the long run, only time will tell. Sometimes I feel like some of them are being overexposed in varieties and people might get sick of them once the interest wears off. I've heard some say that Kun has a better plan of focusing more on the music and limiting the number of variety shows to participate in. Very interested to see how far each of them will go in the future.

  5. I was on Wikipedia and saw them list the members like this

    Guan Yue

    Li Wenhan

    Li Zhenning

    Yao Mingming

    Xia Hanyu

    He Changxi

    Hu Chunyang

    Chen Youwei

    Jia Yi

Normally Wiki does it by age order so are you telling me that Guanyue is older than Wenhan? And Zhenning is the 3rd oldest? WTH, I thought he'll be the 2nd youngest after Chunyang (Zhenning has such a baby face)! I know Jiayi is young but I didn't expect him to be the youngest of the bunch.

Can someone list their birthdays to confirm this because my mind is blown.

Even the ones younger than Hu Chunyang baby him so maybe that's why it'll seem like there's not many younger than he is

  6. That's true. I believe NPC will remain the top group in their remaining 6 months (with TFBOYS as the other top group for like, forever lol), so IMO the real exciting time for some competition would be after NPC disbands. At that time we'll have debuting groups from QCYN and Produce Camp competing with each other, not to mention those 2 groups from AFO too (though maybe not that much), and maybe WayV will finally get some traction.

I am watching Produce Camp as we speak....what is wrong with me?

  7. You guys, maybe it's possible they weren't allowed to go overboard with the vote buying this year, because the authorities frowned upon it after PD101 China and most of the votes from last year were contributed by the boxes and boxes of Nongfu Spring Vitamin Water. I haven't actually seen anyone bragging about the amount of milk drinks (votes) bought for this last round unlike for the previous rounds.
