  To my knowledge, Electronic Dance Music (EDM) is an umbrella term used to encompass and reference dub-step, garage, house, juke, moombahton, electroclash, breakbeat, and many other styles of electronic/ dance based music. However, members of this forum have a tendency to use the term EDM as a means to showcase their dislike for dub-step and house.

The term EDM is horrendously misused and defined on this forum....

  It's an album that has a specif theme, story, process, or content. For example, The Getty Address by The Dirty Projectors revolves around the life, antics, and influence of Don Henley (musician). All the records on The Getty Address revolved around Don Henley. Bjork also released a conceptual full length in Biophilia. However, Biophillia differs from The Getty Address because the concept at hand is her creative process and strictly playing instruments through an Ipad.

Mess... It's understandable that Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul would be uncomfortable with her comment concerning suicide. Alori Joh (Ab-Soul's girlfriend) and longtime collaborator of The Black Hippy Crew took her life a few years ago. Wondering whether Sza is familiar with the history and past collaborators of Black Hippy. Dope!

  Anamanaguchi are always tons of fun!!! One of my favorite acts to see in a live setting. They're all incredibly funny and sweet.      Welcome back Brooke! We've missed seeing you in the thread. Hunger Pangs by Cakes Da Killa has been on heavy rotation since the release. He has such an aggressive, energetic, and lively style. I'm a much bigger fan of his music in comparison to Blanco and Le1f. I'm digging the new alt-j record but they haven't gotten accustomed to their current line up without Gwil.
