Ah, thanks for clarifying! It makes sense that those changes would be hard for him, Insoo always seemed to be really reserved and not the type of person who could adjust really rapidly to being in a new group that was already really close and had its own way of doing things. It makes me really sad though to think that he was put in a position where there wasn't really a positive outcome for him at all, especially since he's a sweetheart and has been through a lot already. And yeah, I know I shouldn't be too sad about it since it's just how survival shows are, but I can't help but feel that they could've organized things a bit more...fairly? So that Insoo at least would've had a slightly better chance of making it through. Like if they'd put him in Green or Red he could've done well (especially Green since he would actually have something to contribute to the unit). I just don't understand why the masters put him in Sky since in hindsight there was no way he was going to fit there. (I'm sorry I just miss Insoo a lot, I spent most of this past weekend crying about his elimination.)

I don't think they lack visuals though? Like maybe it's just because Inho's one of my biases but personally I think he's beautiful (in addition to being extremely talented), and Sungho and Inpyo are both cute too. Sungho just looks like Hyunseung from Beast tbh, and since he's a rapper I don't think he necessarily would be held to the same ~pretty boy~ standards as everyone else. And Inpyo might not be as conventionally attractive as people like Jaehyun or Doha, but he's got stage presence and knows how to put on a sexy performance. I personally think they should have a range of guys in the group, because visuals alone don't necessarily guarantee the group will be successful (especially if some of the visuals are lacking in talent). And I really don't think Inho's personality is too "extra" to be in an idol group. There's plenty of other idols with similar personalities that have managed to be successful in groups: Jo Kwon in 2AM, Park Jungmin in SS501, Key in Shinee, to name a few. Inho's shown multiple times on the show that he's a good leader and team player, he's worked to showcase his unit member's strengths, and he's willing to take risks to make his group stand out. Having a flamboyant personality doesn't necessarily mean that he wouldn't work well in an idol group. If anything, it might attract more fans to the group, because groups that consist only of mild-mannered pretty people are kinda boring. Just my opinion though.

Yeah, I read somewhere that when the producers were asking Insoo who he was going to pick for elimination, he said that Unit Sky was already fine with all of its original members and that there wasn't a place for him there (and then started crying). I'm not 100% sure if it's true, but it does make sense. Insoo's a sweetheart and I think he felt really uncomfortable in Sky; he looked so out-of-place in their behind the scenes stuff, and during their Candy performance there's a part where he has the most pained smile on his face. I think he knew they probably weren't going to pick him. Putting him in Sky was such an awful decision and it breaks my heart that no matter how well he did, the chances of him making it through were so slim. I do think that if they'd put Inho or maybe even Hocheol in Unit Sky, they would've had a better chance of making it than Insoo did. Inho is pure talent, both vocally and dancing-wise, and he's also super popular; having him in Unit Sky would've been completely to their advantage, especially if he picked Youngkwon for elimination (which he probably would have). Hocheol also would've done well with the type of songs that Sky performs (and especially with something cute like Candy), and again, he's much more charismatic and popular than Youngkwon (and has a decent voice).

I'm still annoyed about that to be honest, I really liked Taedong and feel like he could've been really popular if they'd given him more screen time (he's a good dancer and super cute, probably my favorite visual from the show). I miss him.

After watching the behind-the-scenes footage of the revival guys moving in to their new dorm rooms, I kind of feel like Insoo was really mismatched personality-wise with Unit Sky as well as being mismatched with the type of performances they're good at. He's such a quiet and reserved kid, even in Unit Blue's behind-the-scenes stuff he was always kind of in the background, so it was probably really hard for him to adjust to new people. Especially since Unit Sky is very close-knit already, and none of the Unit Sky members are really "we welcome you with open arms" type of people. (I don't mean that in a bad way, just that they are all really loyal to each other.) Does anyone else remember how Sangmin said (before Insoo's audition in episode 2) that he hoped Insoo would do well? Because I keep thinking about that and it's making me cry. I'm happy Sangmin got to stay because he's worked so hard to try and improve himself and his unit, but at the same time Insoo was one of my three absolute favorites so seeing him eliminated hurts a lot. (Especially since he's such a sweet kid.)

Am I the only one super excited by Insoo potentially being in Unit Sky? He and Hwayoung are my absolute favorites so having them both in the same team is a dream come true for me lol. And I think having him in Unit Sky will be beneficial, he's not only a good rapper but also an energetic performer so I think he'll make them a stronger team overall. I do wish Sangmin could've stayed though.
