I'm seriously so sad and frustrated that my mom never taught me spanish. I feel like I have to 'prove' being Hispanic to everyone when I tell them I am by speaking spanish fluently. I'm trying my best to speak it, but my anxiety gets the better of me! I can write it decently but.....ugh. Living in a city where it is mostly populated w/ Latinos, I just feel so isolated because I can't speak Spanish fluently despite me being Hispanic myself!! It makes me want to cry

Y did my mom have to invite my cousins? it is so awkward whenever I interact w/ them. Also the little cousin is irritating at times

UGH I'm trying to respond to a prompt in 300 words or less. It was so easy for me but since it's summer I literally forgot and I keep exceeding the limit cause I'm trying to write it essay style!! FML Summer reading needs to stop

Any advice for writing a 300 word response? I'm responding to a question prompt that asks which passage in a book i'm reading is the most significant to the theme and why and I can't write it without exceeding 300 words bc I love going into detail. Help please~

Yeah! I just wanted to say smth b/c I felt the same way too.

I totally understand how you feel...In a similar light, I get mocked for liking Kpop. I'm not angry about it but it just gets annoying. I also get annoyed whenever my family/friends are ignorant of other things (EXAMPLE: Automatically something East Asian is 'Chinese' or thinking Africa is a country/All of Africa is poor. Ugh!)

for some reason i've been feeling really melancholy nowadays-like a mix of a little bit of happiness and sadness? Idk but I've been thinking of my life lately, how boring it is (esp. this summer) I hope noteworthy happens this year for me, my life has been so uneventful and dry. maybe when the school year starts again...

First time posting here, but I suffer from OCD and severe anxiety in general. I also suffer from severe hypochondria *not to mention intrusive thoughs), which is interfering with my life.  :unsure:  It's hell... I also have (mild?) Asperger's Syndrome. But that doesn't make my enjoyment/experience of life any different (besides some sensory and cognitive differences) I personally would love to meet with other  Aspies and talk to eachother about how we feel. :smile:
