As already said, we don't have a feature like this on the site itself but I believe it's possible to block specific pics and words via some ad blockers. Maybe try googling something along those lines. I'm not too familiar with it myself.

Try this: Can't see notifications/only a white bubble appears when clicking on the notification icon? This is caused by a notification containing either a username or thread title with a special character. To fix this issue right click on the notification icon, and open it in a new tab. From there you can view all of your notifications. Once you have looked them over delete all of your notifications, and it will begin working again after that. Repeat above steps if this occurs again.
