My personal take so far, I think the production of this season is better than last seasons. It's not that dragged out and more trainees get more screentime imo. Traineewise atm I think I was more attached already to more of the girls last season and having a harder time getting more attached this time, but that doesn't have to mean anyhting, there are definitely interesting personalitys and talents there. honestly I am curious what's gonna happen, I can't really imagine them joining in as normal trainees? Like would zhen suddenly go from mentor to trainee? Maybe they will join in as special mentors or they will have stages as a group to compete with the others or smth. I would see the reason to use the opportunity to promote R1SE again more and give them more exposure but can't imagine them joining as trainees, would be unfair to the new trainees tbh.
