doing original songs for round 3 is kinda predictable, again, just copying the produce formula. i hope probably for the final round or maybe round 4 if there is one (idk how many episodes or how many eliminations will there be), there will be a round where each group get to perform their own songs but remix or rearranged. since this is a competition for debuted groups, it feels like a waste when they're just doing cover stages and don't get to perform their own songs.

ep 4 was kinda boring, the performances were not as good as ep 3 and those training/practicing scenes just feel so repetitive from mnet formula. i hope next eps start to be more like ep 1-3 where it's more just about the performances. the mnet produce blueprint is real, the way every survival shows always follow the same round 1 - team cover vs, round 2 - position units, and round 3 probably original songs, etc... i'm just waiting for some shows to finally think of something original that works. and i hope the show picks up more momentum in korea too since it hurts to see these groups trying so hard only to gain so little after the show (like how the unit turned out)

I'm surprised Isa isn't mentioned at all, she's the prettiest to me and seems like she has a lot of features that Koreans would like

among buddies on twitter has seem to agree that the girls' contracts were terminated against their will instead of all 6 of them decided to not resign. apparently source music took a loan from hybe and took a hit financially last year so they had to let gfriend go in order to debut their new girlgroup

really hope they try this concept out for an actual comeback that focus on individuality like this

Groups like The Boyz, Golden Child, Verivery, ONF,... don't seem to have no choice but to go dark because their "bright,cute" releases just didn't make any impact with the public or gain a significant amount of fans. It's sad because Seventeen and Astro used to be quite successful with that concept and sound, but it just seems to fall out of trend

honestly i only unstan a group when i get bored of their current stuff. but for snsd since they're inactive i always go to their old music which is what i love from the beginning. the memories make me even more fond of them. i don't have high hopes for a comeback any time soon but it's ok since all the girls deserve to have some time for themselves to do what they want

Gugudan had a lot of potential with SeMiNa being popular members and the other members are talented too. But their concept are too inconsistent and their title tracks choice really aren't the best. The only way for them to get relevant again is probably to come out with a really good song and have Sejeong promote it everywhere on variety shows

Queendom 2 if they keep going with the "top ggs competing" concept: Apink, GFriend, IZONE, WJSN, Chungha, Brown Eyed Girls (probably not likely), and maybe EXID since they still have 3 members in the company but I think a Queendom season with underrated ggs would be fun too: Dreamcatcher, LOONA, fromis_9, Ladies' Code, Brave Girls, April for Kingdom maybe: Seventeen, VIXX, NU'EST, The Boyz, AB6IX, maybe add in Jeong Sewoon or Kim Donghan as the soloist

Kpop overall just isn't that good this year. So many songs this year just rely on heavy drops but it kind of ruin the song tbh There are some quality releases though like Dreamcatcher's comebacks
