Surprised Sung Hanbin is so low in Japan but I'm even more surprised Gunwook is first... the number of participants is quite low though; On the other hand, that twitter poll looks inflated AF, and considering how close the % are I wouldn't take it too seriously either; Neverthless, Sung Hanbin, Gyuvin, Matthew, Zhang Hao, Yunjin and Jiwoong (sadly ) consistently rank high on this kind of polls it seems; There's always bias on these community polls but the fact that the 6 are always present is a good sign of their popularity; Unless someone of those 6 gets cancelled, starts losing steam, or flops hard when the actual voting starts, they will make it to the finale for sure; There's still plenty of time for some random trainees to rise but as of now it's a race to find out who the other 3 members are; Still no one is safe...

Watched the bits of the episode I didn't watch before and I wanna add a few points: Mun Junghyun suffered from being in a team that had no members other than him willing to do his part so he was kinda the sacrificed lamb, I see I see, we'll let it pass for now Haruto is a yassified Mark Lee and I'm kinda living for it Wumuti big brain move by changing his position with Jay; main vocal parts are arguably more important in most teams Krystian OUT, those communication issues were completely unnecessary and disrespectful. We don't need people who create conflicts in a group, we need to AVOID them Daeul truly managed to sabotage himself and his dozen besties by forming a team with them, I can't Danger (or was it Burn it Up? Kill This Love G In my mind they were called 22 because blackpink are 2ne1 2.0 , so it's like 2ne2 rsrsrs Keita sweetie thank you so much for being ~tasteful and gathering the best G trainees and choosing one of the better songs available. Keita did well as expected, he gave what was needed to be given gracefully, relaxed. Being a Zhang Hao one pick is fun. You can always count on him to serve CUNT, and the fact that he's chinese, therefore not a lock despite his talent, makes things a little more exciting too. His vocals stood out since the song doesn't go out of his comfort range. And the leadership? Fun personality? Le main slayer oui oui, we conveniently appreciate the angel edit. Wang Zihao and Matthew did similar, they were both solid, especially dancing. I'm not sold on Zihao because of his association with he who must not be named, but I gotta admit he was well trained (though I think their vocals are nothing extraordinary as of now). Well, first of all, Gunwook is like 7 years younger than him and we know how strict korea is with age. Second, Hwanhee was the ~official leader, he could have led the team if he truly wanted to. Regarding Hwanhee: my dude, why are you screaming? I was quite disappointed because he's decent in Up10tion and, even if he was sick, he was doing too much. It's like on Masterchef, when someone has 8 different elements, lets one of them overcook but still puts them in the dish. Then, surprise surprise, they flop. You know the condition is bad so why are you gonna risk and potentially sabotage yourself? Calm down with the high notes. I could write a whole rant about trainees' obsession with high notes (and don't get me started on Hui and that LMR K group TRAVESTY/practice. D.O. deserves an apology for that)… but I won't.... Now, as for Gunwook, he did well in the dance and charisma department. He was the star of the performance not because he was amazing, but the other team mates were lacking in comparison The others were hmm there, idk their names. The vocals overall were messy and the balance was off, although the performance turned out alright. It started strong but kept getting worse towards the end Love Me Right G Despite having his issues, Jay slayed. I really like his voice color. I still won't vote for him but he can be an indie artist. He sings like a western artist so it sounds fresh with kpop songs. It pains me to say this, but he really is one of the best choices for main vocalist on the show. He got the pipes AND the charisma. But don't worry, Taerae also exists. We decided to swap Takuto with Haruto in our votes. I promised to give my vote to whoever covered Sehun's legendary line the best and Haruto ate, what else can I say. Not as well as our lord and savior but it was a cute attempt ya know. Anthonny's voice is hmmm NOT my favorite. Personally, I think he sounds like he's having a nosebleed, like the typical nasal japanese singing. At the end of the song, he was off pitch. Anyway, he suited the song well but yeah, for a vocalist his vocals were subpar. Winnie did well. Maybe it's because I'm used to cheateryeol's part and the fact that he's a pretty bad dancer, but I think he danced a bit too hard on his part. Haru came and went rsrsrs his line was too short but he looked adorable me thinks. Wumuti didn't standout a lot, even though he's one of the best vocals and the center. I believe the styling didn't do him any favors, I couldn't see him clearly with that hat. Those colors were ugly. It's a pity beacuse in other teams he could be a main vocalist. Ma Jingxiang was better now that he rapped, but he would benefit if he did the things he gotta do on beat like... singing, rapping, dancing... on the beat. It's frustrating beacuse he was also off beat in the signal song fancam and in his audition, it's an ELEMENTARY recurring problem. Cong's voice reminds me of church kids. I don't like going to church, church songs or church kids' voices, fyi. He did okay, though. Still, he benefited from being in a team full of dozens, otherwise he's a passable lead singer ig. Woonggi was fine, his vocals are meh but his presence makes up for it ig… almost. That one guy from Nine.I that mnet tried to edit as homophobic has a voice that I do NOT enjoy (the rapper). Nine.I dudes truly don't have likable voices, in MY opinion. Seungeon was hard carrying the vocals, thankfully he's one of the best vocalists on the show and deserved getting the most votes. On the other hand, he gotta step up his stage presence because aside from vocals (that were great, right) he wasn't giving much more. Good recording artist, but performer… nah Xiao was decent idk what else to say, he was just kinda there. Now Mun Junghyun was... bad. Why did he have those parts? Isn't he a rapper? Wyd kid. Didn't watch their bts stuff so hopefully I get na explanation on why he decided to sabotage himself. My House guy managed to blend in with the others by having only one or two lines. Good for him. It was a ~nice performance. It was a good team but I think it lacked a little spice u see. They had energy but for Aju Nice you gotta go bigger, it's no coincidence it almost sounds like clown music. My opinions on some trainees changed quite a bit after watching the 2nd episode so here's an update on my voting process rsrsrs Keita - wasn't familiar with him but we decided to turn him into one of our fixed picks. He's skilled, speaks korean well, has a good personality... no cons Takuto - i didn't want him in the lineup before but he put a spell on me and he's now THE filler dozen pick. He still isn't someone I'd like in the final group, but someone who I want to watch for entertainment purposes Park Hanbin - he's charismatic, talented and i like his energy. Went from a filler pick to a fixed one *for the time being*. I might remove him later because of the upcoming abs reveal rsrsrs we find those reveals too cringy, you see Jiwoong - we won't give him our filler votes anymore. For a debuted idol his skills are painfully mediocre. Dancing is borderline bad, vocals are meh, I'm overall not really charmed by him and it's not like he needs my votes anyway. Halo effect at its best me thinks Woonggi - no longer a filler pick, solely because i feel sorry to whoever has to share a dorm with him Lee Seunghwan - no longer a filler pick. I'm no longer interested, even though he looks like a decent performer. Simply not charmed by him Hiroto - I didn't want him in the lineup before (idk why) but right now I'm open to it, not sure why either. Maybe I was unfair and expected him to be worse? Who knows when I don't. I'm not voting for him rn but I'm open to it in the future if he does well Yujin - mnet trying to make him fill that sexualized minor role uh... it's worse when you compare his edit to Takuto, who's the same age. My thoughts on the full, uncut performances: Wakeone K trainees - best k-group evaluation of the 1st round, and that's the tea js. Truly ate yuehua k group wew. Would have given them more stars, especially Taerae sweetie. They all did well. Park Hanbin looks like he already debuted. Takuto - he's so endearing, I was converted and am now part of Takuto's cult. We will start voting for him yup. His skills are hmmm kinda bad, but he's way too charming, I can't Wang Zihao (Lay song) - one of the best dancers of the show, without any doubt. Singing skills are ok Lee Yedam (Gambler) - he's quite similar to Wang Zihao, great dancer with alright vocal skills. Even the clothes are similar Haru and Riku (Maniac) - it wasn't bad, especially compared to the other skz cover, but they lacked charisma as a duo me thinks Love Scenario duo - love scenario is a pretty easy song to perform. They were mid, not terrible, but not particularly charismatic Zico freak duo - they did well, particularly the one wearing the cow pants. Dance and vocals check hmm hmm. Good energy. Not sure why they cut this perfomance, ig mnet doesn't want them Shinee replay duo - So Daeul sings pretty bad too… yeah it was NOT it. Junseo was carrying. He kinda looks like enhypen sunghoon, he did alright Jessi Nunu Nana kgroup - they don't sound good to me… the remix is bad and i don't enjoy their tones. On the positive side, they had good dancing and great energy. But tbf if they gave some other trainees 4 stars, then Junhyeon deserves it too. Wumuti (UN Village) - his voice fits the song well, he's a good singer. On the other hand, the dancing was barely there. UN Village isn't the best song for shows like this Up10tion duo - Hwanhee is probably the 2nd best singer after Hui in this show rsrsrs. Xiao is fine, he's a better dancer. It was good, as expected of experienced idols Mirotic group - they did okay… Seunghwan flopped that high note ewihwu so that's why they cut his screen time. Up until that point he was my fave in the performance, too bad. Ichan sang the best ig Reveal g-group - it was hmm amateurish. Not terrible, not great. Meh. At least they're handsome. I can hear ma jingxiang in his head counting the steps, I'm a bit confused why everyone keeps complimenting his dance in the comments, are we looking at the same performance? To1 (Bloom bloom duo) - They were good, despite flopping a bit at the chorus. Woonggi was grasping for air at the end pheww the stamina is lacking boy Hui - hui is like top 5% talent wise in kpop so he did amazing, no surprises. He can dance better than that though, but he was still solid overall Bastarz zero for conduct g group - keita all rounder, we can see those 9 years of training were well spent. Hiroto did better than I expected, I wouldn't be mad if he debuted. Good performance, nice energy, we enjoyed the stage Nine.i duo (Attention) - Seowon stable prince did well, the other kid flopped a bit but nothing too bad. Nice stage, the song fit them well and they were able to showcase their vocals and dancing without struggling much, nice Hope I didn't forget anyone Kill This Love G team is the one I'm anticipating the most along with Love me right K team… also Hot Sauce G team because just from the names it sounds like a tragedy already rsrsrs Top9 is looking slightly better, but still NOT good. In this house we want Hui, Jay and Daeul OUT, bring Taerae back to top9. Shanbin 1st place, nice. Zhanghao 7th? Should be higher but I'll take that rsrsrs

You should check out Taerae, he sings well and ranked 9th he'll perform next episode Hanbin will debut 99,9% sure, hopefully as a center. As for Matthew, he looks more like a filler or a 2nd pick as of now. He's growing in popularity but his chances of making the final lineup are still slim i think, idt his 1 pick base is that strong
