    Just remembered that OH would have a thread for this well OF COURSE IT WOULD

    - I just made my mind of who I support like 3 days ago cause I didn't even know but Zhang Hao it is lbr he's the best trainee we all agree, good, great
    - I was originally a Matthew supporter simply cause of that Canadian that speak French representation but I fear he's bringing the evil editing on himself this time like wdym you need the vocal part for the English lyrics when you about to debut in a k-pop group, you're in the wrong show 🧍‍♀️
    - Over Me is the catchiest song this round, and the perf teaser looks like a proper comeback song, although gotta say Supercharger got me into a chokehold but the lineup was too weak to make a good perf, I grieve everyday what it could have been 😔🤚
    - Haruto deserves a spot in the lineup, but this guy need to stop carrying ppl on his back anyway I'm convinced he's gonna get eliminated before finals
    - En Garde was so disappointing to me, but I can't exactly pinpoint why - Mnet's screentime blessed goldenboy aka Gunwook did well tho
    - Switch is kinda there and it's sad cause after last performance I saw the light in Taerae supremacy but now I fear this song is gonna wash out his voice so badly
    - Because of that and how Jay's voice fit sooo well Over Me and blend with ZhanHao and Ricky's vocals, Jay might become a really popular vote last minute
    - Talking of Jay, I still haven't decided if I am his anti or he's THE main vocal pick 🤔 At least his presence give a little bit of drama on twitter we won't complain
    - Gyuvin dropping and Keita and Ricky top 9 - the world healed 💚
    - But actually Gyuvin might be very important to keep in cause he's a stan attractor so I wouldn't even mind him in, but so does Ricky and I feel like he is just the more interesting and talented option, or we could get both and that would be even more powerful,  but also is Mnet really gonna put 4 Yuehua trainees in the final lineup? I don't think so
    - I'm sad that their Jongwoo narrative is kind of stagnating atm I was enjoying the dark horse storyline for once, another one I'm convinced is gonna get eliminated 😔

    See I wasn't originally gonna watch it SERIOUSLY, but it just always happen somehow
    but I still doesn't want to vote cause I'm too lazy so please vote for Zhang Hao for me okay thx💙💛💜

    Imagine coming back with this amount of taste... as expected of miss bellatrix. I disagree with a few opinions such as the Jay, Jongwoo and Taerae stanning but everything else? Tea

    And dw we are voting

  2. Unorganized thoughts about last episode:

    • Matthew segment was awkward af, boy is in desperate need of media training. It was giving self sabotage - from wanting the part because of the english lines (in a korean show) to wanting to have a bigger part than Seungeon rsrsrs. And saying that he should have gone to Switch rsrsrs oh no this ain't evil edit, he really said that rsrsrs Matthew OUT;
    • Haruto the 3rd acceptable G trainee after Le Main Slayer and Rickis Hilton. "What about Keita?", you ask. Well, he can be the main vocal, main rapper, main dancer, fotg and center of Ciipher;
    • Supercharger did well. Woonggi ate. Zihao and Haruto did the best overall;
    • Takuto and Ollie, it's time to go boys;
    • Now why does Supercharger sound good?
    • En Garde is a bop. Everyone did well and it was the best stage for all of them so far IMO. Very~ balanced, they could debut like this;
    • Who said El Villano wasn't a team player? He looked like a team player to me in the hidden camera part;
    • Why was Jay funny this episode? Weird;
    • Imagine being a global trainee seeing the koreans trainees all happy from seeing their parents meanwhile all you got was a company rep oof;
    • The contrast in the editing of Say My Name team and Over Me team (trying out for parts, El Visual vs Matthew situation) rsrsrsrs;
    • Switch sounds like the worst song based on the practice and previews. Park Hanbin your taste is a bit...
    • Why does Taerae have to sing (and not even that well) everytime he holds a mic? Taerae OUT;
    • Rickis Hilton top9 and El Visual at 15... life is fair. Looks like Over Me won looking at the voting results. However, those 2 have been trending a lot lately so the rise isn't that unexpected even without the points benefit. Any team could have won tbh;
    • Sehun on sale dropping isn't that surprising either. He has the most filler votes out of F4. But that also means that En Garde probably didn't win.

    • Tea 1
    • Dislike 1
  3. Random thoughts:

    • I have seen the light, or rather, I have cleaned my ears and opened my eyes. We decided Matthew out. He doesn't align with our fantasy group
    • Gyuvin is the Sehun of Boys One: have ugly looking dogs, questionable vocals/rapping skills, decent dancing skills, yet weirdly likable. We support him
    • The Nation's Center Sung Hanbin is the future center, leader, visual, lead vocal and main dancer of Boys One (added leader role)
    • Rickis Hilton MUST debut and exchange seats with mr jiwoong
    • El Visual Lee Jeonghyeon MUST debut and be the gag of the finale. Who is he gonna replace? Matthew
    • Taerae isn't that bad actually
    • El Villano Gunwook MUST be forbidden of writing his own rap lyrics, leave that to El Visual. We still support him though
    • I would support Rickis Hilton debuting instead of, say, Gyuvin. Ricky sings better and has more variety potential I fear. Only said Gyuvin because he's someone I think could drop during the finale, otherwise I like him. They both align with our fantasy
    • 9 members are too many. 7 would be perfect. But then the 3% chance of El Visual debuting would drop to 0... so it's fine
    • The only globals we currently support are Zhang Hao and Ricky
    • Keita is talented but he doesn't align with our fantasy group image so we dropped him
    • Ditto for Haruto
    • Hui's high note on MCountdown... oh no he did it again
    • Mnet gotta stop with the sexy cutie image for the Yujin kid, it's creepy
    • I'm thankful Jiwoong went to Say My Name simply for the fact that his stomach will be covered this time
    • Yoo Seungeon the Yuseong of U Got It, the Jonghyun of Never. And we're okay with that
    • Supercharger lineup is a mess as expected
    • Switch looks interesting, expecting them to do well
    • En Garde gonna be good, they have talented trainees (and hiroto)
    • Zhang Hao was in the best team of round 1 and round 2, so Over Me will likely slap. And Rickis Hilton and El Visual on the same team? And Jay too so he could be the main vocal so Le Main Slayer could get the killing part? I MANIFESTED this
    • Say My Name is going to win the battle, but will it win the war?
    • Zero Hour best fansite, idk how their pics are so good. They look damn professional. And the fancam... no words

    spacer.png

    Our votes have been Le Main Slayer + The Nation's Center + Rickis Hilton/El Visual. Angy's F4, full of CUNT

    Everyone that I want is in this picture

    6. This is so harmonious. Give them a debut.

    7. If only they can give Park Han Bin more power in this group...

    8. Please, I also want this grup...

    9. This is what I wanted..............

    10. Wow I also wanted something like this too. This is the best debut team I've seen to date

    thoughts?

    Hmm

    Kick out Jiwoong/Taerae and add Jeonghyeon/Ricky and boom, perfect

    Also Sung Hanbin is the most mother

  5. So I watched the episode and

    Law was good dance wise. Now now, the rapping was giving Sehun pre Love Me Right. Hanbin sweetie I support you but please stick to vocals. Personally, I'd rather have Zoom or Gang on mcountsown but ehh good for them. Lee Yedam did well. Yujin needs to practice his vocals so maybe getting all these music shows performances isn't that bad. Extra practice! Episode barely highlighted Wang Zihao when he did the best part of the choreo. Mnet, I don't want him in the lineup either but...

    Butterfly was serving BTS level of vocals. None of these kids will debut and we're ok with that, though I like Kuanjui

    Feel Special was a mess. Woonggi hard carried the performance, reminded me of those college group projects. Woonggi himself isn't a great singer so for him to carry... yeah. Zhang Shuaibo sabotaging himself, no words

    Rush Hour team was another mess. Please save Rickis Hilton from problematic teams, it's getting tiring, give the kid a break. Otherwise, the performance itself wasn't bad? Rickis Hilton did great as usual, Ma Jingxiang improved a lot (was on beat), Takuto was a cutie and Hiroto and the other kid were there too. Not a lot of chemistry behind the scenes but it could be worse!

    Limousine was quite decent, ngl. It's funny how they had that screentime verse yet mnet still played the performance on episode 7, a few hours before the voting closes. Those assholes rsrsrs and the way I'd do the same out of spite rsrsrs. Cute final stage for the 3 trainees

    Man In Love was meh. I understand Juu's point of view, completely. I was blinded, or deaf in this case, I guess. It's not that Taerae isn't a bad singer, he's one of the best on the show, but his vocal color reminds me of those boring old korean ballads. And I'm scared they'll make him do those high notes if he debuts so... we do not support Taerae anymore. No comments for the rest of the group, just Mingyu OUT

    Not Spring wasn't as bad as I expected idk what else to say. Cute goodbye stage

    Hui didn't really stand out despite having a good amount of lines. The Nations Center and El Villano slayed as usual. We will anticipate their mcountdown performance. Best stage by far, yep. Zhang Hao, Le Main Slayer, the legend you are, being on stacked teams yet coming on top. How so expected of you. No wonder your back hurts, you're carrying china line by yourself. Next round you'll have the killing part (main vocal is also ok)... if not, I should apologize in advance for the person I'll become

    spacer.png

    I hope Love Killa team improves their vocals and dancing for the MCountdown stage, that's all I'm going to say.

    This episode confirmed yet again that we do NOT need any of the so called main vocal picks. Maybe if they sounded ~considerably~ better than everyone else on the show, but that is not the case, I fear. I just don't see the CUNT as of now. Anyway, vote Lee Jeonghyeon

    As a whole the performances were better than the Round 1 ones but tbf the bar was in hell

    Also gif folder is here

  6. As a matter of fact, Sung Hanbin sounds better to me than both Taerae and Seungeon

    We don't care about vocal technique in this house, they'll lipsync 24/7 and will be active for like 2 years, not 30, who cares

    I think main vocal picks OUT

    We should create a visual group instead, vote for Lee Jeonghyeon

    lee jeonghyeon…might take a miracle to get him anywhere close to top 9…

    he'll get his viral 2 seconds in Over Me next to Le Main Slayer and Rickis Hilton, trust

  7. I did some data analysis

    Confused Thinking GIF

    dMbbCeM.png

    * = estimation, no official data found, take it with a grain of salt

    "Total votes" is the official number of votes Mnet released (around 50 million) divided by 9, so we get the actual number of submissions. Only included the trainees I believe will be top20 so we can compare the numbers with the 2nd elimination

    Findings:

    • Sung Hanbin was in the 9pick lineup of almost 80% of korean voters and ~71% in general - ultimate filler vote king;
    • Zihao was in only a little over 2% of korean submissions, complete nugu in korea;
    • Gunwook has the smallest gap in popularity between korean and global voters, balanced king;
    • Keita and Jay are being carried by ifans (gasp);
    • Matthew was a more popular pick among kfans, not ifans;
    • Majority of high ranking g trainees are more popular internationally (gasp);
    • etc, etc

    Nothing surprising, too boring ik

    Anyway, anticipate more findings after episode 8, they shall be more interesting
