  1. Ok i'm back from another walk So long story short, until +1am i was there holding a blanket to catch the cat in case it fell, meowing at it, while my sis and the girl were pointing the flashlights and my friend and the dude were there with sticks teying to get the cat out of the tree. A random dude and a lady also stopped there to see what what was going on The kitten wasn't very smart u see So we shared our contacts and planned to meet the next day (today) at 3pm (40°C outside, god damn). Dude said he would bring a ladder to get the cat in case it was still there *to be continued*
  2. We got the food and went back to get the cat. I meowed at it, it kept responding (very talkative), but still didn't come down. We left the food there and decided to take a walk, then check the cat again A few minutes after we got there (almost midnight i guess), a couple stopped their car and started to help. At first we thought they were from the animal organization, but turns out they were runners. Their situation was similar to ours, but instead of walking, they were running So the guy climbed the wall, as well as my friend *to be continued*
  3. So the cat was on top of a wall, around 2 meters tall. I'm not sure how to explain it, but above the wall there was a land with trees etc, so it was like another floor. My friend called an animal rescue organization but they ghosted her so we decided to take action rsrsrs We called the cat but it didn't come down. Therefore, my friend tried to climb the wall to get the kitten... until the police stopped their car next to us to know what the hell was going on We told the cops the situation and the male cop climbed the wall to get the kitten, while we were chatting with the female cop. She told us we looked 16yo, 18yo max. We were flattered ah When the male cop approached the kitten, it got scared and climbed a huge ass tree. It was 11pm, so we could barely see anything even with our phones flashlights. And since there was a festival going on, there were fireworks that also likely scared the poor thing The cops got a call to go to the festival (i think?) and they had to leave, advising us to not climb the wall rsrsrsrs After this, we returned to my friend's house to get food and a blanket *to be continued*
  4. This weekend was quite entertaining u see On saturday night, after watching No Hard Feelings at the theater, we went to my friend's house and from there we went outside to take a walk. Lately the nights have been 20 something °C so it's nice. It was around 10.30pm when we left So after about 15 minutes of walking I hear a meow. I meow back. The kitten meows back. My homies notice our conversation and stop. Turns out there was a kitten, veryyy small, without a family *to be continued
  5. My holes can take me anywhere Never thought I'd watch a full naked jennifer lawrence fight scene on the big screen but here we are

  7. ZB1 lore - an essay by yours truly Vocabulary: Youth In The Shade teaser - YitS New 3-minute teaser - 3MIN KCON video clip - VCR Zhang Hao awakens at the beginning of both the VCR and 3MIN teasers. In 3MIN, it's quite evident that he is in a virtual reality (VR) world, and it can be assumed that he was also in a VR world during the VCR, given the similar starting scenes. Waking up serves as a clue that he has entered a new world/ map/ whatever you want to call it. Thanks to VR, Hao and everyone with a VR set can travel between worlds (the connection to The Little Prince musical segment becomes clearer with each passing day). Little Prince Zhang Hao uwu What was The Little Prince about again? It centered around a child, the narrator, who aspired to be a painter but gave up due to a lack of understanding from adults. Instead, he became an airplane pilot. When he becomes an adult, he crashes his plane in the Sahara Desert, leading to an encounter with the prince and yadda yadda We don't need to know the entire story, but three crucial points stand out: a) the frequent mention of the adult world (Earth), b) according to the fox, the truly important things are only visible to the heart, and c) the Little Prince falls in love with a rose and returns to his planet, driven by his love for that particular rose, despite encountering numerous roses on Earth. It sounds familiar, doesn't it? I won't even delve into the Here I Am music video because that belongs to another era. Thus, it's evident that we are the roses. Youth in the Shade... no further elaboration is needed. In my interpretation, "shade" represents VR, a reflection or replica of the real world, or perhaps the mundane and dark aspects of reality. We need more teasers. It's too early to discuss which members represent specific characters; perhaps they drew inspiration from the general concept of the story rather than taking a direct "The Little Prince but make it VR" approach. From YitS, I'd say Hanbin might embody the fox, considering he portrayed the character in the musical rsrsrs. Yunjin, based on the 3MIN teaser, might represent the narrator since he looks thirsty rsrsrs. However, it's not a one-to-one comparison. The overall vibe seems to revolve around Prince Zhang Hao's journey across worlds to beat loneliness and meet his friends. Now, since it's VR, we are left with the question: "Are they real?" In my opinion, Hao is either human or an AI, possibly an NPC that has evolved to experience emotions. However, I'm more inclined (99.9% sure, in fact) to believe he's human, considering he's the one wearing the VR set. Based on the BP era, the most logical interpretation is that everyone is real, and VR is the realm where they can be together, searching for each other across the universe, and so on. BUT- (explained later) Part 2 of the 3MIN teaser (after Hao removes the set) is set in the real world. As Matthew suggests, "it's time to make it real." They step out of the game, walk on a wet floor, and then Hao wakes up with his shoes soaked in water. They've transformed VR into reality. I'm not exactly sure where this is heading, and it might not even make sense, but that's how it is. I believe we can delve into some philosophical discussions and debate the nature of reality. Are the experiences we have in a simulation not real or inferior to those in the physical world? How can we be certain we're not currently in a simulation (the sudden shift towards conspiracy theories wew)? If my theory is correct, these questions can be explored. I have another question: Why are they all knocking on Hao's door right after he logs out? Were they playing outside in the dark? It doesn't make sense. The plot isn't plotting. Something fishy is going on. The real world might not be as "real" as we think, in my opinion. Could Hao be attempting to bring his NPC friends into the physical world? To merge them somehow? I think part 2 of 3MIN, rather than taking place in the "real" world, represents a mix. There are still many unanswered questions, but this is the overall impression, I believe. TL;DR: The only thing I'm certain is genuinely real in this world is the Supreme Center of the Universe, Heartstring Virtuoso, President of the Chinese CUNTress University, Prince of All Multiverses, Le Main Slayer Zhang Hao's slayfulness. Edit: i forgot to add something rsrsrs by the end of 3MIN we see "sound 35" mirrored (a shadow). Boys Planet was always about binary merging (2 groups to 1, 2 centers to 1 center). So in my theory they are merging real (0) with virtual (1), which is what we call shadow (base) and that's where they are in the 2nd part of 3MIN Thanks for coming to my TED talk
  8. Attitude - i heard this before so i'm supposing it's the title. Very different sound from fromis 9 girlies, not as boppy as, let's say, We Go, but it's not bad! Girl groups have been very cunty lately and we enjoy that. GOOD #menow - it's nice to listen to but not particularly interesting. The chorus is too high. MEH Wishlist - the english ain't englishing. Too generic i feel like i listened to this song 837383 times before. SKIP In the mirror - it started well then it got a bit boring rsrsrs it's MID Don't Care - yes I was needing a bop, too many boring songs until now. Not my type of banger however MID Prom Night - i see the pace picked up, i'm glad. There's some interesting parts in the song, like that weird voice. Beat is too pung pung repetitive. The bridge is nice. ALRIGHT Bring it On - very on brand with the rest of the album. A bit more interesting than most of the other bsides so far, however. OKAY What I Want - I think I heard this before? Best bside so far by far. The chorus is slighly too high but other than that it's BOPPY My Night Routine - why do i feel like i heard this one before too. It's ALRIGHT Eye Contact - it's giving barbie animated movie It was a cute elevator music album!

  10. Nothing against the dude, he did a fine job qkwjsjs Did u watch it sister
  11. I TOLD YOU ABOUT THE SUNSET - a review INTRO You know, when I said I was going to watch a BL, I meant it. Choosing which one to watch was pretty easy. I just picked the one that had the best score on some drama site (forgot the name). Interestingly, I actually know this one. It's the one that the Supreme Center of the Universe, Heartstring Virtuoso, President of the Chinese CUNTress University, Le Main Slayer, ZB1's Zhang Hao watched, allegedly. I recognized the shirt on the poster, rsrsrs. Quick disclaimer: I generally dislike romantic movies/shows, etc. Watching this was a masochistic choice, so don't expect many compliments. The closest thing to a BL that I watched was "Call Me By Your Name" and I hated it, so... yeah... just saying! ACTING Look, I don't want to be mean or anything, but I have to say the main dude, Teh, has a very punchable face, especially when he smiles. Nothing personal, it's just what it is, rsrs. The whole cast did their job. I don't recall cringing much. CINEMATOGRAPHY The cinematography is stunning. The warm colors reminded me of Hollywood movies in Latin America. The locations (beaches, cafes) are gorgeous~. It's honestly hard to make the show look ugly with those beautiful sceneries. PLOT/NARRATIVE The story is alright. I appreciate the fact that we get a plot that isn't solely focused on romance; that would be absolutely excruciating (wrote this too soon). So our main dude, Teh, was BFFs with Oh-aew and wanted to be an actor when they were kids. Their class was doing Teh's favorite play, and guess who got to play his muse, his idol? Oh-aew, you said? Ding, ding, ding, you got it. Oh-aew didn't want to at first, but Teh encouraged him. How nice of him. The whole play thing showcases their friendship until Oh-aew says he wants to be an actor too, and Teh becomes salty because then they become rivals and yadda, yadda. Friendship over! Time skip and they become teenagers, high school seniors. After many years of being separated, they end up in the same class again, and there's still bad blood between them. I would call them petty, but I still hold a grudge over this little bitch that stole my teddy bear when we were 3 or 4, so you know what... I get it. They get over their issues and become friends again. Oh-aew is bad at Chinese, so Teh is tutoring him so they can both go to college. Oh-aew says he likes one of their friends, this dude called Das or Bas, idk. There's also a girl called Tarn that Teh has his eyes on. So Oh-aew and his crush, Bas, grow closer, and Teh gets salty at Bas and Oh-aew's legs touching (dude, it's just legs), and then he uses his chick to make Oh-aew jealous... save the girlies from gay shows. His scenes with the girl were so awkward, Christ. I'm not going to give every little detail, okay~? So in episode 3, they both start to become aware of their feelings. There's a lot of leg touching, massages... very slice of life, let's say. I don't know what's with their obsession with legs, but they really like leg contact. This was the moment I asked myself, "What the fuck am I watching?" I don't think I'm the target audience, you see. Oh, and there's an underwater kiss that lasted about 8373 years. Their apnea skills kinda slay, ngl. Was this in episode 3 or 4? I forgot. Episode 4 is the most entertaining. Friendship over! And we have a battle on one of the 21st century's most ruthless playgrounds: insta stories. The most entertaining episode, I fear. Personally, I thought the reason for their situationship breakup was kinda forced. Two messy dudes with severe communication issues, IMO. I won't spoil the last episodes much, in case you want to watch the show. We also have a random classroom love confession between Oh-aew and his other friend. I would say this moment is unrealistic, but I've seen worse things happening IRL, so maybe it's not that bad. Then the last episode (5) came, and everyone gets their happy ending. Everyone becomes friends again, everyone goes to college, etc. CONCLUSION "I Told You About the Sunset" provided an interesting experience for someone like me, who isn't particularly drawn to romantic movies or shows. While it may not have reached the same level as this masterpiece called "The Last of Us" Episode 3 or plunged into cringe-worthy territory like the awful "Call Me By Your Name," it found its place somewhere in between (if CMBYN is 0 and TLOU is 10, this is a 2). The acting was decent, with the cast delivering their roles effectively. The cinematography was a standout, mostly because of the nature and not so much due to the filming or editing technique. While some moments felt forced or awkward, overall, the narrative managed to maintain a level of intrigue. The show had its fair share of leg-touching and slice-of-life moments that left me questioning my own connection to the target audience, but it had enough elements to keep me engaged. Or perhaps I simply wanted to finish it so I could post my review. Or maybe because I watched during home office and anything felt better than working? Well, episode 4, in particular, provided some entertaining drama, despite the general slow pace of the series. It may not have been a groundbreaking love story, but it achieved a level of cringe that could be deemed acceptable. It's not a realistic work (like most BLs, I suppose), but that's likely part of the appeal. If this is the holy grail of BLs then there's plenty of work to do, although I wonder at what point it would stop being under the label of being just* a BL. Hmm... TL;DR: Meh Happy pride month ig

  21. Random thoughts - Why does TXT still hold the title for best comeback by a kpop boy group in 2023 - Taeyong's solo kinda slayed ngl - We need EXO for god's sake - Who the hell debuted this year?
