Let's wrap the holy trinity reviews 4 walls - best f(x) title track BY FAR. 4 walls is one of my favorite gg music videos, concepts, choreo, styling, etc. Perfect disbandment comeback the last 1m and 30s are the best part of the song. Yes that's almost half of it but it's a PERFECT BOP Glitter - Glitter as a song is like a personification of glitter. The ooohhs harmonies are quite adorable. The harmonies as a whole are good, particularly during the chorus. I also enjoy the sudden contrast of how quiet and how loud it gets. SHINY BOP Deja Vu - Sounds stylish, not sure how to explain. Despite how busy it sounds, it has the feeling that it could have been released 20 years ago, or maybe today. There's something retro and timeless about it rsrsrs, the woo woos are fun. BUSY BOP X - I see X as an improvement of Prince's Kiss. ROYAL BOP Rude Love - it sounds like a generic 10s dance pop song. It's not terrible, but I'm a badum tsss anti. Maybe if instedad of the constant badum tsss beat all over the song, it would sound better with another instrument. It's a pity because there's a lot of potential under the badum tss. NOT MY TYPE OF CLUB BANGER Diamond - the song could fit the Pink Tape album. The chorus is a well done anti drop IMO. Expected but satisfying. There's nothing I particularly dislike about the song, but I wish it was a little shorter because it starts getting old by the end of it. Overall it's NICE Traveler - sounds very modern. It's chill and it builds nicely as the song goes on, without being in your face, and then drops energy kinda randomly but you don't get mad about it. Zico's verses sound fresh. QUIET BOP Papi - So catchy. Why does a song called Papi go so hard? Sounds a bit latin in some parts, and by that I mean that it reminds me of Jen Lopez's Let's get loud sometimes rsrsrs. I enjoyed Amber's rap. First time I realize they spell Boss CEO… iconic. MY TYPE OF GAY CLUB BANGER Cash me out - Oh no they go too high, my ears don't like it. Reminds me of LMFAO and those edm songs from 10+ years ago. NOT MY TYPE OF CLUB BANGER When I'm Alone - I heard that Carly Rae Jepsen wrote the song for Emotion but then gave it to f(x)… I think? Pink Tape album Review Rum Pum Pum - never cared much for f(x) title tracks in general and this one isn't an exception. There's sections I like, such as the prechorus, bridge and the beginning, but it's still JUST KINDA THERE Shadow - this song reminds me of those antique stores with a bunch of creepy looking dolls, or a cute freak show, or an abandoned bunny themed adventure park. The random noises work together and create a charming melody, along with the vocals, a kpop classic. WEIRD BOP Pretty Girl - this aged… not a fan of the mixing. It's not bad and I can imagine, say, Le Sserafim or Itzy (even if with questionable vocals) releasing this today. But once you listen to it once, there's nothing pulling you to listen to it again, at least for me. MEH Kick - never liked this song rsrsrs, the only part that doesn't suck is the prechorus, it's ANNOYING Signal - classic kpop, twice wishes. It sounds exactly as a song called "Signal" is expected to sound. A bit retro isn't it? It's easy on the ears and has 80s (?) vibes. SIGNAL BOP Step - The song is right on top of a limbo between addicting and annoying, but it usually falls in the addicting field. The nananas are too catchy, as well as the instrumental. Yes Luna slay that bridge. ADDICTING BOP Goodbye Summer - aside from 2 or 3 exo songs, kingsoo only sings good songs. It's awkward how it's right after Step and before Toy, though, the album is organized is a hmm interesting way. It's also funny how this sounds more like something that EXO would release, rather than f(x)… so ofc I like it. Best f(x) ballad/ chill song i fear, they have good vocal chemistry. CHILL CROSSOVER BOP Airplane - it's 2023 and I still don't understand why this song is a fan favorite… it's giving basic edm. Is it because of the come with me and love parts? I can see why it's so popular, it has wide appeal and all. Reminds me of Spica's Tonight. It's NOT MY TYPE Toy - Now this is a banger ok, one of their best songs IMO. So catchy and unpredictable… fun. That drop always gets me rsrsrs MAJOR BOP No More - very Meghan Trainor, 60s I guess? And Red Velvet also, like Rookie era Red Velvet. There's a similar song from RV but i don't remember which one. Nothing jaw dropping, just CUTE Snapshot - Why isn't this the opening song? Amber even says welcome and sets the mood for the album, idgi. I love how it sounds like a musical, one of the most interesting f(x) songs. The click sounds from a camera also elevate the music because well, it's called "Snapshot". INTERESTING BOP Ending Page - From a song called Ending Page you expect a boring ballad like what every other kpop group does to end a album. Well, Ending Page is a basic radio song, but it's not super boring at least. I like the key change in the last chorus. OKAY The tracklist is a hot mess. Thematically and sonically, I prefer Red Light. I'll give Pink Tape a 75/100, not that much of a difference

A Red Light album review because it deserves a review Red Light - thank god the styling and mv are iconic because the song isn't all that ... aside from that gorgeous bridge. Okay, fine, it's good, experimental, it goes hard yadda yadda. But the chorus misses a bit. Like it's anticlimatic? That's probably the point but idk it could be better IT WAS ALMOST A HOME RUN Milk - the transition of the meow to the actual song is 10/10. Idk if it's about milk or not, probably not. The instrumental and whistles are charming, more than the vocals imho - i do like the vocals, obviously. There's nothing I dislike, I even enjoy the rapping. CHILL BOP Butterfly - sound is so magical, vibey and fitting for the title. LE FILLER Dracula - Fun fact I recommended this song to @Nelkoya when she was asking for gg song recommendations (a long ass time ago) and she really liked it... obviously duh because it's the perfect HALLOWEEN BOP Summer Lover - going from "dracula" to "summer lover" is a choice. Theme and sound did a 180° turn. I like the song though, it's safe, not that boring, just... NICE Paper Heart - It's an ok ending for the album but I don't like the song that much. It's giving tumblr 2013 for some reason, not sure why. AGED It's a 77/100

Reviewing Nu Abo mini because we're in missing f(x) hours Nu Abo - I only recently rediscovered what nu abo means. I knew the meaning back then but completely forgot about it. New blood uh. It's still good, classic kpop perfection. I like everything about it, nostalgia helps ig. So sassy and catchy, especially the nananananas. Luna killed those notes, the talent... ICONIC BOP yup Mr. Boogie - best bside of the mini (the bar is low js). A banger right after NU ABO. It's very obvious older kpop but still aged well, I like the production. The only bside of the album that I actually listen to ngl. OLDIE BOP Milkshake - i have a love-hate relationship with this song ya know. It usually doesn't hit, but in VERY rare occasions it hits... the voice production and the instrumental gives this particular y2k or 90s vibe of tamagochis or trashy video games. MIXED FEELINGS Me+U - no... the autotune and everything about this is ANNOYING, my ears jisoo's christ Surprise Party - It's a cute song eh i don't know what else to say, very 00s.
