I didn’t watch the full episode, only the first 30min and performance clips, but I have some (many) thoughts AHEM I have to agree with miss love - some full stars were questionable. For yuehua, Yunjin is a good dancer but the vocals were questionable. They don’t give Gunwook 4 stars because the song didn’t showcase his vocals that much, but that doesn’t apply to the yuehua K trainees? Ehhh. For yuehua, K group had the better remix and dancing, while G group had the better vocals as a whole. Seungeon belted the high note better, but Zhang Hao sings better in mid/low range. Or maybe I just prefer his voice rsrs. I already commented a bit on their performance when the teaser was released. I agree with the G group ratings and disagree with K. Yunjin and Gyuvin, even though I like them, barely had solo lines and the ones they had weren’t exactly stellar. Seungeon deserved the 4 stars though I thought Jay did great, I dig his raspy voice absgsv. Completely overshone Na Kamden IMO. I’m more of a vocalist kinda person so I’m not mad about him getting 4 stars, despite his dancing being just ok. Honestly, choosing the Crush song was veryyy smart because it fit them like a glove Wakeone G group did amazing. Anthonny sings better than I expected (expectations were on the floor) and Haruto danced great (he had one of my fave Here I Am fancams so no surprise) and his voice was neat and stable. Clearly not shy on stage. We agree with the stars that were given Gunwook and co did well. Specifically, Gunwook was a standout. Dancing? Impeccable. Vocals? They were there and they were disagree. 3 stars? We disagree, the kid deserved 4. He did better than some 3 stars, just like miss love said Hanbin is the perfect idol. Dancing? Check. Vocals? Check. Charisma? Check. Visuals? Check. Personality? Check. His score? 3 stars. Ma’am that’s some bul*shit. We could hear his vocals clearly, the same can’t be said about some other 4 stars. His singing on the pr videos is better but I don’t think his vocals were anywhere near bad here, he was okay/decent Gunwook and Hanbin deserved 4 stars from the start and that’s the tea, I fear. At least they’ll be full stars soon AHH Those My House covers were camp. Bad, entertaining and the right amount of cringe. A good mess. That global Hot stage angshnssk I laughed. Felt that aigoo ya from the dance master whose name I can’t type. No words. Terrible. E for Effort, though I’m not sure if they put any effort into the stage Nice’s voice is as bad as I expected. Hui I’m SO sorry they did your song dirty Matthew did well. He’s probably gonna get a lot of votes from being Hanbin’s friend so good for him. He’s not a power vocal but he’s charming, stable and his skills are solid overall. Idk how many stars were given to him, but I’m guessing either 3 or 4, leaning on 4 I heard that Cong got 0 stars? The performance was unremarkable but that’s too harsh I think. He was mehh, as well as donghai The Taemin covers were pretty damn bad. Too much food for their plate, they should have followed pdx Yohan’s strategy by choosing a basic and easy song to cover. Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if mnet was the one that chose the songs Crown performance by G trainees was… not good. My ears, christ The Tiger Inside cover by G trainees was nice, it fit the boys well. Idk any trainees in particular to actually discuss them though rsrsrs I’m usually harsher with Exo covers because I’m biased but Call Me Baby cover was indeed hard to listen to. And it kept getting worse lmao. Mmmh cover was forgettable, the charisma was missing Stray Kids sweeties I’m so sorry for that God’s Menu cover… the rapping… the singing… no words. At least the dancing didn’t suck (as much) I think I commented on every performance The final placements (the ones we see in Here I Am mv) are more accurate with my opinions on the performances we saw. I didn’t watch the full episode so I might change my mind when I listen to the judges critics. Talking about the judges, I like all of them, probably the best panel I’ve seen on a reality show

Zhang hao my 1 pick (for now) you're doing amazing sweetie, I knew you got the pipes for a main vocalist Oily Wonka did better than I expected, but personally I'm not a fan of his rapping since that eye contact video rsrsrs, I find it a bit hmm cringy Brian did alright but he didn't stand out in the teaser Ricky should start selling merch saying "young and rich, tall and handsome". Not sure about his rap but he's a good dancer and very charismatic, obviously Yuehua k group got the best remix and outfits js. Yujin being heavily favored by the teasers so I'm guessing mnet wants him as the maknae... i'm ok with that, he's talented. I prefer hags but it is what it is. We could be getting 3 yuehua trainees in the lineup
