Yes, Jihae from Girls Day. Hyeri was also my bias and I overall loved the group so I didn’t quit stanning, but the first comeback without her was hard. oh my goodness I forgot about Sulli leaving f(x)...It was a very sad time and all the hate Sulli got when that happened and afterwards...yeah I pushed that from my brain entirely. It makes me really upset thinking about it.

Why be so bitter...ya gotta use the cards that life dealt you. Not everyone is smart or studious, so if they can use other talents or even just their appearance to carve out their place in the world, then that’s a good thing no...? And if you are smart or a good student, you use those to your advantage... Not everyone will be wealthy and that’s okay too...even a modest existence is something to be thankful for imo. And often can be a happier existence than one filled with wealth and fame.

Umm my stocks are down by like $50 a share. It hasn’t really hit my area or country too bad yet but it’s gonna get worse here before it gets better, so it remains to be seen the impact it will have.

Worried only for my two month old son, who was born 11 weeks premature and thus has a compromised immune system for the foreseeable future (even term babies can get very sick from ordinary illnesses.) It helps that we live in a midwestern small town, so the chances of it showing up here are low...But I do have to take him quite frequently to the children’s hospital In the capital city, which is an excellent place to catch illnesses I worry about all illnesses and diseases though for him, even the common cold scares me right now. I also worry and feel awful for the cities and people who are battling this illness right now. And I feel terrible about the racism/xenophobia people are having to endure right now because of fear.

I’ve been trying to process this since I woke up and had the news broken to me and I can’t. I’m so heartbroken. I’m so fucking angry. But one thing I am not is surprised...it’s not surprising that a person who was raised in the entertainment industry, who from a young age couldn’t breathe without someone criticizing her, who endured years and years of harassment and bullying...would be suffering. She suffered so much...I don’t blame her for wanting it to end. She can’t be hurt by anyone now. (if this is the wrong thing to say for people that are struggling with depression and suicide...please comment or PM me. I’m not trying to promote suicide. And I don’t want to unintentionally send the wrong message.) I know you can’t read this Sulli but...I’m sorry that you weren’t born into a kinder world. I’m sorry that you had to endure so much in your short life. Thank you for all the happiness you had given me over the years.

A lot of angry people up in here for a simple submission. If they won’t be nominated, why do you even care? The most successful groups always have the most insecure fans, good lord. Even if BP did get a nom, they ain’t taking anything away from the success of BTS. Chill. Or don’t, because it’s pretty funny to watch.

I feel like their b-sides have improved by leaps and bounds the last two albums, at least for me. But title tracks haven’t quite hit the mark that previous titles have for me. Fancy had a catchy factor and I do find it gets stuck in my head, but I didn’t love it. Feel Special is pleasant and nice just forgettable. I am fine with changing concepts especially since it has resulted in albums that are more to my liking, I just think they lost some of their magic with the title tracks. I don’t think it’s because of the concept though so it can be recaptured...I think maybe JYP is playing it too safe with the concept change so the songs aren’t as memorable. I will say I think their vocal color suited the upbeat and cheery concept of twice more

Ebb and flow of public sentiment. Been in K-pop long enough to see this happen before and groups always rebound just fine. Soloists (Idols and non idols) are doing well and a few groups have topped the charts so it’s not like it’s a hopeless situation. And idol groups are still doing fine, just not dominating the top spots in the chart on a regular basis this year.

If only AkMu and BP could leave YGE, then I wouldn’t have to ever look in the direction of that company again.

Feel Special isn’t a bad song, it’s just not all that catchy or memorable to me. Sadly, the average listener has an expectation of the sound they want from most idol groups and if the group makes a departure from that sound, it often isn’t successful. Not sure if that is what happened here or if it’s just a result of charts being unkind to idol groups for the most part this year...but still, I think they are doing just fine. One comeback isn’t the end all be all and it’s only the immediate digital performance that isn’t meeting what we expect from Twice.
