I love vocal unit song so but really so much ψ(｀∇´)ψ (*^o^*)(*˘︶˘*) that I was in love by the 40 secs mark or less. My favorite unit is performance so being biased as I am, I was expecting their song the most and then Vocal. I just want to say that I hope you guys get that wonwoo it's uncomfortable by the concept of “shipping†itself rather than just because it's with mingyu. By this I mean that I often seen people ( in general) saying how xx o yy is a better member to ship wonwoo with, because they are close or get along better. But this sounds hypocrite, to me at least, because they use it to put down meanie stans and look better than them, but they aren't really seeing were the real problem comes? I didn't want to comment but just please don't take my opinion as the general feeling between wonwoo fans and also I want to said that I no longer ships wonwoo with another member so don't see this as me defending meanie and its fans or attacking other wonwoo ships, or vice-versa… The problem with the ship is that the crazy shippers (there are normal ones too, not in great amount but still), were feed by pledis time by time, and this probably gave a feeling to fans that the ship was “recognized†and “official†It didn't help the fact the it has been big since pre debut, and that basic aspects of their personalities can be stereotype? and later make as the complementary couple as its used in the narrative of media like manga/TV series/books etc... My problem with some of the comments I have seen is that at the same time this is a problem with almost every ship in the fandom? Especially in the biggest ones. Hard shippers are always pushing OTPs, saying things like “my ship is the best†and putting down other member that “may get in the wayâ€, getting excited over pretty normal interaction and making every moment about their favorite couple and one member can't look at the left because he is seeing the floor his love walked in.. So this conduct is not exclusive to meanie shippers, they get more attention because they have more fans involved, but there are some others ships in the fandom that are the same and don't get such a backlash like meanie? Sometimes I even forget how they put me in the edges most of times and how I low-key want to help them see a few things by force, because I feel pity for them. it's like fandom only wants to put every bad thing of shipping culture at their name due to what happened. It's really sad what happened to their friendship, but at the moment and actually all this year, rather than being angry at the crazy shippers, I have been happy at the progress they have made in comparison to last year. Even if things between them don't get back to how it were pre debut (but for me part of this could also be due to their world expanding and the difference in their personalities that plays a big role in how they live their everyday) I'm just happy seeing them talk and smile between them every chance they let fans see it. As for the scene, I hope the message doesn't get inside of only meanie shippers and their antis (persons who sometimes just make shippers more passionate) I hope it's a wake up call to all those extra shippers in the fandom. Not the normal, chill ones because I don't have a problem with shipping as long it gets behind close doors.
