Recent pictures of Momo debunked the whole "Momo deepened her double eyelids" talk. Her eyelids are still the same, she definitely put some eyelid tape on her eyes for a few days. Because she had recent airport pics with a baseball caps hiding her eyes as well as eyelid tapes in a recent cf and TV show, Pann girls spread around the rumor she got double eyelids and caled her a plastic monster over it. Once again, before throwing accusations out, wait a few weeks to see if it's not eyelid tapes and the eyes go back to their usual state. Actually they're now 2nd!! Bigbang's Made Series and Best are accumulated sales from the previous years + what they sold this year not what they actually sold this year in total. If Twice sells over 122K+ then they'll be the best selling Kpop artist this year! For reference, Oricon 2016: BIGBANG Best of- 214,116* BIGBANG MADE Series- 201,510

It's the most realistic decision to make a comeback in Korea and in Japan in the second half of the year. Twice needs to cement their position in Korea so they'll release another song and album (lol I have a feeling it'll be yet another mini since they're too busy to prepare for a full album) and Twice needs to keep their momentum in Japan going. I don't think it'll be that energy consuming. If anything, Korean promos are insane but these days Twice isn't doing nearly as much as they did in 2016. They're only going to a few variety shows, rely on Vapp to communicate with fans and just basically go to music shows. As long as they keep doing KK/Signal level of promos they'll be fine. And it's not like they actually need to go on variety shows to make their new song known to the general public, the shows air their songs whether they appear or not in it. As for Japan, if it's a single, it won't be too time consuming for them to record it and Japanese promos aren't really extreme. They'll give interviews, maybe get the opportunities to appear on relevant variety shows and that's about it. I have a feeling they'll have a Japan tour in early 2018 because 1) 2PM is going to the army and Suzy is probably not renewing so they have to find the money somewhere 2) Twice is getting popular outside of the Kpop niche so they have the potential to sell a lot of tickets so might as well take advantage of it.

No newer acts rose so high on Recochoku. As for physical sales, the 2016 Oricon ranking had 3 Kpop groups in the top 100, all boy groups: Bigbang, 2PM and iKon. So once again, Twice is a boy group with wigs even in Japan.
