The teaser vids are so so good. First, the girls look super pretty and cute. I really like how creative JYPE was with these filters. Second, OMG the songs sound so so good. I've been BOPPING to Mina's song for an entire hour. I need her song, I need this to exist and to be released and stream at least 1,000 times. (I need Twice to perform this song with their witch costumes and a dope choreo, pls JYP lurk over this page and make it happen ) Nayeon's song is so cute and upbeat. I didn't know I NEEDED Jelly Jelly's kid but now I'm ready to pamper and love this child <3 Jihyo's song is 100% Turtle. I need this sweet ballad in my life At this point, 24 hours per day won't be enough for me to BOP to these songs. And to think they're only b-sides!!!! And Twice likes Likey the MOST out of their album. I feel like Likey will slay so hard I won't even be able to listen to the rest of the album til 2020. Likey and Twicetagram come out faster!!!!

First of all, the OP is really gorgeous. Thanks a lot for your hardwork Moondust! Second, the teaser pics are so good and the girls so pretty. I can tell these booklets might dethrone the quality of Twicezine Apparently they got new hairdressers and stylists, I'm glad JYPE decided to change everything and start anew with Likey era. I'm loving the girls' hair and their clothes so far. LOL of course they dressed for June-July-August to promote in early November.... I just hope they won't catch a cold. Now I'm really really excited. I wonder which surprise JYPE will drop on us next! Am I the only one who get a retro feel from the teasers? Tbh I expect either a timetravel concept OR a Halloween (maybe villain?) concept so something who will follow the feel of the teaser pics (like for Signal) or something completely different (ex: TT).

I just looked them up and I found out that the team behind Likey (Rado and Jeon Gun) produced and wrote WJSN's Happy this year. I checked out the lyrics and they're quite funny, nothing I would side-eye was found! I think we can expect something upbeat and bubbly like CU and TT with maybe a retro/festive feel to it?

I also noticed that. Not sure but for the record Rado produced 4minute's Volume Up, Troublemaker's troublemaker and Troublemaker's Now. So if it's only him Likey will have more of a LOA style than anything else Twice released.

I knew about the 13 songs but being used to Kpop groups filling up their albums with remixes and instrumental (and JYPE groups doing that a lot too), I thought we would get 8-9 songs in total. Then when the real tracklist dropped I legit screamed. ALL NEW SONGS. ALL NEW BOPS. KOREAN LINE PARTICIPATING IN THE ALBUM!! THIRTHEEN. NEW. SONGS. Let that sink in. As someone who's been unhappy with JYPE only making Twice release minis as well as highkey cutting costs of production, I'm really really happy they went the fck OUT this time. They snapped me so hard I still can't even process that Twice is releasing a FULL ALBUM WITH THIRTEEN songs. Now y'all are tracking down each one of the composers and producers and I'm even more in awe. Not only we're getting 13 songs but 13 QUALITY tracks. First BEP doing the title track. I already know the chorus is BOMB but since it's BEP behind it I now know the full song will be LIT. RF/All Night producer teaming up with Jihyo and Nayeon for my midnight dance club bop. Jeongyeon writing lyrics for a probably cute song by a producer of OMG's b-sides (one of OMG's producers also did my favorite cute bsides by Twice Jelly Jelly). Chaeyoung writing a song with some Nordic producers I don't know (but in general Nordic producers do good Kpop tracks). Also those two songs from e.one!! (I love these two producers. They did the bops 9 Muses' Hurt Locker, WG's I Feel You with JYP, WJSN's Secret, April's Tinkerbell)!! Now, I'm just worried about these two songs from earattack but apparently they do good songs for ggs so I'll remain hopeful! I don't know about the rest but I'm sure it'll be good! Since Signal was such a good mini, I expect more quality albums from Twice. I'll now go listen to the title tracks they spoiled on VLive!

WOW I'm glad they wore all the outfits that were in OMT MV.

I have been a Kpop fan since 2010 and for diverse reasons I branched out of Kpop in 2014, promising myself I would never ever get back into it. While I stopped listening to Kpop althogether (I deleted 200+ songs to "cure" myself and be sure not to be tempted to stan again), I was still checking out OH, NB etc. 1,5 after quitting Kpop, I kept hearing bad things about this freshly debuted group Twice. I heard people say they were the worst singers, the worst dancers, the ugliest girls. They had the worst music, the worst MV, were unfunny, boring and lifeless. They got so much backlash my interest got piqued. I had to see what triggered so many people. So one day, I finally decided to get on with it and watch Like Ooh Ahh. The video kept coming up in the recommended videos and the views were rising too so I wondered what was the fuss (besides I remembered all the bad comments I heard on the song and the group itself). Then, bracing up for the worst, I cliqued on the MV. Little did I know, upon first listen, I would immediately fall in love with Twice. The song was so good, the MV was fun and cheesy, the girls were so cute and I was already attempting to do the "leg move" from LOA. Then Momo appeared with her iconic dance break and I KNEW I had to stan them. I do admit I was mad because I expected a trainwreck but I realized people were hating on them for no reason all along! I watched Sixteen straight away and then Twice TV and then Twice TV 2 in one week. Then I started waiting for the newest episodes of TEPL. My bias switched from Momo to Sana to Jungyeon to Tzuyu to finally not caring about a bias anymore! In 2 years (well 1,5 years for me since I got into Twice a few weeks before CU release) of stanning, every moment has been good but if I had to name my best moments, it would be: 1) The night Cheer Up was released. I remember we were all hyped and when the MV dropped the thread moved by 200 pages in 2 hours. It was crazy! And then Twice did so so well we were shookt. Everyday was a Twicecoaster! 2) When Twice won their first trophy. NGL I teared up a little - especially after seeing the girls (minus Tzuyu lol) sobbing so much. After getting nothing in LOA, it was great their hardwork paid off! 3) When Twice won their first daesang at MMA. We were all crossing our fingers CU would win and then when CU actually won and the girls cried I cried too! I hope Twice will go on for many years and every moment will be as good as precious as the ones we shared during these two years!

LOL it seems JYPE understood why Signal didn't sell as much as they expected and corrected it by putting out not 3 but 6 booklets! It reassures me they at least get a grasp of what fans want and give it to them: lots of booklets, photocards and the boxes from Page 2 are back. But photobook = booklet???

Re: OMT's first day sales. I didn't have the time to say some words in the MT but yeah as all of you I'm shook. I was cautiously hoping for 50K first day and 100K first week but Twice comes and shatters everything. They answered some of our questions/assumptions already: yes, Twice can sell their singles too and yes their Japanese fandom is soaring. As Sayuna pointed out in the record thread, Twice used exactly the same amount of versions and gimmicks as for their debut album and sold much better which means they have accumulated a lot of new fans since #Twice release! Now I wonder if OMT will have longevity on Oricon like #Twice did. If OMT sells at the same rate as #Twice did, it can reach 400K according to my calculation (#Twice's first day sales are 46K and overall 242K so the first day sales have been multiplied by 5.2x).The second day sales will be an indicator. #Twice sold 27K on second day which is 58% of the first day sales. If OMT sells more than 40K tomorrow we can be hopeful it'll not only break the record of the highest selling single on oricon by a KPop gg (230K) but also top the singles lists for Kpop groups (261K)!

I just noticed how Likey's aesthetic (and even name) resembles a lot to WG's Like this WG's album title for "Like This" was called "Wonder Party". While I doubt it'll be the theme of the MV (the dance shots were colorful but not in a party-like way), it'll 100% be the theme of the album photobook and music show stages (hoping we'll get dance disco bops in the full album and retro sounding ballads like CLC's Where are you etc). Having watched some of related vids to the ones MyBabyTzuyu posted here, I can tell Twice has a lot of fanboys. Usually, kpop girl groups get a 70/80 fangirls to fanboys ratio so the fact Twice has such a high number of fanboys means their fame goes outside of the Kpop niche - not that we didn't know it already but it's another. This high ratio of fanboys explain also, in part, Twice's sales in Japan. Fanboys tend, in average, to buy more albums than fangirls (for example AKB 48 has a lot of fanboys and can sell millions while Perfume has more female fans and sell less). As for the sales of OMT, I've seen a lot of speculation and I think it's wrong to based assumptions off of other girl groups' performances. Twice appears to be a dark horse following its own pattern. While some Kpop ggs sold more albums than singles (SNSD KARA), it's the contrary for other ggs (Apink, T-ara). So OMT could either outsell or tie #Twice or sell less. I'm most curious to see which pattern Twice will follow. We will find out tomorrow!

TBH while I'm salty we don't get any teaser I think I'd rather nothing the first week and JYPE going all out second week than low quality stuffs just for the sake of feeding us something. edit: but still, we could at least get the timetable or info on the song...
