I feel like he created the voting to get a better view of / a better understanding of who the fans want and all but not to actually give it the power to let it decide something that he might not agree with, if that makes sense? (sorry i am so bad at formulating my thoughts) So I kind of understand why he did it but am definitely not happy with how it all went down. From the get go he should have been clear about how it all counts. In the end the whole show was a big mess and that for me is undeniable. Still so angry about the Silver and Gold cards, even tho they werent used when it came to elimination (thank god), I personally think things like that just dont belong on survival shows.

Why not? I am so pessimistic about the japanese group, i would probably prefer him changing company (which might be selfish) and Cube is really not the worst of the worst. Also they are for sure searching for japanese trainees right now so that helps too.. + about to debut a group. Sorry, i think i'm really desperate about seeing him soon again. :')

Its good to read that but honestly I've seen too much ugliness towards him so its still hard to fully believe that hes actually protected, more like people just tolerate him and turn a blind eye on people talking down on him unless its something really bad. I am really worried about Mashihos (if he really isnt a hidden member) and Jaehyuks wellbeing now. Mashiho is obvious and Jaehyuk... We all talk about how Jaehyuk doesnt come close to the others in terms of talent and how he is lacking etc. but guess who is the one probably most aware of this? Its himself. I dont know him that well but I am sure he must feel very guilty now and feel a lot of pressure. It doesnt even need people to hate on him for that, just all the comments on how it should be someone else (not saying they are false) I cant imagine that it feels good to be so unwanted, feeling like you stole someone elses place and that you didnt even have a choice... YG really threw him to the wolves and I am really hoping he makes it out even stronger. I fully believe that he will improve (whether its singing, rapping, dancing) ... sometimes I wonder if there are things about him that we don't know yet that made YG choose him (after all his overall screentime wasnt much at all) but I dont know what it could be. I know its Mashiho who didnt make it but since Jaehyuk is only mentioned when it comes to talking about him being inadequate I felt the need to say something. Please don't be too hard on him. I also still believe that Mashiho might be a hidden member, but this is not based on evidence or anything, its more just a feeling (because I cant believe that YG would be that stupid). If not in YG then I am sure that there are other companies out to get him and debut him (Cube as example holding monthly audition in Japan). Worst case might be YG debuting him in the Japanese group, because after all the things I read about the jpop industry being monopolised by JE I fear they would go under and disappear unless a miracle happens. Either way I am sure we will see him again, the question is just when, how much and for how long. Yeongue, Keita and Mashiho are like my top three so I am really sad about how things turned out over the course of this show but I will still give these boys my full support, after all I love them all very much and they deserve all the support. PS: I just remembered that i sent a tweet of a translation of what YG said at the final about finding it hard to decide between the 13 finalists and how he doesnt think he will debut more than 7 (which sounded like he still wasnt 100% sure). Thats keeping my hopes up a bit too. I would link it again but idk if i can find it.

He sees the korean trainees at monthly evaluations but what about team j considering they trained in Japan? Makes me wonder ... maybe he just sees videos of them or he actually flies to japan every month for it. Either way its not impossible... there are also lots of people complaining that he already decided the debut line up when he chose treasure 7 and how continueing the show was really unfair and cruel but I dont necessarly agree with that. Like even if that assumption is true, continuing the show has both advantages and disadvantages imo.

I want to say that I am so glad that this thread here and the people posting here exist, as someone who doesnt favor silver boys debuting I feel a bit out of place elsewhere. Sometimes we have people here "attacking" each other as well but its still nowhere comparable to other websites. Also this place is so much better for actually discussing stuff and writing long, "deep" posts about anything, which I love to read and which also probably played a significant part in me being so invested with these boys. (Just came from twitter were a friend just unfollowed me for simply posting my opinion and I was really taken aback by that, I am on twitter a lot so i try to make ygtb stan friends but its hard )

Mashiho too because he is the one we worry about the most and we need those worries to end, which is best achieved by announcing him asap.

I am so confused as to why trainees with earrings or maybe even trainees with dyed hair wont be showed? I read through the explanations posted but it still doesnt make sense to me. Also does that mean that if they dye their hair back and stop using earrings they will be showed again?

I dont see it trending either so I think it probably only trended for a very short time or something is wrong with my/our twitter.

YG really should have announced all 7, 8, 9 or whatever of them right away because this stress is not good for us. One picture, one tweet can completely change our mood to the better or worse. Obviously we can choose not to believe anything we read or see but I feel like there is no way to not be at least a bit affected by what is being spread around. At least that is the case for me... i am trying so hard to think rationally but its still a rollarcoaster ride of emotions. If YG indeed plans to debut a japanese group then we probably won't see any of Team J leave and join another company... If he won't then I wonder if one of them will maybe join Cube, as far as I know they are holding monthly auditions in Japan, so that could be an opportunity for them. (Don't know about other companies rn) Whatever it will be, I sincerely hope they will find happiness and success and that we will be able to see them again soon. This applies to all trainees of course. While I'm glad the show is coming to an end, i'm also really sad because I will miss all these trainees so much. I didnt even watch the show from the start (when I started watching there were already 6 or 7 episodes out) but they all grew on me so much and i got so used to seeing regular videos, pictures etc of them. (Sorry this is a bit messy, i'm brain dead after everything that has been happening today + work really exhausted me too haha)

Fully agree with you. I dont mind Jaehyuk being added but not above Jeongwoo, Mashiho, Yoonbin and Hyunsuk (i cant just give up on him yet, sorry)
