170714 Melon Webzine "Wave" Article (trans: @jiminishell) [idol Research] Collection of idol solo tracks - Boy Band #2 V BTS is sweeping awards from 2016. Their authentic and well-made music fully deserves current fame. None of the BTS members made an official solo debut. However, we can have some hope since they included all members solo tracks in the WINGS album. V is a multiplayer who raps and sings in BTS. He is a very cute and out-of-this-world person, but he totally transforms and captures fans' hearts on stage with tantalizing eyes, wink, and sensual lips. His unique voice is another gem. His voice transforms depending on his position in tracks. He sings in a deep velvety voice, but when he raps, he roars like a tiger. He painted his solo track "Stigma" a little differently. It is subtle but you can definitely feel the different vibe. "Stigma" is a chill and emotional neo soul song. V uses a deep low voice and falsetto on smoky beats and a simple piano melody. The change in singing style leads the dramatic mood of the song. It's one-act-playlike short film supports the story and emotion of "Stigma" which is based on the lyrics written by V. You can enjoy his casual singing in the drama, "Hwarang" OST "It's Definitely You". The deep silky and comfortable voice is one of his strengths as a vocalist. His heavy vocal balances the song with Jin's refreshing vocal and carries sparkling grooves. Original Article: This was definitely a good read. I love that his solo track lets us see and enjoy the versatility and the richness of his voice. Tae on stage is dangerous. He has that magnetic aura that draws you to him and makes you fall for him in a second while being a total sweetheart about it. CR There's honestly a lot of things to love about Tae. He has many quirks and is really a very interesting person to get to know and I feel like the more you know about him, the harder you fall. It's no wonder that he is treasured by everyone around him.
