Hanteo tracks how many albums are sold to the consumers on the day. Pre-orders are retailers that ordered Eunji's albums. They are not sold to consumers YET. They could be kept for display, kept for future re-stocking. Albums could be sitting in the store for months. The pre-orders you are talking about is probably Gaon shipment, which counts in Gaon chart. We are updating Hanteo, which is totally different

Hyuna was never a high album seller to begin with. So yeah,Eunji will outsell Hyuna easily

They want Eunji to win in music show next week, based on digital sales. Then at the following week, the physical score would come along with the digital score (which would by then decrease). So they want to maximise the score and make Eunji win in as many music shows as she can. They already know that VIXX and Yesung will dominate the physical market this week, hence there is no point fighting with them. Plan A has always been good with planning. Do not know why people like to make a fuss about it

1) Why is 30,000 pre-orders not reflected on Hanteo? Because pre-orders =/= actual sales. Hanteo track actual sales (i.e. customer have to buy at least one physical copy to reflect the number). Gaon tracks shipment of albums (i.e. how many albums are going out to music stores/overseas). 1)a) Why is the ratio for Gaon:Hanteo very big then? It is 2:1 I am not sure of this answer. But Gaon does not only count from Hanteo stores, there are many other different stores that are not Hanteo-affiliated. Hence, there is a vast difference between the numbers. 2) What are pre-orders? Music store/retailers pre-order albums to display them for sales. This is why they order more than what is reflected. Do note that Eunji has not sold 30,000 albums. It just means that music stores ordered 30,000 copies of Eunji's albums. Whether Eunji will sell 30,000 copies, you will have to look at Hanteo, whereby every single copies bought are tracked. 3) Why are the albums released a day earlier than the release date?
