I can't wait for them to leave the company when their contracts end (idk when tho) because like I said Yuehua is totally wasting their potential and their youth. Hyeongseop is 21 this year and that's approaching max debut age for many companies so...

They could just crowdfund a new duo album/single TT Hyeongseop voice is so angelic to be wasted.

I think you didn't understand, I have already explained twice. No hard feelings. Just wait it out, you will see. :)

I understand what you say, but it's not what I understand from SM statement. Obviously I want you to be right since Dream is one of my favourite groups.

About this point, do you think they'll be included in 127 too or they'll create a new unit specifically for them? Because U changes members all the time and their releases are always digital and from time to time.

127 doesn't have room for more members, it would be a mess. Renjun and Chenle might join WayV, but I think SM will debut a new units.

Yes SM said exactly what I said, going forward NCT DREAM will have comebacks as ot5/ot6/ot7 and not always ot7.

The second part which you highlighted has nothing to do with Dream. It says SM will allow the 5 members who are only part of Dream to be in any other NCT Units if possible. Doesn't change the fact that NCT Dream will only have the original 7 members going forward (no more or less) and are nowhere near going to break up or become side project.

I know there was a lot of confusion so that's how you wrongly interpreted too.

Also SM announed NCT dream with 7dream as permanent lineup after Dream's massive success in 2019, why would they break up or sideline dream? Their original plan was graduation concept which they sacked seeing how popular the current line up of Dream is.

Saying that they'll carry out activities in a format similar to NCT U and that the members (except Haechan, who already has 127) will join new units makes it sound like it will be a side project (and 2nd priority for the members).

Maybe they'll give more attention to Dream than U has if the new units don't perform as well.

With their success they deserve to be a main group, like 127, with global promotions and full length albums.

No, I will summarise it for you.

    SM said -

    1. They are removing graduation concept from NCT Dream (which means none of the current members leave Dream)

    2. NCT DREAM will consist of current 6 members + Mark "only" (meaning no new person gets added to Dream)

    3. Not all of their comebacks will have ot7, they may have comebacks with ot6, or ot5 as well.

    This is SM Entertainment.

NCT Dream’s future album promotions and team system will be newly reorganized.

First of all, following the release of NCT Dream’s new album on April 29, after these album promotions, there will be a change in the system of the members graduating after becoming 20-years-old. The current members will not graduate, and including original member Mark , the seven members will carry out activities in a format like NCT U with the team name NCT Dream.

Furthermore, NCT Dream’s Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung will join as members of new NCT teams that will be launched in the future based on the directions of their activities, and they will carry out global promotions.

We express deep gratitude to the fans who show lots of support for NCT Dream, and we ask for continuous love and support for NCT Dream and the members.

    Thank you.

    This is SM statement.

They're basically splitting the members into different groups and leaving Dream as a side project.

This is not what Dream deserves given that they are the best performing NCT unit and that they've been together since very young.

to be fair, NCT U never had the physical album release to fully measure their fandom demand, only MV views.  boss didn’t even win on music shows. i absolutely LOVED that lineup but it was probably a way to introduce the new members before sending them into their respective units, like 127 and wayv.

don’t want to jinkx anything but NCT Dream has the sales and more, meaning SM would have to be purposely blind to any and all numbers to suddenly cast them into the dungeon.

(also NCT U did just release that winter song, albeit as a station)

Boss line-up was so good. I would like to see it again (with fair line distribution).
