  1. ahhh oh my is such a cute summer song and their choreo is amazing as always! I love the mv aesthetics, and people were speculating that it's has a lost boys theme? If it's true I cant believe they're finally doing the lost boys concept that we thought mansae was going to be when we saw the teasers haha. I hope their comeback does really well ahmagahplz.png

Sorry guys I have been away from OH for the past few months due to my personal issues

Recently, I just have time and re-start working on the sales thread

Sorry for much inconvenience to you guys :(

Long time no see! Glad to have you back :)

  2. Anyone else lowkey worried for the comeback? It seems like it will be a tropical house style song, and I personally don’t like that type of genre of music. I felt like Thanks was very underwhelming (which was disappointing) and they’ve (atleast personally) gained more attraction from CCC but I feel like it will die down with “You make my day†because of how overused tropical house is, thoughts?

Worried as in worried that you won't like it or that it won't be successful? You're definitely not alone in not liking seventeen's "newer sound" because every comeback there are people who say the same thing. Everyone has different preferences so people are bound to prefer certain comebacks more. I personally really liked Thanks, more than I liked Clap, but both of those comebacks didn't seem to do as well as Don't Wanna Cry which I feel has a lot to do with amount of promotion they did for those albums and the timing of their releases. Pledis always chooses the worst times for them to make comebacks :/

As for Call Call Call gaining more attention than Thanks, a lot of people were anticipating their japan debut due to their large japanese fanbase, so that might be why? Idk tbh because thanks was also their first song to ever chart at #1 on melon. I definitely liked their concept for ccc more though, thanks kind of.. didn't really have a concept..

I don't see the hype dying down from ccc to this comeback song, it doesn't make sense to me that a korean comeback would do worse than a japanese release.. As long as pledis does their job and let svt promote the cb enough. They have tough competition again this time around so it's a bit unpredictable..

I feel like the snippet we heard in the teaser isn't related to the title track for some reason, but if they do end up going the tropical house route as long as the song is good I don't see a problem with it not doing well just because it's a certain genre, I agree though tropical house is kind of overdone now.. they are def still one of the current boy groups with the biggest fanbases so there's that as well :3 sorry for kind of rambling lol I hope what I said made sense

jun got all teary-eyed during his ending ment today rlytearpls.png

"Firstly, I want to say I’m very thankful to our carats and the members. Because initially in the recent schedules in china with The8, I wanted to be confident and thought I could do it alone but when I went up on the stage I was so scared. Since there were no members beside me, and there were staff but no carats below me I was really taken aback in the first rehearsals. So this time while doing this concert I felt that on stage, the members being beside me and carats being below me made me feel so happy and safe, and I really liked that feeling. So thank you so much to the members and our carats! I’ve improved a lot but I hope I can be more courageous from now on to show you a more perfect Jun, and a more perfect performance to our carats. Thank you!"

I love how Mingyu is a perfectionists. He never be satisfied, always aim the best. Wait until think that it is good. Work hard until achieve it.

That was so beautiful I cried rlytearpls.png

  5. I'm not sure it's enough tbh, there's a lot to take in consideration when you want to talk about plagiarism and it gets even more complicated when you add sampling to the possibilities.

I think the best thing to do is quietly bring this up to Pledis and let them decide if they want to take action or not.

is it enough to call this plagiarism? though the whole song doesn't sound alike but the intro sounds exactly the same to Seventeen 'Thanks' and you can still hear it in the background of the whole song. If they sampled it, Woozi better get some credit because he made that. I already saw a bunch of Kpop fans (mainly Carats) on the comment section.

The same beat(?) was also used in a song that was released before Thanks was released. Sadly I can't link it right now because I don't remember the name of the song either but it was on spotify, if I track it down I'll share it. Imo it's possible that this is a dead leaves/deadroses/they never know type situation?
