  1. ehhh how so like a mom? I mean, I know it's supposed to be a compliment. But I think Mina looks her age. And yes, she is a lot thinner this comeback compared to "Ohh-ahh" debut. Not that she was ever fat to begin with, but she's just even skinnier than before. :/ I think it's because of their crazy hectic schedules every day. I mean, have they had a single off day since "Cheer Up" has been released??? They do the Inkigayo, Show Champion, Music Bank, etc. Wouldn't that pretty much be daily performances? Plus the variety shows they attend and the fan signings. While I am overjoyed at all the success this comeback has brought them, I'm sure it also means they aren't leading healthy lifestyles atm. I mean, they're all still growing. I heard you don't stop fully growing/developing until you hit 25 or something. Also, up until now, I've always been a very casual/laidback kpop fan. As in, I will watch the videos, download the songs, and read about kpop news. But lol, don't shame me, I have never bought a single kpop album in my life. This is prob bc the American music industry has stopped really relying on physical albums largely for the past decade. The last physical album I purchased was Aaliyah's posthumous CD because I was a huge fan of hers (RIP). I did buy/download Beyonce's visual album, but I don't really count that bc that's not a physical album. Just a download from iTunes. HOWEVER, I'm considering changing that thanks to TWICE! hahaha. I just wanted to know, what is a legit site to purchase genuine kpop albums???? I know there are a lot of places to buy albums, but I want the real thing and not some pirated crap. Sorry, I don't know much about these things. lol I'm a bit embarrassed.
  2. I think men who have more infantile, baby faces generally do not age very well. This also applies to women with cherub faces. I mean, all of our skin will sag as we get older. But these people generally have rounder cheeks/softer facial features to begin with. When that stuff sags, it is just going to look 100x worse than someone who didn't have such a baby face to begin with. :/
  3. She seriously is just getting prettier by the day. Dang girrrrl. lol Or at least I find that to be the case each time new photos of hers are released in this thread, and what's even more amazing is that most of these photos aren't professional photos; just fan candids from events or her walking. Also, I really like her fashion sense; or whatever the coordi has her wear. But that's also prob bc she's gorg and makes anything look good. Her being a ballerina for so many years makes me want to take up ballet again. lol One comment I've read about her on other kpop sites that bothers me a lot is that some people think she looks old. Like they thought she was the oldest member of Twice bc of her looks. Really? I don't feel this way at all. Is it because she doesn't really do aegyo and is more introverted? I'm now a pretty devoted Mina fan, so reading such a comment kind of bothered me. >____< lol
  4. Oh Myyy (George Takei voice)! She looks absolutely stunning with that crimped hair and mod top.
  5. Well, from everything I've seen from Twice's forum, I think personally I ship Mina with Sana best. Only because Sana seems like one of those really warm and loving people who brings out a lot of warmth from Mina as well. Mina on her own seems like she's kind of reserved and introverted (which is a trait of hers that I really like bc I am like that as well lol). But in pictures of her and Sana together, Mina just looks brighter and super happy. lol I mean, I love all the Twice members. But I admit, from their debut photo for Ohh-Ahh, I immediately noticed Mina in the photo because she looked cool but also sexy? I thought I would stop stanning kpop groups because I'm a bit older than the average kpop fan (as in I'm in my 20s lol >_<). But damn it Mina, she just slays sooo much. I actually visit Mina's thread and Twice's thread almost every day but I never posted. I am happy that all the Mina fans here are so positive and cheerful. It makes me want to be part of this fandom.
  6. Lol, is OTP referring to who do I ship Mina with? I am really showing my ignorance. XD Also, I noticed everyone here has really nice ID pics of Mina/Twice. Do you guys make those yourselves in terms of editing pics and such to make IDs???
  7. I'm glad I was wrong and that EXID took home the win on Show Champion!!!! :D This makes me so happy!
  8. Thank you for your kindness. I do intend to be spazzing here often with everyone! I have followed this thread from the days when it still has 200 some pages. I'm happy to see it is quickly growing. :D
  9. Hi Guys! I joined OH just to be part of this fandom. lol Not too sure how to really navigate the forums or how to get the ID photos. But I am glad that everyone here is a fan of Mina! Also, I do feel a tad embarrassed by my standing of Mina because I am a girl who is older than she is, and I don't think people my age should be standing kpop groups anymore. But Mina for some reason, just captivates me and seems so elegant, cool, but also pretty. >_<
  10. Do you think Hani will still follow through with that path? I mean, she's now a successful celebrity. Of course, I def. think she's smart enough. TBH, I think it would be kind of cool if she did pursue that path and get a psych degree/license to practice after her girl group days are over. This might be weird, but I always kind of imagined her (post EXID) sort of becoming like a celebrity spokesperson advocating for mental health in South Korea. I mean, when Hani does actually speak seriously, she seems to be really intelligent (I am just thinking of the one episode where she was a guest on Same Bed Different Dreams). The suicide rates in the country are the highest among all developed countries in the world, and getting mental health treatment is still somewhat a taboo topic there. It would be cool to see a female Korean celebrity do something productive and empowering with their fame as opposed to simply getting married to a rich guy once they hit their 30s, and become a house wife who stays away from public life. Not that there is anything wrong with being a housewife if that's what you want to do.
  11. I really loved their last album, and this album also slayed me. They are so much more than the Hani fancam that got them noticed (which btw, now has 20 million views!). The only thing that makes me a bit sad is that EXO is going to be releasing their new single soon, and that pretty much means every other group/performer out there right now (and prob including July as well) will have no shot at wins or ranking high on the digital charts. :( :( This makes me so sad. EXID is seriously one of the most talented and unique groups in Kpop right now (among both girl and guy groups). Certainly their company does push a certain image for them. But they've a LE, who I think writes and composes songs that are suited to the talents/strengths of each of EXID's members, and talented vocalists whose voices could warrant a solo career (well maybe not Junghwa, but she's pretty at least, and there are worse singers than her).
  12. Maybe it's because of all the recent and unnecessary hate she's gotten for "crying too much on television." I don't see why there's so much hatred directed at Hani for that because even when she first started becoming big post fan-cam, she also cried on shows but since it was before the Junsu reveal, people back then called her crying "cute." ----> http://www.asianjunkie.com/2016/04/16/hani-is-now-tao-but-do-people-not-get-how-the-backlash-is-related-to-her-dating/ I'm sure she's not only tired from being overworked, but also from all the hate she's been getting for literally nothing. I'm sure she's just drained mentally and emotionally, and might be a tad depressed. Because she is powerless when it comes to crazy netizens who are set on hating her.
  13. Idk if that's them in their bare face (I assume they prob at least have some SPF on bc that's necessary), but I have to say, all of them seem to have really great skin (I can't tell about LE because she's wearing that mask lol). Also, I almost couldn't recognize Junghwa in this picture without makeup. She looks really different in this photo, still pretty, but just different.
  14. Hey guys, I'm a relatively new fan of EXID. I started watching their variety show during their Ah Yeah promotions, and I remember back then, the group was still living together. I just watched a few seconds of the show on their youtube channel just featuring LE, and it seems like now she has her own place (which is great since now she's got much more room for all that badass recording equipment). So do the girls all live separately now?
