  1. 1. To be the "next BTS" K-pop group and its management company should put out years of non-stop hard work and quality music. You can't be "next supergroup" right out of container with #1 BB200 earned through +72 (officially 60) different album bundles and 10 digital albums for the price of 1. 2. MAMA is an Asian Grammy??? Whoever half-assed this article can they just stop writing on topics they have NO idea about? They are too lazy even to google their topic. It's looks more like "professional suicide" attempt.
  2. Half assed shit show organized only for 1 purpose: to get as much money as it's possible. Now we see how those showy flashy events are organised. Poor mess. The level of "professionalism" of korean music shows just incredible.
  3. Forbes Korea and JTBC belong to the same media conglomerate JoongAng. Is it coincidence? Don't think so. More about JTBC and JoongAng - repost from r/bangtan:
  4. Then why Gfriend is not in line up? MBC ignored them just like that? Like "if there's no BTS then we will block Gfriend and TxT from attending gayo" ???
  5. So real winners won't get any compensations. They won't even know that they were real winners.
  6. They never said they apologized. They said that there was no chance of lawsuit happening. Not yet. And that it's regretful their reporter did illegal filming. They didn't address trespassing into private property at all.
  7. Only 6 hours??? Liers. It was happening since day 1.
  8. I'm even in awe how CJ&M released first album without any contracts with members. It shows that you can solve any kind of things wihout official papers in Korea
  9. In the industry where idols are treated as puppets, the company who is the worst of puppeteers asks for idol's opinion to continue or disband the group?! It sounds unbelievable. Like some fantasy or sci-fi. Or even cyberpunk.
  10. They're expensive, they look gorgeous on girls, they're on point. What else needed? Wearing new hella expensive different outfits for different events can hurt the feelings of ordinary people when they struggle with feeding their children properly let alone dressing decently. Especially in crisis S.Korea is facing.
  11. So X1 fans are acting like they're bigger than all groups' fansoms attended the event alltogether.
  12. Yep. But agency is suing them for "defamation" I guess. Even if rumour are true, you still can be sued for apreading info and defamation.
  13. I'm sorry, I had to downvote you for the first time. I don't think that a man who boldly avoided his responsibility as a citizen to serve to his country now acts all desperate to enter the country and to continue to make easy money. I know westerners' mentality is different. But may be comparision with tax avoiders could help. What he did was as wrong as tax avoiders on the West. Edit: and if Korea was his "home country" he wouldn't need visa to enter.
  14. I guess I know what SM spend money for. SM owns artists. But some work (or may be the most part of the work) related to their activity is done by side company (SM's private company). Let's say JYP's revenue is 45B, SM's one is almost 4 time bigger. JYP's operating expenses are around 30B, and SM's one could be around 120B. So meanwhile JYP's operating profit is ~15B, SM's op.profit could be smth like 53B (173B-120B). I mean SM could spend 120B on their activity, but they somehow spent ~153B (173B-19.9B). Where are remained 153B-120B=33B wons??? It makes 33B÷1165=19.7 millions of USD. I guess SM should take contacts of companies JYP works with. They could save 19.7 milions of USD for SM, 20% of SM's expences. Edit: I'm sorry, if my English is not good enough to explain what I wanted.
  15. I wish them good luck. It's not easy to perform in front of A-list and veteran actors and actresses who sit there like a Greek statues just to maintain their cool-ness. Oh no, Greek statues have much more emotions than Blue Dragon participants.
  16. Tbh I have no idea. I don't follow TxT so closely. I'm sorry
  17. Btw BTS don't have to top last year's performance. I hope they know about it and don't feel pressured.
  18. People say TxT's digitals aren't so good thus they can be absent
