They did not poll favorite individual idols for respondents in the age group of 13-29 years old as they did in the last 5 years. This is due to complaints that there were biases against other age groups of respondents that were not included and due to complaints from fans of a single group who saw it as a source of possible antagonism. Why Armys don't complain about "Most handsome face" or "Most sexy idols" or other individual awards but only about Jimin?!

I can get that Armys hate Jimin's individual fans, but to block Jimin cos of his fans sounds toxic to me.

It's the same as shaming BTS cos of their racist and bully fans.

  2. Where can I sign up to stan SOTY and the bestest girls that ever existed?

    I'm totally sold.

And my wife is already planning disco themed party with MAGO as the main course of the evening 😁

It's time to get some muggles.

  3. Sorry for the weird topic, it's just 6 AM here so my English is still sleeping ☺️

So, as I noticed retro-disco-nostalgie kind of music is on trends nowadays, so let's share our favourite 80-90 music!

I remember listening to lots of Italian music, but I never knew who were singers, cos I was still chuld. But I vaguely remember Modern Talking, Sandra, C.C.Catch ☺️☺️. Yeah, European music was superior at those days 🤗

I don't know how to classify these songs, which music genre they belong to, but they are from late USSR, early CIS.

  4. would not restrict market competition.

    😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

That's so funny to hear. It had been decade for Big-3 dominating the market, Naver buying their stocks and promoting their articles and taking down the ones about theit biggest rival, SM blocking their ex-idols from media appearance and don't giving a flying f**k about laws made special for its ex-idols...

And Fair Trade Comission remembered about "market competition" only now???

  5. Offtop: in my country we try not to enlist together with our friend crew. We just go to our locals and ask them to let us enlist on different dates. And they usually understand us and do as we ask them.

Cos we have a prejudice: the whole bunch of dudes get to enlist in force majeure like war for example.

So I'd be glad if my faves got enlisted separately.

And it's better to do everything on its own time I guess.

  6. His dad was working for Germany based company with filial in S.Korea (like BMW or VW, sorry i don't know many Germany based companies) and with years passing by he was promoted as a CEO of the said company in Korea.

On the other hand, "chaebol" means dynasty-run conglomerates like Samsung Group, CJ Group etc., so no, Jin is not chaebol. He just has smart and hard-working dad.

His grandpa was a farmer, and his uncle inherited his farm and developed it. Strawberry farm where the boys took pictures belongs to Jin's uncle.

As I know there's no chaebol-idols. Even Siwon's dad is not chaebol, he's big and successful businessman but not chaebol.

Park Hyungsik was also rumoured to be chaebol, but his dad is also just COO of some automobile company (i'm not sure if the company is originally korean or japanese oike Toyota, so I won't go into details).

If you're going to use some korean terms please make sure you're using it correctly. Google is still free 😉
