  1. Some pages ago someone pointed out that both should count if they're registered in SoundScan, but we don't know if their physicals are registered, whereas digitals are certain.

  3. This much. Just funny how the same people that threw a fit about that RS article that said "while other kpop acts focus on songs about heartbreak and partying, BTS have connected with audiences by touching on topics such as mental health, and even women empowerment", are also mad about this, as if anything deeper than, y'know, parties and heartbreaks, should immediatly be outside of kpop's jurisdiction because fake deep and disrespectful. My thoughts exactly.
  4. right? it has a very epic feeling to it, reminded me of the epic music mixes for board gaming you can find on youtube
  5. I thought the thread was dead, but it turns out i was unsuscribed from it. I don't know if it's a glitch or what, but i remember there were more followers before and now we're at 0. Better late than never, only in piano: - Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata's 1st movement. - Chopin Nocturne Op. 48 n°1, Etude Op. 25 no. 7 in C sharp minor, and March Funebre. Chopin generally has a sad undertone so you should check more of him. - Rachmaninov's Elegie Op. 3 No. 1. - Not really all that sad, but somehow a bit sad: Mussorgsky's The Old Castle and Tchaikovsky's June. Sad pieces with more instruments: - Rachmaninov's Vocalise. - Ravel's Pavane por une infante defunte. - Schubert's Standchen. - Beethoven's String Quartet No. 14 in C sharp minor. On a lighter noter.
  6. ^ Music and artist for healing indeed. Loved to hear how much the mixtape helped him again. And it's great to hear more about First Love's manufacture.
  7. Better late than never. I like Suga as a producer cause he adds lotsa details to keep your ear interested. You can't slack off while listening to his music. Also I agree with Pururin about the atmosphere. He really makes the most of instruments to build an atmosphere. Fun Boys, for example, has this really cool, sorta funky guitar that sounds, well, fun. 724148 has these bass lines going around and making the song kinda daring. The drums in SFA sound so distant in some parts of it, makes it feel weirdly intimate, like a comfy type of loneliness. Bottom line is, you feel some type of way even before reading the lyrics (which later, you realize, are in the same wave). Almost like a blind theatre, if that makes sense. And that's me isolating instruments, because the whole is of course more impactful. The last being the best example of how synergy works on his songs to communicate a message just through music, regardless of lyrics. The Last's how inner turmoil sounds. More than a song, he delivers a feeling, which is an amazing trait as a producer.
