  1. I loved this interview. The interviewer asked all the right questions It really gave me a lot of hope for the new album
  2. Tell me about it. These days its getting harder to feel any support for other YG endeavors because I'm just sick and tired of all these delays.
  3. Wow! The people holding the camera were so close to Dara Do you think I have any hope of 2NE1 ever coming to Canada and me being that close to them?
  4. My favourite song was Go Away but I really liked Love is Ouch (still waiting for the day that I here that live) and You and I
  5. Wow! How did that happen? Last time I was there CL was losing
  6. I was just watching 2NE1's old MVs and I almost started crying because of how much I missed them. It hurts knowing that its probably going to be at least two months (hopefully) until their album comes out.
  7. I've noticed that there's a lot of Daralings these days that don't really ship Daragon anymore. A lot of Daralings also really like Chaera interaction. I don't think CL haters are really restricted to just Daralings these days but can also be Bombshells and Minjas as well IMO its people who may like one member of 2NE1 far more than they like the group itself that are more likely to be a CL haters. Since CL is a very integral part of 2NE1, hating CL is pretty much like hating the group and what they stand for. All it shows is that they value their own bias more than the group 2NE1.
  8. If a skin whitening agent is from a soap or lotion, I personally don't consider it as anything like surgery. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't most skin whitening soap just remove dead skin cells faster which allows your skin to be lighter. I don't personally use it myself but I know someone who does and its not something that happens super quickly, it takes time.
  9. Oh really? Thanks for telling me. I just saw it on allkpop and I got excited. I didn't bother to double check because I was supposed to be studying for my midterms. Do you know who won?

  11. I think everyone is misunderstanding the issue of 2NE1 not being able to have a proper comeback. It has little to do with them being unable to compose their own songs and everything to do with YG being unable to to manage his artists properly. I might have agreed that 2NE1 apparent inability to produce songs was the source of their problem if I didn't know for sure that the songs 2NE1 had been planning to release in their new album had already been prepared over a year ago. The only ones who had a proper comeback this year was Lee Hi and GD. Even Seungri who helped to produce all of his songs from his new album promotion ended up being half-assed. I think that some people forget that Teddy is a darn good producer. Pretty much every single song in 2NE1's previous album were good songs with no fillers. There is not that many producers in Korea who have created as much hits as Teddy as. I know his two previous songs for 2NE1 didn't do as well but they were still two very solid songs and even the best of producers can't always create hits all the time. I still have faith in him as 2NE1's main producer and I'm going to hold until that faith unless 2NE1's songs from their upcoming album end up being complete crap. As I stated before, I do wish 2NE1 would start producing their own stuff but if what they produce isn't at least almost up to par as what Teddy produces, I'd rather they didn't. You might say that Big Bang and 2NE1 are treated the same but they're not. If they were, 2NE1 would be able to go on variety shows when they wanted to, they'd be able to appear on drama's and movies when they wanted to, they'd be able to appear on musicals if and when they wanted to and they's be able to choose which CFs they want to appear in. All these things they barely have any say in. I do believe though that 2NE1 and Big Bang were trained in a somewhat similar fashion. That is why there were far more occurances of CL writing more of her own stuff when she first debuted than there are now. But I also believe that YG has a lot of sway in the behaviour of his artist. If he thinks something isn't good he'll tell you straight to your face that it sucks. I think that's one of the reason that Taeyang's new album took so long to be made because he wanted to get YG's approval. Being told you suck constantly isn't going to make you feel any better and its going to make your afraid of even trying. The formula for 2NE1 has worked for so long with having Teddy produce their songs. I think 2NE1 and YG even is scared of changing that. If anyone in 2NE1 does and it ends up being received poorly, they would have felt that they failed the rest of their group members. To them it may seem that a much more safer situation is to just keep letting Teddy do what her does and leave the burden of the success and failure of a song to him. I think with a solo song/album they wouldn't feel as a afraid to make their own stuff because if it did being received badly they would have only failed themselves. I think its pretty much the same situation in Big Bang. GD writes their songs with TOP helping here and there while Seungri and Taeyang just work on their own stuff. Honestly though if the true reason that YG did stop caring about 2NE1 was because they haven't produced any of their stuff, then he's just a bad businessman. 2NE1 is a brand that can get people interested in something just because their name is on it. That brand still has a lot of worth and discarding a brand for such a silly reason like that is just being stupid. No one cares if Britney writes any of her songs or not yet pretty much every one of her singles end up being hits. Why? Because Britney's name is on it. YG can still make a lot of money from 2NE1 without them producing their songs. Edit: I didn't realise that my rant was so long. Btw Konphuzed, this rant wasn't only for you I just needed to get somethings off my chest that has been bothering me for a while
  12. I think your comparison between 2NE1 and Big Bang is unfair. G-dragon was the only one who really took part in the production of Big Bang's albums until the Tonight album when T.O.P started helping out. That means for 5 albums earlier the rest of Big Bang were being lazy as you call it. Without GD, Big Bang would be in the same boat as 2NE1. Taeyang never really had a part in the production of his two previous solo albums but I commend for being a part of the production of his new album. Seungri played an active part in the production of his two albums but I want to remind you that he did this after 5 years of debuting in Big Bang and being able to oversee of the production of 5 albums before. I don't think Daesung ever took part in production of any of Big Bang's albums or his own but correct if I'm wrong. 2NE1 has only released three albums so far and they haven't had as much time to develop musically as Big Bang. Maybe they will eventually start producing their own songs or maybe they won't. We can't know for sure. I do agree though that it seems that they don't seem to be wanting to gain more production experience. I think that wierd because when they first debuted, they seem to show an interest in producing their own songs, especially CL and Minzy. CL has taken part in writing lyrics for non-2NE1 songs but almost everything she's written has been in the earlier part of her career. Both 1TYM and Big Bang had this one person in their group who would help to produce their songs until the other members became more comfortable in writing their own stuff as well. 2NE1 never had that. They only have Teddy. My dream for 2NE1 is that they be one day be able produce their own songs but I doubt they may ever do that. I think your judgement on 2NE1 is too harsh and you should give them a couple more years to prove themselves before totally giving up on them
  13. Chen won the dance contest that the SKT LTE CF people made. I think it was a public vote and he seems to have won by a bug percentage because of his amazing dancing skills cr:allkpop
  14. In the statistics it shows that a ton of Chinese people voted for Shinhwa, Are they really popular in China or something?
  15. I voted How often can we vote? Is it a one time thing or can you vote on a daily basis?
  16. Maybe she was featured in Taeyang's album Crossing my fingers and hoping its true
  17. Seungri's song didn't so well in Korea because he isn't liked by the public in but he is still backed by the much bigger VIP fandom which helped with his album sales. 2NE1 songs did a little better than Seungri's but our fandom isn't even half as big as theirs. I hope 2NE1 will be able to break 100k but I don't really have much hope
  18. Pre ILY era no one in 2NE1 really had flattering clothes - sometimes Bom lucked out though. They were always marketed to be fierce rather than attractive and their clothes and makeup reflected that. The tons of eyeline and the huge spikes on their clothing usually didn't look good but it made a statement.
  19. What the hell I think that's stupid. What reason could CL have to delay the comeback?!? She's probably one of the most anxious in 2NE1 to get back unto the stage I've really don't understand why so many people don't like CL, not only so called blackjacks but people outside the fandom. She always seems to get the blame for things like this
