The car scene would definitely have made things more interesting. I for one was hoping that they would have brought the dancer from the MV. I don't think he would have taken away from the raw feel, he might have even enhanced it and he would added more oomph to their performance

The whole show was underwhelming TBH. The only saving grace to this years MAMA were Big Bang and Stevie Wonder Last year MAMAs and the year before were better I was really proud of Bom and Minzy. They did sound pretty great. Dara's had only a few lines in the songs and the backtrack was really loud and the mics weren't loud enough so it was hard to hear her voice. Anyway, I'm hoping their next performance of Missing You won't be as underwhelming and everyone would sound great

I just watched the performance again and it isn't as bad as I said it was before. As a user said before me, the performance depended on two things. Their vocals and the atmosphere. Their vocals were ok (CL could have sounded so much better though) but the atmosphere was so wrong. It didn't feel sad at all, it had more of an air of desperation to it than anything else. They should have a gone down similar a route as it Hurts in terms of the stage arrangement. All the It Hurts perormance stage designs and lighting went really well with the theme of the song. This stage didn't really the song well. Both the stage props and lighting weren't quite right. It didn't project much sadness which is a very important part of creating the right atmosphere.

Not really so much jumping arounf but there were other things they could have done. Have you ever watched so of Big Bang's Haru Haru perfomances? They don't do move around during a lot but the performance is still very interesting to watch

I can't even bring myself to watch the performance. Its not good at all. They looked too nervous, they weren't doing anything interesting onstage so it was really boring and the mics sucked ass. I was hoping they would impress with this performance and their sales would rise but that's not happening. First time I've ever been disappointed in an award show performance from 2NE1 Next time they should practice more and Mnet should find get a better sound system. What's the point in having getting so many people to perform if you can't both to make sure the mics are good? Blackjacks were really hoping they would slay. I hope they'll be able redeem themselves in the future with a better performance. Anyway I still love 2NE1 but really disappointed

I really don't understand why people are so offended about Matthew Knowles comment. I've always considered them one of the best performers in kpop. They know how to keep things interesting and that's one of the main reasons why 2NE1 is my favourite group

Agreed. I really liked DYLM and I've been listening to it again recently and its not something that bores me easily. I'm sure that the song would have been better received if the MV had been high budget. It wouldn't have been done as well as IATB but it wouldn't have done as poorly as it did either. I liked the homestyle MV they had for DYLM but that type of MV is only something the fans would appreciate. I don't really think it was appropriate for this song and I still wish they could have had an MV that represented the style 2NE1 is knows best for.

I'm operating on EST as well. Even though I do have lectures tomorrow I'm probably going to end up staying awake. I have an assignment that's due and I haven't really gotten much of it done because I've been too busy spazzing over 2NE1. I'l probably pull an all-nighter trying to get my research paper done while watching segments of the show.

I haven't said anything about my reaction to the MV/song. I really like it a lot but it was a grower for me. I have to admit when I first heard the song I though it was really weird, it took a couple listens for me to process everything but the more I listen to it, the more I appreciate it. With that being sad, most slower 2NE1's songs take longer for me to warm up to but when I finally do, they usually end up being one of my favourites. The MV was beautiful and really well thought out. You could see that YG had finally gotten his sh*t together for this MV. I really want it to do well. So very badly. My only criticism of the song is that Dara didn't get enough part. This is the least amount of lines she's ever gotten and the sad part is that she's improved so much since debut. If they weren't going to give her lines they should have at least made her a more predominant part of the MV. I'm hoping that the lack of lines for Dara won't be highlighted in their performance as that would be really awkward. The first few times I listened to this, I felt a whole swarm of emotions. I felt sadness but there was something more. I can't really explain it. My favourite parts of the song is we definitely Minzy's opening and Bom's ending. I loved both CL's and Minzy's "Missing You's". I really enjoyed Dara's lines and facial expressions in her parts. I'm so glad that CL's nude scene was tastefully done, I was really worried when I heard about but it really ended having an artistic feeling to it and it really displayed the vulnerability that this song was trying to convey. I love the little adlibs too because their a great reminder that this was a 2NE1 song that could only be song by them. This song is probably one of Teddy's best produced work. Its not as simplistic as his earlier works but he was still able to retain the rawness of the vocals.

We never know we can still have hope. ILY did well because the song was anticipated for a year. Most people have stopped anticipating 2NE1 songs. If we weren't able to obtain a PAK with this song I wish we can at least obtain longevity. I don't really think Crayon Pop's song ever made it to number one but they still ended up having a good number of downloads for a nugu group. I'm hoping for the same success for 2NE1 but to a greater extent. The song is a grower just like Barx3 was and it seems to have received mostly positive reviews so far

If they deliver a great performance in MAMA, it should help to boost their sales. I'm hoping that this new song will beat the sales of ILY

judging from the amount of likes, I'll say that 2NE1 has more that 3 million views already. I'm hopping its up to 4m but I think that may be too optimistic

Apparently Dara's Mandarin in the video was really good. Some Chinese people who have watched the video say that they can understand Dara clearly

The weirdest part is that I already heard rumours about CL's semi nude scene hours ago I was lurking through allkpop a while back (don't judge me. I don't eve have an account there I just go there to laugh at the comments) and a troll made an assumption that if one of the members didn't have to pay for their outfits then CL would be naked in the MV. No one believed it but I see the troll was actually pretty spot on
