  1. the same people who loved ikons anthem and gtops zutter are hating this release even tho it's a straight Teddy track with a better beat than the others .... :imstupid: :imstupid: :imstupid:

not targeting anyone of you tho lol

i love all 3 songs btw haha

The beat and instrumental of Hello Bitches was awesome while CL's rapping could have been better.

I really liked the MV, the choreography was amazing. The song was decent. It's not the best thing I've heard but not the worst but it can be addicting. I probably wouldn't have downloaded it if it wasn't free.

All in all it was a good buzz song to get people excited for her next releases.

  2.

    I think voting is over

it won't let me vote anymore...

Thanks for letting me know. On the website, it said that the poll would end 5PM EST but I don't think it accounted for Daylight Savings which moved the clocks back 1 hour on Sunday. It's a good thing I managed to vote just before 4PM then

  4. kinda nervous about the attention Yuju gets. if she gets positive responses i hope it doesnt turn into negative responses for the group as a whole ie Suzy vs Miss A. I hope people remember that its not necessary to bring down the group and praise only one member. But with some of the translated comments i see, it really feels like its leaning that way.

and hope source can push Sowon bc shes the most invisible member rn but seeing as shes planning on going to university next year it probably wont happen.

Yeah I'm a little worried about that too but I'm hoping Gfriend takes the A Pink route and not the Miss A one. Eunji who initially generated public interest for Apink. I remember that people used to bash Apink using Eunji saying Eunji is the only good thing about Apink... etc. Now other members have decent public recognition such as Naeun and Bomi and the reason for that is because the company promoted them. If the company only promotes Yuju then we would have something like the Suzy or Hyuna. If the company tries to promote the members more equally then Gfriend would be more similar to APink or SNSD where one or two members may be really popular but all the members and their strengths are known by the general public. I still believe that the company is heading towards the equal promotion route but are also currently right now trying to capitalize on Yuju's popularity which she definitely deserves.
  5. did u guys see the other teasers ?

her mouth shape is looking kinda off, very V-shaped jaw, reminds me of Jawssica's iconic jaw-job.

IDK, she is one of my ultimate KPop biases and my fav in f(x), but I'm not sure about this dramatic change. Not to mention her stick-thin figure.

Until you said f(x), I had no idea that was Luna :derp:

I'm not even trying to be a hater. Luna's my favourite member of f(x)

  6. Thanks for your long response, I appreciate that. I like Gfriend, but I'm aware of their weaknesses. I think there's a gap between the good and not so good singers in the group, I came to this conclusion by watching their live performances. When I said Eunha is not there yet, it's because I believe Eunha showed potential, she has a sweet voice, but in a group i think she needs to have a more distinct singing voice. When Yuju sings, her vocal is so different from the others, it stood out too much that made me feel a little weird. Eunha needs to be the bridge between Yuju and others, to harmonize / even out the disparity. If Yuju is the high notes, then Eunha need to be lower or stronger, not sweet, or vice-versa. I agree with you on Eunha trying a softer acoustic ost, i think her voice is really suitable for that (made for solo singing). Anyway, just my opinion, i don't know what i'm saying.

Sowon so pretty, but as a leader, i have higher expectations of her. She needs that stage presence to propel her group to the next level. Otherwise Gfriend would just become Yuju and the girls (I'm an example of this type of fan because Yuju and her shoes made me check out Gfriend, i believe many others new fans are the same).

I've never felt like Gfriend was Yuju and the girls. Yuju has the potential to be someone like Hyorin because she's so talented even when it comes to dancing but the company never promoted her of Gfriend as such. The members get pretty even lines in songs except for maybe Sowon. They've only had two promotions so far but it already feels like each member is given a chance to have the spotlight. During debut, Yerin and SinB got quite a lot of singing lines and screen time in the MV. They were also in the front for most of the dancing. With this CB we saw more singing from Umji and Eunha. I like the fair promotional tactics that Source is so far doing with Gfriend. No one is being pushed far above the rest of the other members and they're all given little chances to shine especially when its something that they're strong in. One example being Umji who usually sings a Disney covers during the radio shows. She's not the strongest singer but I like that main and lead singers who are given chances to sing I'm radio shows. It will help her gain more fans and hopefully also help her to improve her singing.

  7. So basically Yoona got cheek implants? Cause she was so skinny and her eyes ddint match her body at all cause it looked so round.

That explains a lot, but does Sooyoung gets those implants? She is also very skinny but has a rounder face that just doesnt match her body.

It also depends on your weight fluctuations. There are people with naturally chubby cheeks but these cheeks tend to go down as they age or as they lose weight. It is impossible for someone to lose weight in their body but gain fat on their cheeks which is what happened to Yoona. Her face was hollower as a teenager. I'm not as familiar with Sooyoung and she doesn't seem to have as much weight fluctuations so it would be harder for me to tell.
  8. Did you guys saw this? Poor Yerin, omg...

I go to hell for laugh

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOX4IAtb4Ww&feature=youtu.be

    I lol'd too

Something like this was bound to happen eventually and at least no one was seriously injured.

Also we can definitely tell they were singing live because we heard Yerin's little shriek [emoji14]

They all acted very professional in the end and didn't let the small mistake bother them which is good :ahmagah:

  9. Fuse: CL Shines in Insane "Doctor Pepper" Vid With Diplo, Riff Raff & OG Maco

If the Atlanta-style rap record "Doctor Pepper" was the swaggering first taste of CL's upcoming English album, then its insane new video is proof that one should expect the unexpected when it comes to the K-pop superstar.

The visual features the 2NE1 member rapping alongside Diplo, Riff Raff and OG Maco, but we can't take our eyes off CL. Watch above as she raps and rocks a slew of awesome outfits, the best one incorporating a leather cap with a floor-length head scarf coming out of it. She's serving more attitude than we've ever seen from her, flicking off the camera and serving a stank face that would make Rihanna proud.

Look out for loads of trippy visuals too, including animated dinosaurs, Pikachus and Dr. Pepper cans floating around the screen as we're taken from the backseat of CL's limo to Riff Raff's mansion party along with a late-night Diplo party featuring a brigade of butts.

When "Doctor Pepper" premiered, Diplo said he's working on new music with the rising MC/singer to "keep CL positioned where she belongs—as the baddest coolest female out right now." This video should only further help music fans see what Diplo sees.

Billboard: Watch Diplo, CL, Riff Raff & OG Maco Get Weird & Party Hard in 'Doctor Pepper' Video

Who steals the show in the new “Doctor Pepper†video: K-pop superstar CL or the team of booty-short-wearing twerkers?

Either way, the video is here and so is the soda, which makes a brief cameo every now and then (see 2:30). Ice, on the other hand, does not.

Each “Doctor Pepper†character -- Diplo, CL, Riff Raff and OG Maco -- has a moment to shine in what looks like an excessively messy house party. Ultimately, the Mad Decent stars share the spotlight in a gathering your mom wouldn’t want to come home to (it's also an experience that would repulse any clean freak and/or feminist).

Yet, it doesn’t look like this crew is asking for anyone’s approval. They get to hang out on top of green stretch limos, dance in parking lots and have their face taped to butts (yeah, ask Diplo). Really, what more could you ask for?

Spin: CL Steals the Show in Diplo’s Massive ‘Doctor Pepper’ Video

Diplo’s new â€œDoctor Pepper†video has everything you’d want from a posse cut: K-pop superstar (and buzzy new Stateside talent) CL, Atlanta rapper-of-the-moment OG Maco, and WWE star and 10,000 out of 10 stars rap game Tony Danza, RiFF RAFF, all vamping like it’s the end of times.

“Doctor Pepper†is one of the Best Songs of 2015 So Far, and it’s largely due to Diplo’s eye-clawing synth stomps and CL’s attitude-laden chorus and first verse. The 24-year-old is only just starting to break in mainstream U.S. circles (though she’s been at it for quite some time now), and deservedly so: She’s exploding with personality, her charm and snark reverberating through the screen as she sneers, glares, and works the camera. There’s a part where CL’s just standing there firing off a tweet in the dark and she’s still more iconic than most pop stars doing it today.

Nylon: Diplo's "dr. pepper" video is predictably insane

feat. riff raff, cl, and og maco

There was no way the video for Diplo's gonzo collaboration "Dr. Pepper" was not going to be batshit crazy, and guess what—it is! The schizophrenic clip features Diplo, Korean popstar CL, Riff Raff, and OG Maco going bananas on top of a green stretch Hummer, plus doing all sorts of other music video things like walking in slow motion, giving the middle finger, and tossing confetti at dancing women. It's basically your typical rap video with some genuinely weirdo flourishes thrown in for good measure. Also, note to Fox Studios: this is what a real Fantastic Four looks like.

Hypetrak: Diplo, CL, RiFF RAFF & OG Maco – Doctor Pepper

Diplo teams up with South Korean superstar CL, RiFF RAFF and OG Maco for “Doctor Pepper.†CL lays down a catchy hook you’ll find stuck in your head almost immediately. Cue RiFF’s Versace rhymes and OG Maco’s Atlanta-style flow and you’ll find yourself driving backwards through Rome in a Range Rover, blaring “Doctor Pepper†on repeat all day long. Co-production on “Doctor Pepper†by Swizzymack while the legend Mike Dean provided the proper mix and mastering.

  10. Does anyone what this performance was for? I've never seen it before.

I didn't even know that Me Gustas Tu could be performed with microphones. The mic passes were slick. I prefer it when idols sing with actual microphones, their voices usually sound clearer and louder. I wish gfriend would do more of their performances with microphones but in this performance they look a little tired.
