  1. Well I still needed to keep it comprehensive why over complicate things? My goal was not to confuse them because obviously they still were confused about the subject matter. I am aware of what I left out not that I didn't find it important, but I just didn't feel the need to talk about and risk even more confusion. Why write a whole paper about something that's going to be filed in the "I still don't understand this" folder? Now my explanation may not be satisfactory for you, however I wasn't trying to remedy your confuse; you know what you're talking about. If they're still confused and I need to explain further, well then I will. I have no problem with that. And let's be real breaking down the physiological description of any singing contemporary or classical would make anyone's head implode. I mean we definitely don't go over minute detail when it comes to contemporary singing. Breaking down the complete physiology of anything would be impractical and incomprehensive. Anyway, I hope you understand what I did and what I didn't do.
  2. Wait....THERE'S MORE!??? That's the word saturated, yes, that. I really wish they use better color palettes maybe they wanted the colors to be more kid friendly? Lol
  3. No problem, I feel a lot of people were confused.
  4. Omg I agree so much the textures on the 3DS are so bland they have no depth.. I wish there was more vibrancy it's very pastel.
  5. So this month if you don't have the code, the Pokemon they give away as a free gift is Zygarade... I literally have three of them.
  6. Guys..keeping the larynx low is no kind of magic or sorcery..it's actually fairly natural. Opera is the most natural way for humans to vocalize it's definitely the most efficient. An opera singer keeps their larynx down with their breath..they aren't pushing it down with their tongue or forcing it down with their jaw like most contemporary vocalist. Really guys when you take a good low breath your larynx goes down like it's supposed to same when you yawn. It's doing something that is 100% natural for it to do. When the larynx goes down it creates space for the air to go in essentially it's opening the throat so you can take an efficient breath. What pulls the larynx down when you breathe is a set of muscles below it, of course these are involuntary muscles, but they can be "controlled." What a classical does is essentially they just try to work on keeping their larynx low with the breath similarly to how a contemporary vocalist works on keeping their larynx neutral when they take a breath. A common practice to do is start in a lower portion of the voice where the larynx is naturally lower and then try to keep it low as you go higher. I felt you guys actually needed an explanation of this..because it seems to be a common topic of discussion, but y'know I've never seen anyone try to explain it sooooo here you go. 7. Christina is definitely a Mezzo-Soprano she just knows how to strain her voice in ways that makes people think she's a Soprano, but she's definitely a Mezzo. Sent from my RCT6303W87DK using Tapatalk
  8. Okay so you said Mariah Carey has F3 ~ C#5 that's really no different than TaeYeon, Wendy,Jimin,Eunji who are ALL around that supported are. JiMin is F#3/G3~C5/C#5 which is only a semitone above Mariah's supported range. Some of Mariah's runs currently have been kind of sloppy, at least from what I have heard..so I don't really think that's her saving grace. I'm also not sure about Mariah and her head voice either..because she's never really used it and if she did it had more of a falsetto quality, I also doubt it's supported high because I know her C6s in Infinity were messy. Mariah is not without pitch issues, no is she is not..everyone in the competent essentially has "pitch"..that's really vague actually.. and her whistle register is irrelevant because it's not really important to singer, I mean it's called the "useless register." I don't know exactly where Mariah Places..but she's not really up there with the likes of Son SeungYeon, Ailee, Haeri etc...at least I don't believe so
  9. No, I don't really think that A4 was supported..it seems kind of just thrown to me.
  10. There is no correlation between the two. A lighter mix does not mean you'll be able to do head voice easier because they have nothing to do with each other. The mixed voice and head voice are to different things that are not dependent on each other. The mix and head voice are trained separately so they don't really influence each other.
  11. Sorry, I had nothing to do with this..this was all Haruko and Matheus as well as the publisher of the video. Didn't even know this was being made lool
  12. Watching her geek out was literally the CUTEST thing ever...
  13. I'm sorry, I don't recall them lool. I was just listening without really pay attention to time stamps or anythign
  14. What I meant is that is is accepatabble to call D5 apart of support range even though some of the D5s were a little bit strained/tensed and not all resonant and supported. Lol don't worry about, I wasn't very clear to begin with.   Yeah that's the right word and you're very right.
  15. Some her D5s were better than others. Some were a little tense, some were supported, some resonant all within the realm of acceptability. Her Hoot and Green Light D5s were generally really good. It's hard to judge concert because they're doing so much because I know a lot of those songs either came towards the middle or the end of the show so she's definitely feel fatigued.
  16. The scale down was better than the scale up. Make sure your being really sensitive to the pitch. Also the sound is too bright, bring your corners of your mouth in.
  17. So I finally evaluated everyone's 15& Immortal song performance responses it wasn't too bad so good job to everyone who participated. next assignment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nacc-Bhe72Y Analyze her
  18. No, that isn't really what I meant. What I meant is that Wendy has more a connected and fuller sound in like her chest voice, lower register etc., the way she manages her breath in those areas is better than TaeYeon.
  19. I know Matheus has already answered this question, however I feel I should also answer because I will have analyzed both. Taeyeon has more consistency on C5/C#5 because she has D5 so of course that's going to happen. Honestly, I really don't feel Wendy's mix gets any lighter than Taeyeon's..Wendy is actually chestier than Taeyeon quite consistently. Yes, TaeYeon has more mix resonance, but Wendy has more head resonance so that balances at really. Also Wendy manages her support better. Now this may sound weird, but Wendy, actually supports her voice more than TaeYeon. Wendy is pretty always strongly connected to her support system so her sound is very full, rich, and connected something that Taeyeon can be lacking Wendy's legato is extremely smooth because her voice just has so much support behind which is very important. I know this sounds weird, but if you listen to them and really try to hear this I feel you could, but this really does take an advanced ear to hear this. Really, Wendy's lack of resonance in the mix is definitely not because of a lack of support she's just not manipulating her vocal tract to the best, but she's always very open on her mix notes. But anyway, because of how well Wendy manages her breath support compared to Taeyeon I believe she has more of an edge.
  20. Omg *tears* I have Celebi and Victini..I need Meloetta...it would be the only legendary I use lool
  21. They were giving away Mew??!??! I am sad now v.v lol I have so many legendaries. What they need is a Meloetta event...yes..I would jump on that lol.
  22. Yeah, you're not going to die from that...I don't believe so. Singing is a physically thing soo yeah.
  23. I couldn't tell you. I mean...I don't know.     Really? it's on the "the team page"
  24. Really Keith? I mean seriously? That was completely uncalled for. Why is it that you have to take ever chance you get to be over the top? You picked the wrong day to be "shady." It's just annoying and uncalled for. Why can't you just get your point across? I don't see why you had to drag me and my work into this at all. I really don't. I didn't find it funny or cute.
  25. No I haven't posted it yet, I didn't even grade the 1st one yet. I'm sorry everyone who is waiting for their answers. Unexpected events and situations kept me from sitting down grading. Thank you for your patience.
