  1. which one is the most plausible for the 'to be continued'?

    1. winter repackage (i really hate this one like bish at least wait for full album to pull this, our money dont fall from the sky)

    2. twice is changing lane to pick up somi (the timing is perfect, just right at ioi's last promo, i dont mind tbh, i like her)

    3. leading to a twice web drama but we have to complete the youtube quest to unlock each ep ( im praying for thisss)

    4. nothing deep, just something like got7 flightlog series, lane 2 album in 6 months time! (lel)

same! too busy jamming to TT  :megusta:

Somewhere said that odd number group is easier to do dance choreography. And Somi said herself that the company and her haven't discussed anything yet.

I'm expecting another tv series. Or maybe something with the other JYP members, Christmas song?

  2. I'm happy that Bohyung won (she was the girl I was most biased toward) but I don't know why they didn't release the final scores. Or at least, I hope they released the final scores to the girls competing. (When actually adding up from first and second round, the second round scores must have been low for the other girls.) I think ultimately the show did what it set off to do, showing different sides of the girls. I have major respect for Kei and Seunghee, reaffirmed my interest in Ladies Code, and learned about Bestie. (And of course, the other lovely ladies on the show.) BBQ for the win!

  3. There, finished watching first 2 episodes, so here will be my take on those 8 performances.

First, I'll say that they all delivered, in the sense that nobody felt like a dancing black hole. They all gave at least good and entertaining performances, some better than others, sure, but nobody sucked or was dragging along like a dead weight.

Ten: I was very pleasantly surprised by his performance, and I think it's pretty much my favorite out of the eight. He's a stellar dancer, sharp, precise, smooth and expressive as hell, he managed to shine plenty among his back-up dancers, and was on point from begin to finish. It also helps that he looks like an absolute shy cutie pie off stage, providing a stark contrast from when he's performing. I really loved his hands movements and overall choreography, it conveyed the feeling of exorcism well and it was just awesome.

Bora: I'm both disappointed and proud of her. Disappointed because she clearly gets overshadowed by her dance partner, but proud because she still managed to deliver regardless of not being the best on stage. She had crazy synchronicity with her dance partner, and the dance itself was very creative and also on point with the satanic witches theme. Overall, it was a good performance, and she danced well, though I expected a bit better of her, but I'm satisfied with what she showed. She was very much in character as well, and had pretty damn good expression, those I didn't think she was capable of, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Momo: I think she might be my favorite performance of the 8 after Ten's. Her expression were on point from beginning to end, she was totally in character, and some parts were just crazy good in terms of execution and choreography. My main grip would be that other parts of the choreo weren't as intense and attention-grabbing, which in turn weakened a bit the overall level of the performance, but it was definitely not a problem of execution, rather than choreo. I find that she can lack emotion in her performances sometimes, but she definitely delivered there, so my main fear about her performance was put to rest. She managed to shine among her back up dancers, and she was on point.

U-Kwon: For the 35 seconds that he danced, he danced pretty awesomely well. Which sucks, because dancing clearly wasn't the main focus of his performance. He made for a very crazy and convincing Joker, and was crazy good at it, totally in character, but I still wished he had danced way more than he did, because most of the time, it felt like his backup dancers did the job while he was acting, not dancing. Regardless, despite not being an awesome dance performance on his part, it was definitely an impressive and good performance overall. I just wish he'll focus more on the dancing part in future performances.

Hyoyeon: Oh, my girl... Maybe I expected too much, I don't know, but I was a bit disappointed. I know she tried to step out of her comfort zone, and props to her to daring to do it, and she was good regardless of my disappointment. But not as good as I expected her to be. Her usual presence and charisma were not felt here, and her moves didn't leave much impact in my mind. If anything, it felt she was carried by her back up dancers a lot, which overshadowed her own dancing and stage-presence. I know she can do way better than that, and I'll be waiting for it!

Shonwu: He was okay, but I found him stiff in his movements several times. He also did that mistake which probably sucked the confidence he had for the rest of the performance. I enjoyed the creative makeup part, but I felt he wasn't much in character for most of the performance, and looked like someone tense trying to focus on doing the dance right, rather than enjoying it and being it. I hope he'll be more at ease in future performances, I wanna see him unleash his full potential.

Hoya: So, Joker number two, with a whole lot more of dancing this time. He delivered nicely, though I really didn't feel his rendition of the Joker character, who felt more like a horny teenager, than the Joker. Pardon me the comparison, but in terms of acting and getting the persona of the Joker right, U-Kwon was definitely above Hoya. However, what Hoya lacked in acting, he compensated in dancing. He might not have been really in the theme, but he danced well, with precision, sharpness and control. I'd say he lacked fluidity, but I'd be nit-picking. That T-shirt tearing at the end, was not really necessary, and even more out-of-character than he already was, so that's a bummer for me, but probably not for the fangirls who witnessed it live.

Taemin: I was rooting for Taemin, like, really. I'm still rooting for him, I know he can deliver amazing dances. But this one was just good, not great or awesome. He got Bora'ed, in the sense that his dance partner was clearly better, but even worse than Bora, they weren't in sync most of the times either. I also wished he had performed something specifically made for the show, like all the other contestants did, and not just promoting his new song. Either way, he still delivered a good performance, and he was in character from beginning to the end, with pretty nice expression. Watching his performance with his dance partner was aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable, so I'd say the job was done anyway.

My overall favorites for this round are clearly Ten & Momo, no doubts. I'm very surprised by Ten, he's definitely a great discovery for me, and I'll be on the lookout for more from him in the future. That boy can dance!

Not sure how I'd rank the others though. All I hope, is that people who lacked a bit so far, will show us their full potential on the next episodes, and yes, I'm mainly talking about U-Kwon, Hyoyeon, Shonwu & Taemin, because all four of them looked like they didn't dance to the fullest of their potential.

I agree. Maybe I expected too much of Taemin? The song choice wasn't a problem, it fit with the routine. Just, all the other dancers had better sync than his but he won? And the teaser parts for Hyoyeon made it seem like a better performance than it actually was (not that it was bad but the moment with the foot stomping man part was the end and not in the middle, most of the middle was tango). Ten was definitely the most surprising.

  4. Momo and Taemin cause bias. But honestly, I wished there were more female dancers. Or for the existing ones that it would be just as big of a production (the dancing) for them as it is for the guys. (Guys get the huge RAWR and JUMPING and EPIC GROUP CHOREOGRAPHY and girls....sigh.)

Edit: I've only watched the first episode. Will check the second right now.

  5. The show feels like Skip Beat. It's tackling the character's "scars" so when they get to the big showdown, they're emotionally stable and ready (which is why they're tackling her conflicting feelings with her father). I thought the drama would last this long was because there was going to be another slight issue with the webtoon series and the gang? Boss where he finds out that the car caused her issues or something and somehow becomes involved with the big showdown. Instead they dismissed it easily and dragging the series along..  :rlytearpls:
