I'm not keen on dating opposites. Like I said, it's not that I don't find butches attractive (someone like Amber for example I find hot af) but girls that are just a bit more feminine make my heart flutter more. If I were to give examples of non-kpop crushes I'd say Penélope Cruz and Natalie Portman. They're both very chic, very feminine, but not necessarily flower-dresses and everything pink kind of women lol (aka super girly girl). Badass but chic and sexy, I love that. I'm definitely the type to want to take care of my gf. I love spoiling people when I'm dating them. I lean more towards top, but I guess I'm versatile, depends on my partner. I don't think it's necessarily that people here like super femme girls, but butches don't seem very popular here I'll agree with you. Mostly I think girls prefer more feminine in appearance but tomboyish in personality here? Well, nothing wrong with that though? Appearance wise tomboys can be hot but I prefer chic, girlish types. Hani, Yoona, AOA Mina are all examples of what I like I suppose. The kind of girl with a pretty and pure image whose personality doesn't match her looks.

I have not seen much of Kim Sook but in the clips I've seen of unnies she has definitely pinged me. She dresses quite tomboyish as well when she's not on shows, and like you said for a woman of her generation and age not to be married is suspicious. She was also on a fake marriage show like KSY and apparently those two are quite close.. I smell gay gal pals lol.

I saw this discussion has gone further in other posts, but I just wanted to add my two cents. Actually, the way Wilde was so flamboyant gave him a bad name in his circles. It was definitely not something that was done in that time. The way he talked, his fashion, his manner was often mocked (there were caricatures of him). Even before Wilde was a playwriter/writer he was known because of his image. To give a specific example, when Wilde was tried he put his hand before his mouth as he laughed. This was because he took something, I believe ivory but might have been another substance, which in that time was used as a cure for syphilis. This made the teeth green, which Wilde was trying to hide. It was used against him in the case as it was seen as a sign of effeminacy. A similiar example is Proust. He did a 'double bluff' with his handshake, which was very limp and weak (as opposed to the STRONG AND FIRM handshakes manly men had back then), in order to show off that he wasn't insecure about his masculinity. He was, of course, because Proust was well gay, but it was a double bluff. TL;DNR: Wilde's manner was a sign of his homosexuality back then. But it's worth mentioning that even now there are some very flamboyant straight men. Not many tbh and I don't think it's fair to read those ~signs unless you're gay yourself, but still.

Ah, Invincible Youth... that program brings back memories. Gay me needs more variety shows with pretty female idols as the cast tbh. And they were mad funny too! S1 was the best. Hyomin and Sunny had a womance as well. I'd definitely recommend IY to anyone who hasn't seen it, it's so gay I'm convinced Kim Shinyoung is queen of the lesbians like Hong Seok Cheon is king of the gays, but she isn't out.. When you're in the closet or you can't come out, I don't think it's odd to name things you like of the opposite sex. Me too, I love it so much. It's really sweet and accepting when they just play along. Yoona had a little bit of an iffy reaction some time ago, and it still leaves a bitter memory in my mind ("she went 'I'm going to marry a man!' while laughing, so it's not bad really.. but still, did that have to be said?
