Maaaan, after today's rank reveal, we are going to lose the sympathy votes. After last week's elimination round, all I am hoping is for Miyu to get to the final. I am very salty about the Gmarket votes that caused the ranks of the Japanese trainees to tank so hard last week. I am surprised international fans are not talking about it since the Chinese fans were very bitter about the move. I do not know Korean but from what I can understand from the Chinese fans, Gmarket gave out discount coupon for those who purchase and vote through the site. As a result, for the sake of getting those coupons, the Koreans shoppers chose to vote for mid-rank Korean trainees (or whoever they like by looking at the girls' portraits). This messes with the ranks as many of those voters do not even watch the show. After today's reveal, I have very little faith that Miyu can stay in top 12 by this round's voting (I would love to eat my words).

I was disappointed that Miyu wasn't given much screentime but not surprised. It is obvious that Mnet and AKS has some kind of agreement to push certain girls, which explains why some of the girls have some kind of "script" in the show. AKS has long given up on pushing Miyu. Even if Miyu has the potential to be in the top 12, it is understandable that AKS do not see the need/benefit to push Miyu now because Miyu just doesn't appeal to AKB48 fanbase (not once has she ranked in general election). I feel so helpless that I am unable to vote for Miyu. All I can do is steam her videos, hoping that it will somehow get her some attention from p48 fans, and that her Korean fanbase stay strong. Ps. If you guys watch Miyu's earlier videos where she performed in AKB48, you will notice that she sounded really different. Her current vocal color is both talent and hard work. She's amazing.
