As much as I love some recognition for Hyungwon, I would vote Wonho bc that boy is a serious stan attractor material for non-fans and HTS has a lot of followings from stans of other groups. When, if not now to attract others into learning more abt mx? Also in that Idol Arcade video, I swear I will never unheard the '1thegay'intro lmao. Wonho didn't seem so chirpy there tho, & jooheon's aegyo will never fail to remind me why I wanna slap myself when I see it.

Yeah I don't doubt BTS will climb their way up, it didn't take them just a few months to achieve this. I think their k fandom started catching up after I Need You. I personally think they can be the next Big Bang instead of Ikon due to their international appeal. We'll see.

Don't worry, I think it's just that we can't help comparing when we see other groups from bigger agencies. Big3 fandoms mostly has established fanbase, it's normal for fans of senior groups to follow through the newest editions. Plus BP was hyped for how many years? Back then I just listen and keep tabs of groups which consistently have good releases, regardless of companies. Think of Beast, Infinite, Vixx or BTS. Even now BTS haven't had a hit song to date, tbh kpop scene is saturated rn. Just enjoy their cb & stages. At least they aren't under utilized like groups under Cube or YG. They have the marketing aspect pats down, eventually they'll grow. I felt like monbebes are so lucky & spoiled seeing how many varieties, follow & self mvs they have. The boys are so endearing so that didn't help. Just don't feel pressured to snag all the accolades and stuff.

Maybe why Fighter didn't get too hot of a response; 1) It's not as ratchet hard beat as they had with Hero & Stuck 2) People being extra critical since it's the ultimate bg cb month. Anyhow I love it, if anyone tries to paint Monsta X as another 'hep hap swag' group, at least they have Fighter in their repertoire to prove their versatility (& White Sugar, I'm sorry I love that song so much). Fighter gets me so pumped up it's a shame if people can't fully immerse in it. In fact if they really cared about MX's dirty signature beat, they could have just listen to the album lmao.

I hope it blows over, I love that he spoke about it bc shits behind the scene like this rarely gets exposed, especially mx being relatively new. I don't want it to escalate to the point that the boys have to hold their tongues next time.

Thanks. That sucks tbh, if that's the case then they should have made BTS came up with the choreo instead. I'm glad they are okay with it, although they didn't even get a say in it.

About those friends that won't listen to their first album, I even dl-ed their prior albums along with the clan pt.2. And before I dipped my feet into any of MX's discography, I already loved their tracks on no.mercy from randomly browsing yt. Hieut & Interstellar are soo good, 0Young is nice too but the first one is more of my style. Nonchang's beat is amazing. In that sense, I like Starship's production. I know composer idols are worshipped, not that I'm downplaying that fact bc some idols have done great songs eg; Jinyoung b1a4 with 1 step 2 steps, but ultimately if the end product lacklustre compared to the works of professional producers then idk, , , I mean they can still learn, only release it when its up to the company standard. They weren't trained for it anyways so no pressure. Just my 2 cents on it since some stans like to brag abt that aspect.

A a a a a Their choreo & execution did not bring down the song's epicness at all. Meaning they delivered Fighter as a concept really well, you can feel the energy and intensity. They stepped up their stage game :' ( Now moving on to more lines for Hyungwon pls.

tmw 'white girl' sneaked out of nowhere into the top of your playlists. EVEN THE RAPPER LINE SOUNDS MAJESTIC. ok one small complaint I got from a user in AJ, I'm afraid if Kihyun's voice is overused in mx's songs; Tho in some cases, eg. Move Like Jagger remix, Kihyun's voice was everything, Starship need to seriously harness the other singers. Pls don't let it be Hyorin & Sistar all over again.

I can say like 70% of me believe that Mx has knocked Beast as mt ult bias group. So far they have solid releases, I just regretted that I never took the time to fully immerse myself in their title tracks pre-All In. Until Starship starts distributing line evenly to the visual lines & continue with the solid releases, I truly believe that they can be bigger than they are right now, performance wise even. Their choreos are at Infinite level of good. Fighter gave Mx that BAP vibe and that's refreshing bc they can do ratchet club like Heroes too. So far their production crew are dedicated af and it shows with every releases, they have their signature Mx sound.

Tbh All In was my kind of shit & I never rly intended to stan mx as a group. Eventhough wonho is ridiculously hot :/ They were too charming as a group and so were the other members (wonho's childish charms, shownu's endearing rigidness, jooheon's cringey extra-ness, I.M.'s wit & poise, Minhyuk's puppy energy and kihyun which seems to be everyone's punching bag lmao). Till now I have no apparent bias, I was attracted to Hyungwonho's visual but I never rly stan my bias solely for looks. All In was magnificent so I hope they continue the same quality for the rest of trilogy. I also checked out a few of no.mercy episodes (which I still feel for I.M.) and the visual line aren't so shabby at all. I'm still waiting for the day for starship to capitalize hyungwon's sultry tone into a good love-making song like jooyoung's wet tho.

OT10 fans aren't shoving the idea down anyone's throat lmao no one is stopping you from stanning your fav. But it's another thing to constantly whine about your fav (when he is one of the most popular & known member) and rag about other stans with 'conspiracy' plans. As volatile as PTG fandom can be, surely it can't be as worse as the mess from M&M, which I assume most Hongseok fans are derived from. Like chill & take a seat your boy is all good. -
Omg how can I forgot Btob's tutting. WOW did them justice though, too bad public like ballad Btob more. I guess you can say that Cube's bg main strength has always lean into vocals. But back then I really enjoyed when Beast had many signature dance moves like Shock, Breath & Fiction. Idk if that is the same trend in kpop choreo now. If PTG aims in being performance oriented, good choreo is a must ala bts or exo even. But I'm not confident that all of them can keep up to that level. //and they don't need to if they can impress me with their vocals imo. I just need a well-thought up concept, good songs and good execution (cube don't fuck this up) I really like Jinho's & Tiger JK's song. It had a lot of heart, unexpectedly. This is why I prefer them not going full on hep-hap either because they have so much to offer in the vocal & creativity department.

The styling was awful but Bad Girl is catchy af till this day. The best thing about being a rookie group is that (if Cube gives enough shit tho) they can explore other concepts till they found what works for them. Remember Beast pre-Fiction, just thinking about Pentagon's endless potential makes me excited (imagine school plot theme like Beast's Beautiful) then again their agency... this speaking from CLC's recent cb that was kinda dull despite being a group full of talents and visuals. Like at least 4minute had a clear concept of disco candy funk in their earlier discography.

they reminded me of beast's predebut street dance(the bandana & hats). tbh I wanted them go into beast's earlier Breath era mix with infinite like in their trailer and also a touch of r&b. Dance oriented + vocal power. Also they can have different sub-units like beast had in 3 pairs, each with their own songs. I actually trust their potential with this week's collab. The weakest link Shinwon even has dongwoon potential imo. People can shit on e.dawn's tone but his reminds me of giriboy and he kills as a dancer. The only downside of this is that 10 members would be quite a struggle for line distribution. But cube never really had a large group, it'd be nice to make an exception especially when their seniors group will get enlisted.

Lmao complaining pentagon has too many individual fans when in the beginning you threw a fit over ot10 fans & fear of Hongseok's spot. If they pull an eunbin with shinwon, then I would be invested 100% into the group. I don't even feel like watching anything after that heartbreaking elimination. Cube is really stupid & out to piss off their fandoms after what happened to 4m & hyunseung. If pledis can make seventeen work, idk why ot10 can't. -
Hongseok is live on v-app rn and even Hyuna + CLC Seungyeon made an appearance. Other than that there are other members practicing and composing. Kino's composed songs sound promising, I hope they'll release those somehow when they debut.
