I know this might not be what everyone wants to hear but I have a feeling Jinsoul might very well be a member of the last unit and not the June or July girl. I hope I'm wrong but, apart from having the same hair colour as Kimlip, she doesn't exactly scream badass or girl crush to me.

Her Naver profile at least literally only says Vivi, but then the profiles of the other girls also omit their family names.

The english language wiki page also briefly listed her as Kim Jung Eun but I deleted it seeing as whoever edited it in hadn't provided a citation for the information. Could be there is information floating around somewhere but my guess is it's just fans taking rumours as fact without proper authentication.

The only other big change I get from that post is that they seem to have dropped the travel concept, which I guess makes sense because as far as I can tell so far they seem to be sinking far more money into buying the song and filming the video for Kimlip than they did for the other girls. I can already see the troll threads about how bbc have run out of money and can't afford to travel anymore but I think it's more of a choice to keep the units conceptually distinct and to spend the money more intelligently this unit than a case of running out.

Kimlip isn't a particularly common name at all so most probably it's a stage name. The second character of her name is rarely if ever used in Native Korean names and appears most commonly in the konglish (립스틱)- Lipseutig. There's some speculation that her real name may be Kim Jung-Eun as there are a few Korean twitter accounts claiming her as a classmate or friend under that name. If that is her real name my guess would be they chose to use a stage name because the first thing that comes up if you search Kim Jung Eun is Kim Jong Un and they probably didn't want her drawing comparisons to a national enemy.

Kimlip's official Naver profile is up and it turns out she was born on 10th February 1999

I think if Haseul didn't use an honorific then it's fairly safe to assume that she's the same age.

IOI's concert was the worst. The company allowed a payed for stream but locked it to only users in Korea and then never released any way for it to be watched by international fans. Eventually (and I'm talking months later) the subbing team managed to get a copy and it's been alternately hosted somewhere and then removed by YMC in a loop since.

I am so unbelievably hyped for the mv now. This sounds like it's going to be exactly my type of song and the teaser looked so fucking stunning so BBC is definitely delivering the aesthetics as we've come to expect!

I was 100% thinking of wjsn when I wrote that comment. I remember most of the girls had like 2 suggestions and I think a couple of them were automatically won by the only mock anyone suggested.

I love that we have so many mocks normally when I stan rookie groups they have a choice of about 3 acceptable pictures for the first round of badges. I've seen girls end up with awful badges before just because there is nothing else that works.

As promised yesterday I come to you with a pdf file of printable cassette covers as seen in Vivi's Everyday I love you MV. (Apologises for the shoddy camera work, a photographer I am not) I've tried to be as accurate as possible even down to the framing of the images used but I did have to diverge slightly (We don't have a full body version of Vivi's teaser without the loona branding in the way, and I couldn't find or isolate a transparent file of the Blockberry logo in black) but overall I'm pretty pleased with them, especially as this was all I had to go on The covers are sized to fit a cassette case perfectly when printed at 100% size and look best printed on to slightly glossy card stock at high print quality. I'm a nerd and I want these to continue to match so I've also done a mock of for Kimlip, although I'm gonna wait till all of the details of her debut are confirmed before I print it off.

I've been playing around with the idea of replicating the Loona casette tapes from Vivi's mv since it released and tonight I finally had some free time to make some mock ups: I'm gonna play around with printing them on better paper tomorrow and finalise the dimensions and then I'll put the files up somewhere if anyone else wants them

Yeah the blurred faces are only a guess that may prove completely untrue. I doubt Haseul is in there though because she was already unblurred in an earlier prequel vid. Still it's always fun to guess. At the moment I'm just working on recognising the blurred girls from prequel to prequel so I can get a better idea of how many of them BBC have actually shown us.
