I also remember someone saying they also hired dancers. One of the dancers that a fan chatted w/ said something about the song being up beat and catchy. IDK it it was true or not.
I never got round to leafing through the fan accounts during the filming, the information I have is largely the castings and the narrative, though that is always subject to change, this occurred with some of the London's teasers and quite a few things were not utilised or shared unfortunately from London, I was hoping for more, from what I heard.

I have stumbled across very similar designs or dupes of Fresh Fruit, in many places like, G Market, 11 street and Yestyle. 3 large retail chains/wholesalers.
It is difficult to take action against those retailers as Fresh Fruit also has similarities with other brands such as UNIF and there is one more that has escaped my mind. I don't think you can patent fruits on a baseball cap, its pretty much free for all, this is probably only applied to those brands and retail chains, not the fan clubs or merchandise such as the exo fansite.
I hope Fresh Fruit can protect their brand as much as possible.

I will elaborate more on what I meant because I feel like some are not understanding.
Me equating skin color to all other characteristics is how I picture Korea views it. I am saying thats how I feel Korea treats skin color. It is just another characteristic/beauty trait that they often criticize and speak on. Nothing more.
This only works if Korea doesnt have a history of mass kilings and dehumanization of people over skin color. And from what I know they don't. Or at least its not heavily ingrained in their society based off of history.
Now if I am wrong then yes I am ignorant of it. LOL I guess I didnt research enough on it. But if I am right and Korea doesn't have this history that other parts of the world does, especially America then I still stand by what I said.
I actually find it more ignorant to dismiss another culture's norms and judge them as "wrong" or "not the same level" if you are basing that justification off of your own social and cultural norms. Trust me I share the same views as all of you who find it offensive. I do and its my first instinct when I saw the picture. But then you have to take a step back, be more open minded, and just have to understand that other cultures dont have the same history as you therefore they have different norms. And just because of that it doesnt mean you can judge what they do as not okay or wrong in the context of race and genocide. Like I said you can be offended in the idea of beauty and thinking its shallow or insulting in general then ok. But using the whole "different levels" "discrimination and killings" and race is not right.
This only works if Korea never really had this historical issue of killings over color. But like I said before if I am wrong and they do then ok I will give it to you.

And this is interesting. But I would agree on this only if it stems from or skin color is used to ostracize in this case.
Skin colour is definitely being used to ostracize communities and people in South Korea, you can research it, its highly prevalent even the United Nations has commented on it and its abuse.
I will give you an example, during the Ebola breakout a few stores in Seoul put up a sign of whites only. My friend who is a teacher who is black receives abuse on a bus on a daily basis, and has had a tough time teaching, she has experienced many pleasant people but has never encountered such daily racism.
Now if I said to her that someone's nose or height is receiving the same level of discrimination as you are being black, she would be flabbergasted.
South Korea originated from Imperial Japanese colonial rule during the 20th century, where the Imperial Japanese colonizers influenced Koreans to view the world around them from a racist perspective nazi tone, so there is a history here of dehumanization. So south Korea has been exposed and elicit to such war crimes. Is this not enough?
There is no such rule as to it only works such and such if it has a mass history of killings, doesn't recent history as well not count whatsoever. Where do you draw the line? Should we wait till matters worsen over the next 20 years.
I am of mixed culture, would be inheritably tough to put forward my ignorance towards my own culture of preferring whiter skin, I live and breath it.
Anyhow I can discuss this all day, I spent a campaign on kick out racism in the UK one of the biggest organisations. Feel free to PM if you want to talk more.

I say that in the context of Korea. From what I understand Korea doesnt have a history of mass killing of people over their skin color no? If I am wrong then yes I do apologize.
Naturally some could misunderstand the context you applied, to that statement, at least you cleared that up, as far as I am aware there is no history of racial mass killing, but they have a recent history of national racial ostracization, which is increasingly on the rise, which is why it shouldn't really be downplayed even by SK context, to being on the same level as your nose or height. Communities as a whole wouldn't ostracize you for that.

I seem to get drawn here to the heavier topics ^^
My line of thought is very precise to Zizzi's, its pretty much parallel to my thoughts exactly on the subject and I don't feel as if I have anything to add to it, since you said it all.
I understand both east and west cultures too, both have their preferences. Here in England having a tan was a higher status that you were wealthy and could go abroad, that ethos is still ingrained in many, people love to fake tan and many people with very white skin are singled out for being pale.
I also know what my grandparents are like, though they are sun worshipers and don't care about tanning but I know what their generation prefers.
I empathise with those who are victims of false accusations of Racism - it belittles those who have really suffered and puts those who have been accused through an awful time, though I feel some muddy and blur the lines between discrimination and racism.-

I think I know what you mean and I debated about using try hard when I really wanted to say appropriating but I too didn't want to get into that conversation....
I see, though the usage of try hard is a total separate issue from the braids, its a personal irk of mine and far too many overuse the term or maybe misuse it, I'm not too sure.
Yeah the appropriating moniker is another subject that irks me too ^^, but that is for another day, I will let sleeping dogs lie, my thoughts on it may not be in vogue to those who are outraged by it, though empathy for it but up to a certain point.

Anyway Mino and his Rhinitis, it must be like having hayfever all the time! I don't know how he manages to keeps in a happy disposition most of the time, when your nose is running and bunged up!

Whats really surprising is Mino how hes never sounded nasally rapping or singing! With his condition!! I hope he finds some sort of cure for it or a way to significantly manage it and reduce it.
Must be an irritation, Zizi, but I think he's accepted to live with it, I too hope he can find methods treatments to reduce and manage his rhinitis. I think many fans gave him items for rhinitis and I remember him mentioning a humidifier which helps his condition.
I'm new here so I didn't take it as you starting anything or the people who responded to you....I just think we were exchanging points of view...which I like....I know some people wear Stan glasses and think their fav can do no wrong....which I'm not saying anyone here is doing....but I can like Mino.....well let me be honest....I'm almost trash for him...almost....but I can still say I personally don't like this performance...or those sad try hard braids he wore during the Machine Gun performance..
Its way past midnight for me, you have mentioned try hard, many have in the past and currently use this term, which seems to gnaw at me. ^^
I do not agree that the term 'Try hard' should always be described mostly towards the genre of 'Hip Hop' I have respect for all genres ,but I always see the term try hard to describe a hip hop genre concept song and what not, this is not solely based at you, its what I have observed overall in Kpop or maybe outside of it too!
How I see it, 'try hard 'doesn't need to be reserved just for Hip Hop, try hard can be applied to those who dance in an excessive overwrought manner which can be deemed cheesy and those who sing songs of affection, heartbreak etc but in a over the top saccharine manner. I deem all the previous examples forced and try hard, but it seems to only stick to Hip Hop genres, which is unfortunate.
I encourage Mino to experiment with his style, especially when you are in your 20's, alot of his style choices are not shared kindly by some of his fans, but its important he experiments and reflects his own style and personality which he does, and I genuinely wouldn't change him in any other way.
The braids is another topic altogether though some which could border on prickly subjects, so for now will skirt around this topic until I stumble upon it again.
It Rains definitely gives me Hey Jude feels. ^^ the chorus.

I totally agree with you. First I thought it was a calculated move but he might just have been really tired, as simple as that. Mino has been working non stop and he said himself he was tired (at the same time he doesnt want to take a break either lol). He gave us so many good performances this year, I still have machine gun on repeat so honestly as I said before, its no big deal. He will probably bring his A game again once he gets some more rest and tbh thats what I want for him too. I commented since I had the same thoughts as Nyai, it wasnt to nitpick or trying to absolutely find a flaw tbh. It just happened I didnt enjoy this perf as much as the others and I can totally understand Mino because it happens...even Beyonce had not-so-amazing performances for her record so I totally get that.

Discussion is healthy! Anyway this is really a good opportunity for Yoon it seems we have seen very little of him in a solo environment.
I'm not sure whether Taehyun did or did not drop out for this show, if he did maybe he is concentrating on producing more music hopefully still got to keep optimistic regarding Winner and Exit X.

It is important to remember to cut some slack, Mino has pretty much brought his A game 9 out of 10 times. I wouldn't personally delve more into why it wasn't A grade just this once!
Important to remember, Mino has not had a break since SMTM 4, if it is true he is preparing a solo, I do feel this Chinese collaboration is an added work load which hasn't come at the best of times, but I'm sure Mino will try his best anyway like he always does.
Its good opportunity for Yoon though, I feel he is more fresher and has more to give right now.
Mino's two performances during SMTM 5 and Don't call me mama rapping stage hit the mark.
I agree he didn't bring his A game which is weird for Mino....shrug....If I didn't know better I would assume this was a rehearsal...but obviously it wasn't. Hopefully he monitored the performance and will make improvements. Although I've noticed with Korean Rappers like...GD , T.O.P. and Suga from BTS....they don't always rap their full verses....its a pet peeve of mine that can take me out of a performance....not a make or break situation for me for you......but ehhh I'm sure they don't care what I think...LOL...
Not just Korean rappers its universal ^^ and I feel you may underrate just how much effort it takes to rap every verse, its impossible to do so in every performance its different to singing.

MYSTERY is SOLVED concerning Hoon! Just we don't know if its any of the other Winner members or an admin who uses funny hashtags as well.
Mino is perfect as he is, Especially since he's not into revealing his body.
There are so many comments on his instagram about wanting abs and for him to reveal, it can be slightly tongue in cheek which is okay
, but if its always looks and body oriented, it can become very demeaning!Though cant expect any different since this is Kpop.
I don't feel he has any problems revealing his body, chest, abdomen etc in front of Winner, friends etc or at a public pool resort which we have already seen, but it appears to be a different story in front of camera and his fans. I don't think he wants to encourage the fans to become that fixed physical specimen type of symbol, which I respect him for, who knows it may change over the coming years.
Mino makes the whole revealing less is more sort of thing work!
As soon as Mino came onto the WIN scene, and talk after a while naturally turned to abs, I wasn't in need of a crystal ball to work out the odds with Mino in regards to that expect, Gym and strict regimen has always been his bugbear, figuratively and metaphorically
Though I would never rule out Mino's future endeavors, he's currently in good shape, though I've never felt compelled to want change him in anyway even his style of clothes! -

an Underrated genre that many outside U.K haven't come across so much. Though Zico Mino sampled a grime track for a mixtape a long time ago. It would be pretty impressive if Mino could create or collaborate a grime style track.

I personally find this fascinating and pretty endearing. Young kids that age, some of them don't know fully how to express their certain feelings that can seem more complex to them and sometimes they will express it in this way or manner which could appear untoward. There's absolutely zero malevolence from the girls here, actually probably more so it's the opposite
which happens alot in most cases.Its a shame Half Moon Friends is not longer series because the complete unfolding of it would have been very charming to see in the long run, and Mino would have gone on a very long learning curve one where he may not always relish but would become very meaningful, poignant and the most rewarding.
Mino the candy bear is stumped, anyhow with such themes its better a third person helps to curb it and redirect it slightly, maybe Hoon (who is abit like the mother of Winner) its all learning for the kids and the grown ups that are Winner.

I know both got the song but I see Winner perform it more, even at their Exit concert so at some point, it feels like it became Winner song? I know iKON performed it pre-debut (in Japan) but I´m not sure if they still do, looks like the song went over to Winner.
The song got more love via the charts when Winner was Team A, plus it's one of the few sparse ,up tempo tracks by Winner as whole, so they decided to utilize it.
I can understand why Ikon wouldn't utilize it, their version was second banana to Team A in the charts, plus they have other up tempo tracks to use.

A proper Grandmothers/ mothers rebellion track is 'Don't call me Mama' . I came across many preconceptions concerning grandmothers rapping, but I could never cringe at children or grandparents they are too inestimable in my eyes. Kudos to Moon HeekYung she has such moxie! both her and Mino had good chemistry.
Mino is in his BAMF element, the track would also kick it in karaoke.
I'm looking forward to an up tempo track from Winner to prove their versatility in Exit X, however I think they have been snubbed in the past by YG. I feel in the past he did not want to overlap up tempo music with fellow YG artist group. I don't see why they cannot master up tempo tracks as well as mid tempo and slow tempo.
