Oh I only joined after pd101 and became an avid Somi fan haha! well i felt the hate (OUTRAGEOULSY UNWARRANTED TOO) for her when standby ioi was showing cause of her super outgoing personality and so many people were criticising this 15 year old girl. Sometimes i think people forget that as much as Somi is an idol, she is practically still a kid as well, and the comments/hate that they direct towards this teenage is so damn immature. tbh tho, its always the fans stirring shit up among the members making them hate one another. but keep doing what you do on that thread and i'll definitely give you upvotes for your somi posts when i see them

Hi guys, its my first time posting here and I've gotta say I was never a Kpop fan and my knowledge of Kpop was basically Gangnam Style. HOWEVER, my friend forced introduced me to PD101 and being a hardcore reality junkie, I fell hard for the show. Somi caught my eye from day 1 and I've been a hardcore (lurker) fan of hers since. I'm not too sure about the korean culture but from Stand-by IOI, I was almost positive that her extremely outspoken character would rub people the wrong way. But like, I just love her spontaneous and silly dance/antics. In recent days tho, the negativity towards her on here is so depressing. Its almost evil how people hate on a 15 year old girl for just being... well, 15. Her attitude is great, she enjoys the company of her mates (and they enjoy hers too – those claiming otherwise, are clearly deluded). She's not acting like a bratty, obnoxious teenager most 15 year olds are, she's grateful and thankful to her seniors. I don't get the hate and I don't see how people can spew hatred for this girl who is pretty much unhateable lolol. Unpopular opinion: I kinda want them to disband soon so that all these fighting among fans and hating on other girls would just end and we can all just stan for them separately. This voting system from PD101 really divided fans within IOI and its not healthy :(
