  6. iKON Explore Feelings of Loneliness in 'I'm OK' Video: Watch 1/7/2019 by Tamar Herman K-pop boy band iKON returned today with their new solitary single “I’m OK.†“I’m OK†fronts the act’s New Kids Repackage: The New Kids, a compilation album -- or repackage, as it’s known in the K-pop world -- that features songs featured on three prior EPs released in 2017 and 2018 as part of iKON’s New Kids series. The song expressively depicts the forlorn feelings that accompany loneliness as the members sing and rap over a minor scale-set, mellow pop-rock melody littered with whizzing synths. According to the blog of the act’s company YG Entertainment, B.I. described the song’s message as being based on, “A person’s mindset of wanting to cry more when told, ‘Don’t cry’ and feeling more uneasy when asked, ‘Are you ok?’†“I’m OK†features lyrics that overflow with a sense of rawness and desperation, such as "I feel like everyone has turned their back on me/ I feel bad for myself, I feel so small" and "I'm OK/ Don't comfort me/ You don't have to pity me/ You don't have to stay with me, I'm fine." The song was composed by B.I with Future Bounce, while B.I, Bobby, and Kim Jong Won co-wrote the lyrics. "I'm OK" was first performed on Sunday (Jan. 6) during the iKON Continue Tour Encore concert the act held in Seoul, and was released through a music video that features the seven-members in varied states of distress and loneliness as they ruminate on the song's theme. "Even though I'm better off by myself, loneliness hits me from time to time," raps Bobby while surrounded by television sets. "My answer will always be a huge smile if anyone asks how I'm doing," he says a few lines later. The video ends with the men coming together as the song fades out with its lo-fi final request of, "I want to be alone so please leave me alone." “I’m OK†is iKON’s first single of 2019, and follows the group’s immense success in 2018, most notably with their hit song “Love Scenario.†Since their start in 2015, iKON's seen five albums rank within the Top 5 of the World Albums chart. They most recently ranked with last year's New Kids: The Final, which peaked at No. 5 on the chart dated Oct. 13. Source
  7. From what I've seen online it was said that sharing any photos or videos would result in less airtime. So we would probably only get them once it airs.
  8. Yes they are. There are no photos or videos as it's prohibited.
  9. I think for YG, it's a way for many to see the concert who may not have experienced it in person so a way to entice them to see them live next time they come to those countries. I think on the Thai stream there was over 100k viewers, on the Hong Kong one 20k, don't know about Indonesia and Malaysia streams.
  10. Yes that's the one, also same form the video when they won on Show Champion
  11. Yes the one they filmed earlier this year in like February/March around that time.

  18. iKON Talk 'Goodbye Road,' 'New Kids: The Final' & Upcoming World Tour: Watch the Interview 10/25/2018 by Tamar Herman Korean boy band iKON released New Kids: The Final, the last of their New Kids album trilogy, on Oct. 1 and promptly saw major success with the single “Goodbye Road.†The EP peaked at No. 5 on the World Albums chart -- one of their five albums to make it into the top five of that chart. The group’s seven members sat down with Billboard to discuss the album and the New Kids series, as well as slowing things down for “Goodbye Road.†“We like to try new things,†says Bobby. “We’ve mostly done hip-hop, not this kind of genre, so it was fresh. We loved it, we enjoyed it.†B.I, who writes much of the act's music, said iKON does “all genres†and later said that the group hopes people feel “young and wild and free†after listening to the New Kids songs.
