I still think that if the rumors of units are anywhere close to true, SM would have announced by now, they can maybe add 1 member ala RV but not a entire unit without being announced before debut, SM would be asking for blood and kfans won't be happy, there will be a lot of fanwars, inside problems and so on. While i think the pics were pretty (i think the pics had some weird editing), i think they look much better in motion crd: yoosjimin and chaeyongs

She's said to be an alto, which mean she's not gonna suit the high pitched songs kpop groups get, she's probably gonna have a sub vocal position too All this discussion about more members or units, i actually don't mind small groups, i actually prefer small groups to big groups since the chance to everybody getting their chance to shine is bigger in small groups, like how many NCT members are forgotten and sm don't really care about them? a lot, sm even forget some units exist (see NCT Dream, i could say even WayV is quite forgotten by SM, even in SM's fave unit 127 there are members paid dust), i don't see any point of more members only to clean sm's dungeon, the less, the better when it comes to SM. As for units things, i don't think is gonna happen, sm would have announced, there were rumors from insiders that the plans changed during the early of the year and they are gonna debut 2 ggs pretty close to each other so that must be real but i don't think they are gonna be units, most likely 2 different groups under this SM culture concept or whatever it is. If they would have debuted as units first, sm would have announced already, they announced nct units concept pre-debut.

This is the same as NCT's Donghyuk becoming Haechan after debut but i definitely expected in Jimin's case, there are way to many Jimins in industry including BTS Jimin which won't help her search, Karina is a nice name.

If is true probably some nct sasaengs since nct have big problems with them, if they stalk to see their bias, probably saw some trainees going in and out, i wish SM will do something with this sasaengs.

There is no way to debut 2 units and no announce it first, you let people to believe that 4 or whatever number of members are the group and bang add another unit, they are gonna get a lot of hate, at least in NCT people knew what to expect. WJSN has a similar unit thing, they announced it before debut and they didn't even debuted the units separately. I don't think SM is so stupid (at least i hope they aren't that stupid and let the girls debut normally), they would have announced that 1 unit debut first and then a second unit debut and at final the group get together or something/

To be fair, SM never called the group multinational. I also don't think is gonna be a big group, sm is kinda focused on western market and a big group has smaller chances to make it, somewhere between 4 to 7 members is more likely.

Nah, is obvious SM is trying their best to keep Irene's career alive, i don't think i even saw them trying this much, they could have keep her without killing her career when SM won't get money out of her anymore, SM want the idols to have a good positive image to keep making money out of them.

I think the comment before you is right, the original new gg was supposed to have a lighter concept which the original rookies suited, they decided to change the concept so they changed the members, in my opinion, the girls were revealed way to soon, the boys were fine since they debuted not long after but even if the group debuted on time which was about 2018, they were still revealed long before debut and anything can happen. SM made a mistake in revealing trainees so early before debut, they should have done it like they have done with RV, reveal the rookies a few months before debut, give them some promo and thats all, Lami was introduced at the end of 2013, thats 7 years ago, Koeun, Herin and Hina in 2015, thats 5 years ago, NingNing in 2016, Lami was introduced at the same time as Irene, there was no reason to introduce her then, she didn't do anything in particular until 2015 when she went to MMC, same as NingNing, i don't see why they introduced her and didn't do anything with her (or Yiyang), they made her sing some cartoon songs and thats all, she didn't need to be a smrookie for this, we barely even saw her in motion lol. Looking how they didn't introduced Jimin with smrookies and how NCT's new members weren't introduced with smrookies project, i think they give up for the moment.

I'm betting on January 2021 or a december 2020 introduction with a january debut like WayV and DBSK.

With NCT 2020, i kinda lost hope for a debut this year, at least i hope they start to tease them at the end of the year and release some members (at least the ones known if they are in the group).

Loona is mostly full of koreans, they have like 1 chinese and 11 koreans, if something G-idle is probably the most foreign based gg right now with half of line up being foreigners and their foreigners are pretty well received in Korea (it does help and the 2/3 are basically native in terms of language with knetz saying they are speaking better korean than full koreans). I don't see this gg with more than half foreigners too, probably similar to Twice with 5 kor and 4 foreigners depends of the size of the group but will most likely be around 60% kor and 40% foreigners (i expect 1/2 chinese, 1 jpn, 1/2 sea members most likely thai, sm is pretty focused on Indonesia this days so a indonesian could happen too). For some reason i think their debut won't happen this year, we are mid september and we don't know a thing about them, let's not speak that most SM groups debuted until september to get roty, i guess with this year being dead on female rookies, they could debut in october but even a october debut should be announced by now.

If the 2 ggs are real, Helen will most likely gonna make it in the second one, she's a way to new trainee, i was confused when she joined because she was of age but to new to make it part of this new gg but does make sense if sm debut 2 ggs, Hina unfortunately is rumored to have left, i hope not but most of this rumors ended being true. 4/5 had pre-debut promos and all of them beside Joy were known since months before debut, Wendy had 2 vocal covers, Seulgi and Irene had dance videos and random videos released, as well as all 3 had photos as part of smrookies, Wendy released a OST pre-debut, Seulgi featured in a Henry song and appeared in his MV, Irene appeared in a Henry MV, Yeri performed at smtown before debut [all of this are from the year before debut so were new when they debuted), this gg is a mystery, beside Jimin in that Taemin's song 1 year and half ago and NingNing sung for that kids show 2/3 years ago, if Hina left how is rumored nobody else has pre-debut promo and none of the members are known.
