There's just too many survival shows, it seems more idols are going on them than actually being an idol! I have no clue about MIXNINE but should be interesting to see how Sori goes. Anyway, they're pretty close to fulfilling their kickstarter!! Only 16 days left to go and people have already snapped up the Dark Circle outfits for ¥300,000! That's $57874.69AUD and if we're going by JPY not Chinese Yuan, that's $3402.729 AUD! That's insane!!

I think everyone and their grandmothers is going on all these survival shows nowadays. Seems the way to get your name out there quickly (and maybe drama free). I was thinking of watching the Unit and probably will if Coco is included in it for a fair amount of screen time.

I can relate to this. I envy Geummi being able to get to the gym at least five days a week, I go two and wish I had extra time for more. Always cranking that Crayon Pop whilst working out on the treadmill.

Ugh I don't even want to think about what shipping would be to Australia. I wouldn't donate myself though because I don't trust kickstarters. I'm sure they'll fulfill their promises and pledges, but I'm just not willing to throw money at something I don't 100% know I'm going to get a physical product from. I'd totally buy the song digitally or in physical form if available At least they're keeping their faces out their and getting known. Anyone else planning to watch the Unit? I know it's going to be messy with all those idols in it. 200 to start with and then cut down to 63 male and 63 female after the first elimination/episode

I just wish Pledis would re-print older OC albums, I never got the chance to get the physical versions of anything before Catallena and I'm angry I know I'm late to the party, but how stupid is this? Pledis can't manage their own artists let alone taking on another group of 9 girls. I was watching Idol School from the start but I found it a bit boring and once they eliminated all the talented girls, I was out

I just looked up the Heaven versions as I'd never seen them and they look amazing!! The shh one is one of my faves Lovely photo! Lizzy give me the secret to your bangs, I can never get mine to look like that

The page comes up with Japanese text and the icon displayed is used for both Chinese Yuan and Japanese Yen when I search up symbol for Yen. But when you copy and paste into google, it does come up with Chinese Yuan. ¥5,000 Chinese Yuan Comes up at $959 AUD for me They are posting updates on their social media in Korean, Japanese and English so who knows who this is directed at. Someone already pledged for Sori's cosplay from a youtube vid at ¥100,000!! The following reward tiers are already snapped up: ¥20,000

Haha don't worry, I know like none of the names of E-Girls besides Ami and Shizuka. I mainly buy the albums to support them and get the nice psychical versions. iTunes is stupidly expensive in Australia so it works out cheaper to buy the albums overseas. My friends think I'm crazy for still buying CD's I've seen collectors with the mu-mo versions and I do have to say I love the mu-mo cover! I've been collecting the square/box designs of AS's Japanese singles and that would've matched perfectly! But I got the CD+DVD+Photobook version instead. Mu-mo covers are usually my favourites of E-Girls as well. Yes, BEST would've sold well for being a grad release and it had great content on the versions besides the CD Only. Just look at this beauty

So you can get this outfit as one of the rewards. I was casually scrolling through instagram and then bam! Sexy Coco! The kickstarter states you can help them with the MV for two new songs. No mention of the titles at all, but I kept thinking there may have been a Japanese version of Dark Circle judging from the outfits and they haven't made a Japanese version of the song yet. Maybe it's a Japanese comeback? I did enjoy their last one even though the physical CD was a pain to get and luckily a friend brought it for me in Japan.

Haha I'm a casual fan too, don't hard core follow groups anymore. I'm just collecting the older albums and some singles of E-Girls and then Dream Ami's singles. Not getting her album unfortunately as it's out of my price range for a CD I already own nearly all the tracks on. I totally agree! After School had good momentum going in Japan and Avex had solid releases album wise in regards to photobooks and multiple versions. I think BEST was marketed better than DTK and had a few different versions that were more appealing.

Kickstarter is more well known and used by international fans I guess. I'm wary of kickstarter though, my friends have backed lots of projects that ended up not fulfilling their requirements (look up Bee and Puppycat). But the best news from this is that they are obviously having a comeback soon!!!!

E-Girls can be difficult to keep track of but I mainly only follow Dream Ami nowadays so that makes it easier. Avex definitely should've taken AS in, their Japanese releases were always of high quality. Plus they were well marketed to the Japanese audience and the albums were easily available to purchase for international fans. They seemed to have more push in Japan rather than Korea in terms of marketing. I didn't think about the clash in promotions but that definitely would've hurt it. I do recall thinking something was up the DTK promotions at the time. DTK is an amazing album (minus one or two tracks that aren't too hot in my opinion) and it's a shame it flopped.

Haha if OC ever comes back, put her in charge of promotion E-Girls are under the avex sub label Rhythm Zone and Avex did After Schools/Orange Caramel Japanese promotions. So I guess they had the boxes lying around and didn't want to waste them E-Girls had similuar boxes in their E.G. Anthem MV as well. I wish Avex would just take After School under their own label and promote them. They had such good Japanese releases and the physical albums (whilst expensive) are always great quality

Yay! Relevance! There's a rumour someone is joining from Pledis but it's unlikely to be the OC girls given how active they currently are with solo projects.

I have a fear of sea animals, no way I'm going near one At the museum where I live, they have a taxidermied giant squid and they put it in an old elevator shaft (about 4 or 5 stories high) so you can stand on the top of it. So scary and I can't believe that thing was real at some point (I think they found it in Tasmania or New Zealand)
