Last season it was pinky and doyeon that had a lot of promoters. sejeong was ofc popular. sohye by far was the most talked about trainee (like every 5 pages a debate would erupt about her) chungha was also popular but more in the sense that everybody liked her not that she had hardcore stans like doyeon and pinky Yoojung, chaeyeon, mina, nayoung were def more popular in korea than in OH

um i compared hyunbin to risa because i dont think he'll make the group. thats it. that was not a diss against risa's hardwork lol. and i compared seonho to sohye because i think he'll make the group. end of.

even after ep 2 when they had about the same airtime..risa ranked in the 60s or 50s while sohye was in the 20s or even higher. screentime is a factor but there is a reason sohye got pushed and risa didnt.

his background is sohye but honestly seonho is more the type to pull a sohye to me. hyunbin seems the type to get discouraged easily because hes a pessimist from what ive seen in ep 2. he seems more like a ayoshari risa? hes def cute but idk i cant see him making the final group but seonho...definitely

yass i agree. King jinyoung will rise soon. He just needs confidence. and he has the perfect image already that will make him distinct from other boys which will give him advantage in terms of making it into the final group Like hes the mysterious, shy kid who hasnt realized his full potential yet

Like with ren just giving up to dancing pick me and just starting to act cute instead that was when i became rly suspicious if theyve been dictated by pledis.

but how? Literally i watched them perform in 2016 and they were flawless and they executed well. Being an idol is like 4x harder than being a trainee...i can understand floundering at first but they act like theyre fishes out of the sea...like they havent trained for 3 years or smth before debuting....i call bullshit. Baekho i can feel that his struggle is genuine..but with ren and minhyin im??? Idk maybe as someone who was there when they debuted, believed them to be the next big boy group, and saw so much potential in them, them kinda flopping just confuses me. I can understand if they had whack ass vocals while dancing pick me, but they just gave up dancing and didnt even try to recover

I really dont understand why nuest was flopping so bad in the reeval except for jr. is it like a strategy dictated to them by pledis? How can an experienced 5 year old idol group do that bad? Ren didnt even try. ngl, him giving up halfway through and being jest about it turned me off forever. If i had the power, he would not be getting any of my votes tbh which is tragic bc pre-show he was one of the trainees i was sure i will be voting in my top 11

i agree with u lowkey tbh. the produce 101 season 1 thread was really toxic but it never felt like people would jump on you for asking innocuous questions. idk why but this thread dont feel as welcoming as season 1's
