How I see it is that the people going to red velvet’s tour aren’t all fans, so them releasing the song before the tour allows concert goers to buy the song after they hear it performed. It’s a decent strategy but they still could’ve gave more of a heads up Basically it’s a pretty card that lets you download the song. If you remember the GD usb controversy kind of like that where you go to a link and download the song. Oricon no longer counts it because iirc they said very few people actually download the music and it’s more of a collector thing

The Toronto venue change is crazy that arena is huge with a 9k capacity not sure what they are thinking since it’s on a weekday.

I believe after the exo album where multiple fans were asking companies which charts were their sales counting towards, many of the stores post it themselves. They haven’t posted an Amazon link yet but DeepDiscount says in their listing that it’ll count on Gaon and Billboard. Really any US retailers should count for billboard.
