  1. Aki-p writes about 99% of the lyrics (whether its actually him or ghost writers who knows but he is credited for almost everything)

But it's not the first time, there are quite a few members credited for lyrics and composition of b-sides and solo/subunit work, like Matsui Jurina (solo album), Yamamoto Sayaka (solo album), Sato Mieko (b-side bokura no kizuna), Kitahara Rie (b-side Guilty Love), and Tanaka Natsumi (B-side: Koisuru Ribbon).

  2.  Haven't paid attention to AKB in ages since my oshis all left but damn this was nostalgic as hell seeing the OG Kami 7 and other popular members come back for this. Not seeing Mayu kinda hurts, but i hope she's enjoying her retirement.

  3. Its not really a leak, its the songs presented at the end of the SM song camp

That means whether a song is actually released depends on whether SM decided to purchase the song or not and it can still go to a different person/group since SM does that somewhat often

huh? I thought he was already tried and sent to jail in 2013, and Open World Entertainment no longer exists. Also Jang Suk Woo was 51 in 2012 when he was first arrested by undercover police officers.

He was only sentenced to 6 years, he got out either 2018 or 2019.

Although i still feel like it's unlikely unless he was immediately put into a ceo position after getting out of jail

Very interesting. It shouldn’t be so easy to create or use multiple melon accounts on one computer and I thought you had to pay a subscription fee for melon, is that wrong?

I believe it’s actually reported that the companies mass hacks into existing melon accounts. One thing that also started to get big at the same time as sajaegi accusations is users complaining about how songs they’ve never listened to showing up on their most played lists

  8. The fact that they're not going after ticket bundles 🤨

It would have been much better if they had stated a minimum price difference between the merch with and without the album.

Because here they basically will just have to price the album 1 cent to make the bundle count.

    They do it's right here

"However, the merchandise/album bundle must be priced at least $3.49 more than the merchandise item alone. ($3.49 is the minimum price of an album to qualify for the charts.)"

  9. Well there are a lot of male idols in their 30s, if that's what she wants and she's still able to why not.

So, she's the longest-running idol in 48 franchise? I remember her being in the industry since she was underaged in SKE48.

Your thinking of Matsui Jurina, who is still a member as well, but Yukirin has been in AKB for the whole time and is from the 3rd generation.

  10. Interesting how some heavy hitters aren’t here, must not have been touring much this year. I assume Perfume will be back on the list next year with their upcoming 2020 Dome tour

Pleasantly surprised to see HSJ on the list since last I heard they canceled a tour this year because fans were acting up

it would be nice to know the breakdown too

number of concerts and capacity with in the year

it says it right next to them. It’s Rank | Last year rank | Artist Name | Attendance (they use Max Capacity of venues) in 10,000s | Number of shows

    so

    TVXQ 571k with 11 shows

    BTS 531k with 12 shows

    Seventeen 445k with 29 shows

    Twice 399k with 16 shows

    iKON 251k with 44 shows

    Taemin 226k with 17 shows
