observation interpretation based solely off of the videos themselves I feel like the overall feeling of the two videos is startlingly different if you step back and think abour the colors and feeling evoked during both of the videos you can see what i mean Begin: had a very dark color palatte almost exclusively devoid of color, except the painting it was lonely but in a strangely cramped way. To me it felt as if there was a distinct lack of space, possibly depicting a lack of choice or ability to think clearly there was chaos, things happened quickly and in rapid succession as if the character was struggling to keep up Lie: had a sterile white theme with flashes of more intense color like the paintings and the apple it has a lot of open spaces, scenes that appeared to have no ends or walls. Places that seemes to stretch forever as if they were projected from the unconscious mind slow transitions that you could see, for the most part. things seemed to happen more slowly and deliberately where the character spent more time doing one thing without a scene change In both: violence - as depicted in the skulls, bloody paintings, pills, choking, gunshot, car crash, fires clothed in white - perhaps this has something to do with a certain moral or expected purity, perhaps in both videos the characters wish to be pure or are a depiction of purity in a place of corruption. paintings - a painting is a still image representing a single frame of time. both characters interact closely with their respective paintings though the images themselves are quite different singing - though both of the characters sing they dont perform in the same way. Jungkook's depiction is an echo and a short one at that. He sings a single line while sitting motionless on the bed. Jimin's depiction is several lines in full voice while he is dancing that extends through a few scene changes. Not sure what to make of all that but maybe it means something to the theorists
